Tried so many providers and Vodafone have never let me down. Never buffers as I stream a lot, no line rental and never been overcharged. I am on the lower option with many devices and never had a problem. 5* from me. Been with them 18 months now and will remain with them. Use many devices and never been overcharged.

Overall the broadband is ok but I’ve had problems connecting certain devices. My epson printer would not connect but was fine with regular Vodafone so I had to buy a new printer. My Amazon max firestick wouldn’t connect either so had to return and purchase a regular firestick. Once my contract ends I will be changing as there is obviously something not right if certain devices won’t connect even with help from Vodafone Technical.

I’ve had nothing but hassle from Vodafone ! They left me with no internet for a whole month ! Spent hours every evening being passed from pillar to post . Still got nowhere ! I had to choice but to switch to another provider , now they decided to put me in the hands of debt collectors for the early cancellation fee of £164 of which I don’t owe ! In fact they owe me £9.45 per day compensation for having no internet . Do not sign up with this company it’s the worst ever with no customer service skills whatsoever. See you in court Vodafone !!

Avoid like the plague. Our broadband has been no better than useless since day one. We reported this to Vodaphone within days of install to be told we had to wait 14 days for the line to 'Settle' which obviously never happened. We then tried to cancel and were told we couldn't because we were passed the 14 day cooling off period. Really dirty practice. Having called them more times than I can remember to be told a million crap excuses and given as many empty promises we still have no internet..I've now given up and signed up with another company before my contract's finished. Awful customer service, awful broadband, awful company.

I'm on the Superfast 2 broadband where i should get around 63mbps.. on good days I get 53/54. However the routers supplied is useless, I keep getting drop outs on all devices. VF have sent me 3 routers all have the same issue! Customer service is poor. My advice is stay away, its more hassle than savings or quality.

    Where do I start......
Great deal they offer for home broadband... But it's not the deal you get.
Vodafone customer service is very poor and speeds vary. I should have min of 35mbs but was getting 6mbps.
I was charged termination fees and installation fees when completing a home move, which I was told I wouldn't. I have now been put on a tarrif I didn't agree too and have additional charges no-one can explain...
But get this..... I have to call back after they have taken the money from my account to get a refund, how is that right?

Most of my issues are sorted now, it was easy, only took me 3hours each day using online chat and 2 hours a week on the phone. I'm being 100% honest about those times too.

Please avoid them. Great deal on paper but not worth the hassle

swapped to vodafone seemed a good deal, they created an account but unable to access it, eventually after 1 hr wait on phone to customer service sorted it. Unable to get speed as promised only 20mbs. Customer service a total joke, unable to understand advisor.
Left after 10days. An utter shambles for broadband.

The broadband speed is random, mostly not what is advertised. WiFi is garbage you need to be within 3 feet to get service. The helpline pretend to help you but they just string you along with, 'i will call you back on...' doesn't happen, and ' we are working to solve your problems and we will open up a case number, etc. Total nonsense. Worst customer service of all time. Avoid!

Well I have had this broadband for over a year now and can make several observations from experience.

The modem is not the most powerful and does not give the greatest coverage but it will just about do. It is easy to install and the base settings are adequate for the uninformed though you can delve and set mac address filtering etc if you wish to make it more difficult for hackers etc.

As a previous Origin and BT customer, I can say the guaranteed speed of Vodafone is a vast improvement over the others. I found with both BT and Origin my speed would be great for a month or so but then would slowly drop to ridiculous levels, then after complaining, it would miraculously come back (even though there was no fault, apparently). I blame vectoring.

With Vodafone my speed, whilst not the 55 as advertised minimum is consistent around 52 and I get a 20% discount because it is not 55. Well 52 is much much better than I ever achieved with either Origin or BT so hats off for that. The reason for the slightly slower speed is not a Vodafone issue, the Openreach fibre to the cabinet lines simply cannot deliver a greater speed, yet.

