    Just ahhahahahhaha 8 times its stopped playing a song on u tube and sky you no when we are not using you turn off as i carnt sleep and every night from 2am to 6am its offf your bad an im switching enoughs enough you mays well where white and black stripped jumpers.

    Very poor. Only ordinary broadband available in my area. Started with around 3mb and now down to 1mb when actually working.

    Recently fibre has been made available in my area, call me cynical but has my service purposefully been slowed?

    Sky's online broadband checker isn't working for me. Their response once I got through was to suggest I upgrade... At an upfront one off payment of £50 and the obvious increase in service charge.

    I've moved to BT. Sky will not be getting our custom again.

    Have been trying actually speak to someone about my Increasing Sky Bill. Being the only user at the address. I was told that "amazing discounts" have been offered. Never saw any, this was in July 1917 apparently. My friend also Sky also never saw these.

    Worst WiFi I’ve ever experienced it only works when sitting in the room it’s in and it’s still slow and the advert saying it can be reached all over the house is rubbish! Don’t recommend!

    What a load of rubbish sky broadband is and that my sky app is a load of turd as well the Amount of messages I leave to no one getting back to me is a joke had enough of sky will be leaving ,any other company can't be as bad as this surley ,time for a change

    I never experienced the 10mbps speed or even near it dl speeds that is part of the contract, apparently the speed in our area average is atleast 400-600kbps (do the maths).. first month was dreadful as we got our connection cut off for 1 week.. there after connection was pretty much unstable.. the 1 star is for the customer service.. not the actual boradband service

    Ive been with sky for years and not really had many issues with them till the area had a nasty thunderstorm. We lost our phone and internet. I phoned them and they on Saturday morning and they said it would be repaied on the Monday, it wasnt. I sat on my mobile for over an hour Monday evrning waiting for the next supervisor and they cut me off before I said a word. So another hour plus waiting in the que and finally I got someone. They said my repair is a complex one, I didnt beleive them. they said I could take I was all ready in the process if leaving sky so I guess because Im leaving Sky they dont care. Th up yo a week to do the repair. Tanks Sky Ive given you many years of loyal service and because Im moving to EE because they are £25 cheaper you cant be bothered to reconect my phone and broardband. Thats poor loyalty for you.

    Avoid at all costs. Slow internet, always cuts out, not reliable. Its taken me 3 days on facebook chat and still waiting for them to resolve my situation. You are constantly being transferred over to different departments on chat. Expect next day replies, then you have to start all over again. Disgusting service, skys slogan is believe in better, thats right Ill take my money elsewhere.

    They wouldn’t get WiFi this bad in 3rd world countries. Honestly don’t know where to start. Upgraded to sky fibre and since then it basically hasn’t worked. You call sky to help and they just run the same tests that say on their end it says it’s ‘stable’. Well if stable means your WiFi regularly switching off throughout the day and it being near impossible to play online without lagging, then boy it’s very stable. I honestly wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. The WiFi in a bar in Thailand had better connection, at least I could receive WhatsApp messages there. Never actually left a review in my life before this one cause I normally just think there’s a few people that have too much time on their hands, but seriously this broadband is so bad I’ve actually decided to write a review. Please do yourself a favour and stay as far away from this horrendous broadband as possible.

    Very DISAPPOINTED with SKY, rip off, all they want is to take your money. Apparently the contracted ended 9 months ago no one got in touch n they have been taking £70 a month from my mum when the initial contract was £30. I spoke to the customer service guy he had no answers for my question apart from you are not getting no refund. Pure Robbery, slow broadband on top of that. ADVISE your friends and family to stay away from them, it's not worth the hassle.

    For a few years Sky is going down worst is broadband getting connection to connect to the internet after hour disconnected it's a day or two get a connection .Have to reset if that doesn't get you connected try wireless button front of Hub might work randomly so I had a connection through Vaio manager one evening for hour or two felt pleased done what I connected to do having paying for unlimited broadband might as well go limited disconnect computer .I was with Sky talk supported the person had to go off show my match for security reasons waited online within half an hour waiting I fell asleep .When I had awaken 8.50 message was left me contact Sky in the morning I look to see the time message was written 8.45 .Next day I will persevere see if I can make a connection might even buy ethernet cable used the cable that was inside box when I received Hub .I would had like to go wireless never always possible last year now vertically impossible .Reset all connections having left every tool disconnected hour or more ,double checked the Sky book of setting instructions pretty much very easy re -connecting telephone ,the hub with leads in hub package and separately connecting to new filter .My phone ,tablets work fine I I'm thinking Windows 7 Premium it's so old not able make certain connection to connect .I have made it on the net about 3days on off fed up days not able acheive set up .Strange after exiting for the night ,next day I was quite exited cos I found myself working on the internet I made it wasn't be .Wonder if I stayed put on the internet 24hrs would've stayed connected .Really stressed out .I couldn't get support from computer companies as no internet connection hadn't ever thought this I know now .Looking forward for your earliest reply .With kind regards

    installation was meant to be 19062017 in actual fact was 26072018,in this time two children studying for a'levels and mock exams clocked up £112 worth of additional data on phones for revision.SKY as gesture of so called goodwill refunded twenty ponds activation fee.Uunder no circumstances do sky or bt open reach take any responsibility for additional charges incurred by my family due to their inability to supply services when agreed bear in mind that you no longer have services from previous internet service provider.DO NOT USE SKY THEY WILL TEST YOU TO THE LIMIT AND SIMPLY HIDE BEHIND CONTRACTS THEY ARE NOT WORTHY OF YOUR BUSINESS .The biggest thing to bear in mind is this just because they are a big company doesn't make them the best as this case highlights they have become too big to care .

