    Swtiched from BT, good but expensive.

    Router regularly reboots. Connection drops on broadbancd both wired and wireless.

    Pages very slow to load yet somehow it does OK on speed tests.
    Customer service very poor.

    But worst of all I am not allowed to get Vodafone mobile phone contract via any third party whilst I have BB with them.

    I had Vodafone broadband for two years and my speed averaged between 6-10 Mb in download and 1-0.5 in Upload, and an average of 10-20 drops of the line of 1 minute each every day. I had 8 engineers coming trying to fix the speed and constant drops but nobody managed to solve the problem. So overall this by far my worst broadband I ever had. I also tried to apply for the 15% discount through the App, but like the staircase that leads to nowhere, the same happened to my claim. I'll make sure to tell everyone how awful Vodafone broadband is.

    Joined Vodafone a few years ago with their super fast 2 service and am now experiencing diabolically slow lin speeds has low as 9mbps. Told to test in safe mode.no difference. Told to use lan connection. No difference. Been contacted three times. Repeat above three times. I want out and fed up with being treated as a liar. Will complain to Ofcom.

    VERY UNRELIABLE BROADBAND KEEP BREAKING UP now 7 days with no internet after each call they promised it will work with in 48 hours but never avoid them

    I upgraded to fibre on January 10th2024, the openreach engineer assured me it will be up and running by midnight that day. It never worked. I spent hours yes hours to the Vodafone call centre (which is in Egypt now) who passed me from department to department with every excuse you can imagine. After two weeks of false promises and lies I cancelled my contract. I cannot claim compensation due to me cancelling my contract, if I ran over my two week cooling off period I would have been charged £113.00. Terrible service, no one seems to care. My mobile phone contract ends in March and guess what, yep I’m moving that too. Avoid Vodafone broadband like the plague worst service ever.

    Have had a very reliable BT connection for the past 3 years but moved from them as there is now competition in my area and the price is more than £45 a month in savings.

    Vodafone service however is noticeably less reliable and slower although it shouldn't be. I use my own router rather than BT or Vodafone so service in theory should have been the same.

    Logged a call with Vodafone Customer Support on day one to get a static ip address that sales said should not be an issue - 2 months later - 15+ calls and emails, texts and twitter and still the case has not been resolved - it's like groundhog day when you contact support - there's zero continuity or follow-up.

    Guessing VF have outsourced this business and they get measured on volume of calls? Please avoid these folks as they're just not fit-for-purpose.

    Absolutely shocking how often the connection to the internet drops out. The router is useless and arbitrarily decides to block certain streaming apps on the TV until you restart the router.

    Connection issues are getting more and more frequent. Used to notice it once or twice a month, now it's multiple times a day. "UKs most reliable network"? Utter rubbish.

    Customer service is an utter joke, if you do get through to someone they're just reading off a script (not blaming them, it's not their fault they're not given any ability to get anything done), they're basically an answering service.

    Price has gone up by 20% of what we were originally paying. Fortunately we're out of contact now and moving to another provider. Won't be partaking of their services again.

    Just rubbish. Internet cuts out every hour or so for a few minutes and they insist it's not their fault. Changed provider and the problem was miraculously fixed.

    Awful, don't waste your time! We switched from BT to Vodafone after a good offer was emailed to me because I am a Vodafone mobile customer. After 2 weeks, I had still not received a router so I had to call up to find out what was going on. They offered to send another one out or I could go into a Vodafone store and pick it up, which I thought would be the best option to ensure I get it on time as my 'go live' date was now only a few days away. Went into Vodafone store to collect it only to find the staff in there could not authorise and activate the router. They had to call customer service and after waiting 30 minutes for them to get through to someone I walked out as I had wasted enough time with this already. I called up to cancel the deal as I was no longer interested in going with Vodafone after this. However a few days later I was still receiving emails and texts from Vodafone telling me my service will be activated soon! I phoned up yet again to establish if the service had been cancelled. They assured me it has however the next day I signed up with Plusnet and they sent me a message telling me they could not complete the order because Vodafone still have a stop on the line! Just unbelievable and really wish I had not gone with Vodafone. Needless to say, I will be also cancelling my vodafone mobile contract because of this.

    I don't normally write reviews but here goes..AVOID at all cost! Appalling customer service and they lied about Internet speeds, my rights, options for switching, cooling off period and they were generally unpleasant and unhelpful. Please do not consider taking out broadband with them

    I have never had a good internet connection. I am currently with Vodafone and my connection has got a lot worse over the last few weeks. Today my speed is about 9.6Mbs. It has been as low as 7 or 8Mbs. At peak times I cannot get on the internet at all. Even when I make a connection, I am often timed out because the server does not respond quickly enough. Vodafone have tried to help me, but no lasting improvements have been made.