As for customer service, they have a web system that really works, put an issue there and it is quickly picked and responded to. I have to say I have not needed to contact them myself as the system just works and works well and consistently, I have had the line drop a couple of times over the year but that was on both occasions down to Openreach working on the lines and nothing to do with Vodafone (I live in the sticks and an Openreach van on the horizon usually means my line goes down for about 10 mins), but after that all is well and back working again.

All in all, a really good consistent quality service that does what it says on the tin and I highly recommend it.

Moved to Vodafone from Origin and what a difference. On Origin I was lucky to get 10 - 15 Mb and was told my line would not support anything better.

Swap to Vodafone and I now get 50+ Mbs speeds. OK I don't get their guaranteed 55Mbs but they have taken 15% off my payments till they can get 55 so I am happy.

No dropouts, no slowing just a fast reliable connection. The only possible gripe I have is there modem is not the best and the WIFI coverage is not great but you can use your own modem no problem and setup is easy.

I have nothing but praise for Vodafone, brilliant service on a brilliant system, thank you Vodafone.

Very disappointed with Vodaphone. Having been with Post Office broad band for 8 years I decided to change my provider simply for faster speeds.what a mistake that was.the speeds are ok when it's running but it is constantly dropping out. As I am on the vulnerable list I need a reliable connection mainly for online shopping. Only this morning it dropped 4 times while doing a shopping order missing 3 delivery slots because of having to reconnect. This is my first time with this provider and it will be my last once my contract finishes. This will be the third time I have called them since mid February and I suppose the result will be the same. It will be ok for 2or 3 weeks then the problems will start again

Awful can't wait to leave my contract. Paying for super fast broadband but getting 7.5 Mbps per second only. Can't stream Netflix unless every one and the cat goes into airport mode on their devices. Have had the router replaced twice and been without broadband for upto 2 months. The 'mansplaining' customer service is awful, like having a cervix makes you instantly unable to figure out WPS! can't wait to leave my contract

The WORST ever. Ages to swap, 3MB only. Kept on hold for hours. I mean HOURS. Staff don't know what they're doing but try and be helpful. Promise of call backs never happened. manager escalation never happened. CANCELLED. Will complain to Ofcom. Bad router, failed 3 times in 2 months, had a new one that keeps stopping. Not happy at all

Having read reviews on here, it was with some trepidation I decided to swap from BT Infinity to Vodafone. That said I think all the broadband providers, including BT, have just as bad reviews.
We swapped on 16th June and one month later have now received first bill. I can only recount our experience which has been faultless. I actually can think of nothing whatsoever to criticise. It all happened as it was scheduled to, our speeds are just as good as before, reliability is probably better. The bill was exactly as expected.
We have been Vodafone mobile customers for some years so get the lower rate. Now saving in excess of £400 per annum.
So 10/10, thank you Vodafone you got it right for us

Vodaphone broadband has a very patchy signal. Great when working, but regularly loses signal for extended lengths of time. I tried contacting vodaphone a couple of times, but all they did was try to sell me a more expensive package.
When I came to cancel my broadband due to moving house, they stung me for a £29 cancellation fee, in spite of my protestations.
Avoid vodaphone broadband. In my opinion they are a disgrace.

I've had 2 new routers in the last few months. My internet has gone down several times in the last week. I've contacted support every time and although they are helpful the service keeps going down. Their support is based in India so their standard of English isn't great which is a bit frustrating. Poor value for money. Wouldn't recommend.

They were initially scheduled to set up my broadband on Friday, between 13:00 and 18:00. However, the engineer contacted me and offered to do the installation today, considering Monday is a bank holiday. Later, I received a text notifying me that they rescheduled my appointment for the following Friday, over a week away.

It's logical that if they couldn't fulfill their commitment on Friday, they should prioritize the first available slot on the next working day. The decision to move my appointment a week later is perplexing. Despite calling them more than 20 times and explaining the situation, it seems they are not comprehending my concerns. They appear unwilling to take responsibility, failing to recognize the significance of internet connectivity for people working from home.

Regrettably, I've encountered similar issues with Vodafone in the Netherlands. It's frustrating to have trusted them again in the UK, only to face similar disappointment. I certainly wouldn't recommend their services, not even to my adversaries.