    Shocking WiFi you can only connect 1 Device with no lag at all not worth buying please don’t waste your money!!!
    And it’s the slowest WiFi I have ever had and want to sort it out! Please up level it sky!

    I’ve never hated a WiFi so much in the entirety of my life, in fact I’m using my mobile data to write this. Countless hours of complete and utter **** WiFi is driving me crazy, paying for sky fibre too which is meant to be the substitute for the original **** of a broadband system. Definitely cancelling soon and using another broadband, most stressful time due to this appalling WiFi

    Will never use sky again. Overpriced con you into your contact adding 18 months everytime you get a cinema oor sports. They up your bill and you cant do anything. The eifi is shocking. And to apeak to someone is like getting blood feom a stone

    Very pathetic service provided for home move. They do not understand what the problem is and constantly send an engineer who says that it’s not his job to do. Customer service people also do not have any clue. One and half month completed from the time home move service has been initiated, still problem is not resolved..

    AVOID!!!!!!!! Extended my contract without asking to higher amount when there was a fault with their equipment, triedto charge me for new equipment even though it was a fault with their equipment, do not investigate complaints, intermittent internet connection, first time I’ve ever had iplayer repeat certain sections of a programme due to poor broadband, so much buffering. Don’t go there, anywhere else is better.

    Awful, avoid! The connection drops several times a day and they cannot fix it (they didn't even want to investigate it properly). The price does not justify the service although I was told by their representative that I had been 'privileged' to pay 'as little' as almost £20 p/m (!) When I heard that I didn't know whether I should laugh or cry... Seriously Sky have some faith in the IQ of your customers. You are not alone on the market. Do some research and compare your prices as well as the reviews you are getting. I've made my decision. Switch to another provider has just been done.

    Terrible. Was with BT and switched to sky because of price. Worst mistake ever. We hardly get a wireless connection. Sky fibre can't connect to mobiles. Try to contact them, wasted 3 hours and got nowhere

    DO NOT PURCHASE SKY BROADBAND !!
    I was a sky customer for 18months I lost count of the amount of calls I made to their customer fault line !
    I would spend on avarge 1 hr each time talking to them and despite dealing with some very polite agents I never had a working full servis from sky .
    I would ring on a weekly basis I had hubs 'sockets ' leads 'changed on more than one occasion but still constant problems '
    I live in a one bedroom flat and never had a signal strong enough even to connect my phone to 10 feet away
    Never offered any form of compensation just more bull !!!
    I only wish I had read the reviews before
    You would think sky would offer a better servis rather than misleading their customers with constant lies about how all their other customers are happy
    Total rubbish looking at the reviews

    Awful. Just awful. Regularly experiencing speeds of 0.03mbps. They send engineers out and they say there's no problem with my lines. I've had all phone lines replaced in my property as a result of Sky's incompetency.
    The only positive thing I would say is that they offered me this crappy service for the low price £18 a month.
    I have never had the 17mpbs advertised - not once. Highest speed I've had was around 7mpbs, significantly lower than advertised.
    My advice? Avoid at all costs if you actually want to use your internet.

    Awfull experience
    I sign a contract because I was recommended by a friend, however my experience has been absolutely awful . I booked the engineer to installed the broadband and they never show up, on the same date they send me the new bill even though the service was not installed and not communication at all from sky. I call them a week after to find out that the appointment has been reschedule for a day I won't be at home. The customer service that I received was very poor none of the advisor could explain what happened and the funny thing they want mw to make appointment but there is not 100% guarantee the engineer will come for the appointment to install your service.

    When I had a sky broadband contract I was getting a download speed of approx 13mbps and an upload speed of .75...then when my contract was up it dropped to 2/5mbps and upload of .2/.35 ???? strange that! I have noticed in previous years exactly the same would happen. I contacted Sky who said there was a problem on the line and they would send an OpenReach engineer out, I stated clearly that I would not be put automatically into a new contract if they sent someone out. The engineer arrived two days later and proceeded to check the router, phone system and line....guess what? nothing wrong at all, when I told him of my suspicions about Sky dropping the broadband speed to get me into another contract he didn't confirm it but said "you need to be having a word with Sky again"... so all infall the ******** are dropping peoples download speed to get them into another contract!!! I live about half a mile from the exchange so they cannot use that excuse; I am now swapping provider who tested my line and said I would get 76mbps and 28mbps upload...guaranteed 65mbps and 20mbps upload respectively !! I would have given sky 0 in all areas but one star was the minimum, I will never ever use Sky again..too big to fall Eh?.