    Just tried ringing Vodaphone on their 0333 number. Was holding for 27 minutes listening to recoded messages & music before actually speaking to anyone. Then, when I did speak to Customer Service I just could not understand her! I gave up in the end.

    Constant dropouts since signing up in November. Naively allowed them to arrange an engineer and send a new router, went over the cooling off period and now stuck with them for 16 more months. Loses connection for a few minutes about once an hour, disrupts our streaming and working remotely from home, and the boys' gaming. Much happier with Sky before them, slower but almost never suffered dropouts. A shame as I really rate them as mobile phone providers, been with them 16 years.

    Vodaphone broadband rates highly in testing your level of sanity and frustration!
    I was left without broadband for 13 days, each time I called I was promised It would be fixed within 24 hours. Each time I contacted the team I spent 40 minutes trying to resolve the issue. Their approach seemed to be was to blame the last person who I dealt with! During a time when we are all working from home - 13 days is unacceptable to be without internet! I was given 4 different fault reasons to which it ended up being something completely different! The complaints department were not interested in the suggestions I was making in order to improve their customer service. I had to argue to get my 13 days refunded to me - on another 30 minute phone call.
    Come on vodaphone you need to change! This service is not acceptable!

    Moved to Vodafone from Talktalk just over a month ago, loads of issues since when for years I had no issues. Previously got 43Mbps consistent every day and when I joined Vodafone it went up to 50Mbps all speedtest verified. After the 14 day grace period was up my speed fell to 21Mbps as proven by their own app, they sent a engineer out to fix it and he did a good job and the speed went back up to 50Mbps

    That is until a couple days ago when the speed went down to 32.5Mbps and it stays at 32.5Mbps, I complained again as I am on superfast 2 and guaranteed 55Mbps or a discount, they said that there is nothing wrong with my speed as openreach confirms a minimum speed of 31 to my area, they also say that they are not throttling my connection

    I think its clear they are throttling my connection and trying to use a BT guarantee as a way to do it, entice customers in with good prices and high speeds and then hope they don't notice or lack the tech brain to know the speed has dropped and they wait until after your contract grace period has gone to do it

    I have just changed to Vodafone and what I have experienced so far is nothing short of appalling. I cannot connect to Wi-Fi on any devises. I work from home and it is absolutely useless. I have contacted Vodafone and have been given free data and told an engineer would come out. The service is terrible. I was told to download there app. Every time you try to connect to Wi-Fi nothing works. I have Netflix on TV and it cannot connect to that either. What's the point in paying for broadband if no service?

    SHOCKING AND FRUSTRATING BROADBAND SERVICE. I would not advise anyone to subscribe to or purchase any Vodafone services. Especially Vodafone Broadband products. I have been a loyal customer with Vodafone for years now and since starting a new contract with them a month ago I have spent hours on the phone to their tech team with little or no long term solutions. 1. My router line was not connected to my router on installation, hour or so on Phone to tech team . 2. My devices that connected to my old voda router do not automatically connect. Still not working properly 3. I am told different things when when speaking to advisors. 4. I have been promised a call back by their service agent and had no such call or feedback on my ongoing complaint that has been pending for some weeks now. 5. The broadband app does not always work and is currently offline for me.
    6. I cannot chat to anyone as they are too busy for me. Probably inundated with complaints. Bottom line, thoroughly unimpressed and have requested a cancellation immediately. I will not waste any more time or money with them. (I never normally vent on social media but people need to be made aware that this company will over promise and massively underdeliver). Save yourself grief, vodafone have not shown me they care about me as a customer.

    Our broadband with Vodafone has been average at best. Even though we were guaranteed 40mbps it drops out just watching catch up tv.
    Customer service is really appalling. I've made a formal complaint and asked to be called back but nothing from them.Try calling them and all you'll get is " Sorry for the delay We're really busy right now".

    This broadband is the most useless thing i have ever experienced. I live in the country side so my internet speed it anywhere from 8mbps to 15mbps so not great. However this isn't the issue as it is the same for most providers, the issue is that their router is god awful. I have had issues since day 1 where the router would disconnect from the internet for no reason. after a lot of telephone calls and new routers we were informed by Vodafone that our router disconnects from the internet after it has done a certain amount of downloads. I may be wrong but isn't it its job to download to receive downloads and uploads. So their router decides to STOP WORKING WHEN IT DECIDES IT HAS HAD ENOUGH. They had no way to fix this. NEVER USE THEM! To be honest they don't deserve any stars at all but unfortunately that isn't an option.