We've tried most ISPs over the years (TalkTalk, Sky, EE, BT and now Vodafone, and we have had by far the best experience with Vodafone. The most important issue for us was internet speed, (particularly upload) as we upload videos to YouTube as Kiducation UK. We had major issues with BT at our current address - even on fibre the best we could get was 20Mb/s download and 0.4Mb/s upload, meaning 10 minute videos had to be uploaded overnight. BT insisted that this was due to the cable from the exchange to our premises, and that those were the best speeds we WEre going to get as all the other providers available to us use Openreach infrastructure (we live in an area where Virgin Media is not available).

We switched away from BT to Vodafone due to the horrendous customer service, not expecting anything in the way of improvement in speed given what the engineers and advisers at BT has told us. We were shocked when the engineer arrived and plugged us in to 30Mb/s download, 6Mb/s upload, Vodafone fibre. This has been a massive improvement, and allows us to consider some opportunities that we thought would not be available to us (online tutoring for example) due to poor upload speed.

Please do not fall into the trap of assuming that BT will give you better service because BT Group owns several of the other providers (EE, Plusnet) and also the phone lines via Openreach. For us this was not the case, and we get much better speeds from Vodafone despite the fact that they utilise some of the Openreach infrastructure. The customer service provided by Vodafone has restored some of our faith in ISPs after terrible experiences with BT - it got to the point where we had to record all calls with BT customer support to prove what had been said previously, after BT reps "couldn't find a record of that conversation on their system'.

    TL;DR
Speeds much better than BT for us
Customer service faultless so far, infinitely better than BT

Genuinely the most frustrating 18 months of my life. From the day I received the "Superfast 2" package (up to 63mbps) I only got 25-28mbps at best (55mbps "sync speed", 0.1mbps above my guaranteed speed - convenient!). The router they give you is awful, I live in a small home with ~10 devices (mainly smart home stuff), and the router fell over every single day for 10 months straight (on and off again to fix it). Their customer service refused to send a new router, and claimed to have changed settings remotely whenever I contacted them, which did absolutely nothing. After 10 months of moaning, my contract came to an end and I joined BT - Day one, 53mbps, strong connection everywhere and a happy and relieved customer. Vodafone even cut my broadband off completely for the last 3 days of my contract, and no matter who I spoke to it never got resolved. An absolute joke of a company focused purely on profit margins. Phone contract got cancelled too. Don't waste your money.

If you’re considering Vodafone as a provider I’m begging you to please re consider. They’re the worst provider I have ever been with. My broadband cuts out every day without fail. And customer service are useless the 7th phone call, promises, setting changers, engineer who didn’t turn up after waiting in all day. And a promise phone calls back in afew days which didn’t happen. and my internet is still absolutely ridiculously poor. And because it over 14days I can’t cancel.

I'm a civil servant, the Vodafone home broadband has been next to useless for the last three years; during the Covid lockdown, as a key worker I was having to go in a special office fifty miles from home on a daily basis because working at home was virtually impossible, the speed and reliability are appalling, Send and Receive bobble between zero and typically around 200Kbps (yes, not even 1Mbps). Government IT specialists conducted diagnostic tests for me and found that the signal is both weak and dropping out. As I'm now moving house, I cannot even be bothered to argue anymore with Vodafone but I would never sign up with them in my new house and would not recommend them to anybody.

Avoid at any cost. I switched from BT in August. I've been previously with Sky. last 3 years there were no issues with speed or connectivity. ever since I Switched to Vodafone, there is no reliable connection nor the speed promised. There are a few people working in the company who don't know anything about how to fix a problem. It's 4.5 months and still no resolution. I reached out for cancellation and they want me to pay early termination fees. This is ridiculous. they promised 24 hours and 48 hours for a resolution and the guys do not leave any note on the account. Next time repeat all the story again and go in circles.
it's such a pathetic and horrible experience I ever had. It's a shame for Vodafone to be operating like this and treating it's customers so badly. UNBELIEVABLE they still have licence to give broadband service. It's a shame.