    Where to start my connection constantly drops out everyday im sat bassicaly on top of the sky router and still cant get connected ive had a new line new box and still drops out ive rang customer service god nos how many times but all they do is a line test but no real help if i could give a zero i would and they still want the full amount of money for it so im leaving and i wouldnt recommend sky to anyone absolutely disgusting service

    I have no satellite signal for about a month and have spoken to customer services on a number of occasions. They are the most unhelpful people ever. They won’t send an engineer. And they say I should sort it out myself with my managing agents. I am so so frustrated with them. I want to cancel my subscription. They are a total waste of time. Taking your money but I get nothing for it.

    The WiFi is horrible it's basically like you don't have WiFi at all at times do NOT get sky it sucks and you get slow WiFi like 1-2 bars it's horrible and a scam. One of the worst WiFi ever you could get better WiFi signal at McDonald's using the McDonald's WiFi.

    Just upgraded to fibre max, and the speed is no where near the estimated. A little bit off, fair enough, but not even close (about half the speed). Tried using the text support - quite ironic that the initial response is along the lines of 'so you can get on with your day', what they dont tell you is everytime you get passed to someone else, you have to start from scratch....if it goes into another day, you have to start from scratch.....even worse when they say they'll get back to you and dont...when you raise that they didn't get back, they say there system can see a message was sent....a message asking you to rate satisfaction is not the same as an actual response. During one of the conversations, when they found that an Xbox was connected to broadband, the adviser mentioned that downloads speeds are often restricted by Microsoft....I wasn't commenting on speed on there, so really dont see the relevance here. I'm looking to move as I'm in cooling off period soon, and would not recommend

    They have delayed installation 8 times so far. Their customer service is atrocious and I have been told I'm lucky to get Broadband at all (after I got irritated that they delayed installation by a further 4 months). I have switched from them.

    Well where do you start a very poor service, which is difficult to speak to someone who really knows what they are doing constantly getting fobbed off with lame excuses, and of course SKY constantly inflating the internet speed< hey sky we are not stupid we can see what your doing the trouble is this country is so weak know one has the balls to take action, lots of useless MPS sitting around doing nothing positive.

    I join Sky July 2017 and scheme was £60 or £75 voucher you will get after few days then I called sky customer service and I explain about the deal I signup and said you will received within 28 days by post I wait and nothing get it then I called then again same explanation and I did call customer service to cancel my subscription and to know more about voucher which is I haven’t had they said you signup with third party so you have to deal with them.. such nice lie to increase more customer !!!!!! RIP

    UNBELIEVABLY POOR

    Sky broadband is so extremely bad, that I couldn't even load the SKY webpage to run the Sky broadband speed test. Do I need to say anymore?

    So, I tried to visit the Virgin Media website, as I want to change provider, but it won't load that either.

    DON'T BUY SKY BROADBAND.

    To be fair, the Sky TV package is very good. But, broadband is worse than dial up.

    I can’t believe how rubbish the broadband service is from sky slow unreliable and the worst customer service In the universe
    I have just changed to zen. The speed is fantastic no boosters needed. I needed 5 with sky just get it limping around the house the service from zen puts sky to shame you can spend days trying just make some type of contact and they really don’t know what they are doing or saying thank god I got shot of sky my broadband is now truly super fast please do yourself a big favour do not buy sky broadband !!!!!

    Absolutely atrocious. Speeds are around 8X slower than other companies with connection being terrible. I would recommend any other company and definatly avoid Sky

    Do not bothere going through the pain of trying to get this wifi to work as it just won't happen. Sky is so overrated. The connection if horrible, 95% of the time it doesn't give you any connection, my wifi bar is ALWAYS on just 1 bar. No matter whether your stood right next to the sky box or in the next room, it never works. It took me about 30 minutes just to get the wifi to work to get to write this review, it took me literally 16 minutes just to send 1 message. Not to mention how the connection always disconnects by its self, and then I have to go through typing the passwords all again. I do NOT recommend

    Absolutely shocking customer service. Am moving home and called through on Sunday, 3rd June about my Sky broadband and what would happen about moving to a new property who were about to install Sky. Was told that if the new property was going onto Sky, that my contract could be cancelled with no early termination charges even though I was still in contract. Confirmed twice with the customer services operator Paul and he stated that was correct. Well that was an utter lie apparently, as when I called today to cancel my Sky contract as the new property is now with Sky, was told I was liable for £58 cancellation fee. If I had known, we wouldn't have got Sky installed last week (had already arranged the engineer). Utterly shocking that customers are told one thing and when they take it at face value are hit with a significant charge later. Won't be recommending Sky to anyone! Such bad customer advice!