    Zero stars. I don’t know where to start. Poor internet quality, engineers that didn’t show up (twice) requested to cancel which was ignored- actually set me up with a new activation date instead! All this plus call centres in a non English speaking country. Extremely poor! Avoid like the plague.

    Worst Customer Service Ever, and you are not allowed to terminate your yearly contract! Avoid using Vodafone at all cost!

    I called them to give notice to terminate my broadband service at a specific date and was told that I cannot do that and will need to call back on the exact 30th day before the contract end date. After that, without listening to my request, they terminated my contract on an earlier date and put an early termination charge on my account. Their customer service team doesn’t listen to their customer’s request at all and they even hung up on me when I still haven’t finished asking the question. Poor service was provided in general.

    Another thing is that they only have very limited number of staffs at the call center which means you have to hold the line and listen to some bad taste music for so long before you can speak to an actual person. You thought you may ask them some questions through the online chat but then nothing can be done and you will have to keep calling back to that telephone number and hold the line for terribly long.

    Absolute worst company for reliability and customer service - I've been without broadband 3 times in my 18 month contract with them, all for over 7 days at a time. Phone staff know absolutely nothing and always give conflicting info. DO NOT USE!!!!

    Oh why didn’t I listen to you guys and all the bad reviews online!!! Biggest mistake ever.
    Switched from TalkTalk to Vodafone as I have my mobile plan with them also and they let me down big time. 4 day past my activation date and I still don’t have live internet. They keep pointing fingers to Opeanreach even tho openreach was at my house and said line is active and live, and the phone works. Vodafone keep saying another day another day and they obviously lied. Stay away save yourself alot of hassle. I can’t believe London 2020 and we can’t get decent internet/ service what a joke!!

    Absolutely terrible service from Vodafone from start to finish.
    Switched to Vodafone broadband and selected an installation date. A few days later get an email with a different date for installation that has been given to me without checking.

    I can't do the date so call and request original date.

    Nothing happens for three days. So I call back to be told original date is unavailable. So agree a second date.

    Called back next date to be told second date isn't possible and offered new installation date 12 days after original selected date.

    So I cancelled the whole thing. And you'd think that would be the end of it. Receive a text saying I've cancelled. And then emails about services I've added... And a bill.
    The bill is for services before the installation date.....

    What a bunch of idiots.

    I asked for my router to be placed upstairs but engineer insisted I would get a good signal in all areas and put it downstairs. Always strong downstairs and weak upstairs. Am now changing provider as no effort to resolve this from Vodafone.

    I think you’ll struggle to find something worse than this, unless you tie a piece of wet string to the local Openreach box and hope for the best. We had the best package on offer, we can only use broadband and Internet if we’re in the same room as the router, and the idea of watching a film is ridiculous. After three direct calls speaking to someone different at Vodafone, each one lied about what they intended to do next because nothing happened, this was over a period of four weeks the closest we got was someone who sent us a wireless transmitter, however that didn’t work. Probably because it relies on a working router.
    I’m fairly certain that had they complied with my first request which was “Can we have a new router please?” the problem would be resolved. But no, we have to take it the difficult route instead, so on this basis I’m so glad I’m leaving tomorrow!

    Speed is below that advertised. I contacted them and did get some money off monthly bill. How very now internet drops out constantly. Both WiFi and ethernet connection. Have contacted them 4 times and still no answers. Just a 48 hour line test each time then no news from Vodafone.

    I have been with Vodafone broadband for over 18months,tied into a contract. I would definitely not recommend this service to anyone the service has been appalling with supply dropping in and out constantly.The helpline service was time consuming and not at all helpful unable to resolve any problems.A very poor service all round.

    Appalling service, they promised the internet service to start on the 4th of April, then due to an unknown fault they delayed it until the 13th. However we could not use Internet until several calls in the 14th. Compensation? £15 and a very arrogant manager called Robert with no manners irle customer service skills...

    switched from post office to vodafone , a few months ago , i spend most of my time on 4g when home as the broadband is shocking, always dropping out and buffering , when my son comes he cant play games on his phone as the internet is constantly cutting out , rang customer services who told me to download the app and switch channels , did this still rubbish, i just want to use my broadband which im paying good money for, i would not use this broadband again once my contract runs out , very poor

    Worst internet ever. I literally do not even know how Vodafone is even allowed to have a broadband. Spent 30 minutes trying to load things up. Games I download that only take around an hour takes a day to download. Simply unreliable, the speed is extremely slow I do not recommend Vodafone. Customer Service is okay I guess but they end up never helping. Any recommendations?
