DONT sign up with these con men you won’t get the service of dial up. Let alone board band. We have had no service all weekend and have been told to go to a website that doesn’t exist. |

We waited 2 weeks without Internet for them to install only for them to tell us they couldn't serve our location (despite us checking our postcode initially and Origin saying they could!) So then we were back to square 1. |

DO NOT USE THEM. If you sign with them let's hope you do not need to be moved to a woman's safe house in an area they don't cover. They will still charge you a cancellation fee despite you legally not having to. They have also continued to take unauthorised payments leaving me an my son in a tricky situation by having to pay for 2 broadband services. I am currently waiting to take them to court. DO NOT USE THEM |

I have been a customer for many years with Origin, joining over 6years ago or something when they were a small company. They used to be incredible, with amazing speeds and stability, and constant technical support that worked hard to solve issues. |

Absolutely do not go with Origin Broadband provider. They provide an awful service & were completely unsympathetic to the fact that I wanted to terminate/cancel my contract due to a change in personal circumstances (I had to move to care for my father who had terminal cancer and passed away in a very short period of time). In order to cancel the service I had to pay the full amount for the year. Yet ironically they couldn't even honour the go live date which was delayed and required constant chasing on my part. When calling their customer service they won't even let me talk to their manager, even though I am taking the effort to call them whilst grieving the loss of my father. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. |

Overall my experience with origin has not been made clear, as I originally called talktalk for broadband and they passed me onto origin without explaining it is a different service provider then I wanted, also the wife is terribly slow and cuts in out out constantly. I tried to call today to cancel as I was told I had a cancellation period in which I could still cancel my contract, but upon speaking to customer service i was then told that such cancellation does not exist and i have to pay for the whole 18 month contract period which came up to around £300. I've never heard of anything so ludicrous as this. I haven't even had the origin wif box longer then a week and today was the first day I was even able to use it for a little bit before it cut our again !!!! So disappointed and frustrated with this service and I wont STOP until this is corrected. They tried to take advantage of me due to my age as I am a senior citizen and a key worker and saddened by this overall experience. |

Total scum would be the nicest thing I could say about these clowns. Didn't provide me with a service, wouldn't listen to anything I said but want me to pay £233 to leave when I got nothing from them. They try to intimidate you into paying and I'd say they do it a lot. |

Broadband fitted yesterday it’s not working I have to turn off broadband to use my phone I phoned customer service for hours to speak to 4 people put me through to technical support and he tells me I have to go to Apple to get my phones sorted this has never happened in all the years of use broadband I cancelled and they say they’re going to charge me for everything they said the cancellation notice starts from when you order the broadband not when you receive it the people I dealt with was very polite and courteous and helpful but they could not do anything for me I have to go to Apple to get it sorted I recommend not to use this company |

Terrible experience. Decided to leave Sky and try a cheaper provider - Origin. 4 months later summoned with a £200 exit fee despite them providing little customer service after logging numerous calls for persistent dropped calls. I went to the expense of purchasing a booster..as they advised...no improvement. They failed to get in touch at all after about our 3rd call to book a visit. I decided I just needed to leave the company after they failed to get in touch to arrange an engineers visit. The initial sales guy was lovely and helpful (no surprise there). What an absolute joke of a company. During lockdown I have daily calls with my team and I was always the one to loose connection every single day. So I would disappear for 10 minutes...come back...and hope for the best. Extremely stressful when you are busy at work. Cowboys at their best. |

Writing this review on behalf of my elderly parents. Awful Customer Service. My parents have had not internet for 2 days are quite stressed and need to book appointments. They and I have been trying to call their customer service and not being able to get through. I tried to contact on their online chat on their behalf but it is just an automated message, waited and waited, never put me through to anyone. Awful company, avoid. |

From first day all the time disconnecting, minimum 20 times per day, so it was I have internet paying but can't even use it. So now just gonna finish pay for 4months what's left on my contract and that's it. Why absolutely should someone pay for internet like that.....finally I have new BT internet |

Dont touch this company if you have any sense. I cancelled my old provider and rang these clowns who told me I could keep my old number I've had for around 10 years. I give them a month to get it all sorted before my business reopened due to covid but 2 days before opening I had to ring them a number of times before being told I no longer had my old number and I couldnt have it. 2 days before I could get a so called manager to ring and talk crap. Day of opening no phone line no internet for card machine so losing a lot of money through this clown company. Told on friday theres a fault with your line now we need to get an engineer by Tuesday, today is wednesday still no phone or internet. Trying to get through now to cancel everything. Bunch of amateurs |

I made a complaint as the wifi service provided is shocking. It drops out constantly and because I work at home teaching remotely it is the most frustrating thing. Constant buffering, I paid for the basic which looked reasonable but I get a max of 4mbps which is terrible. My complaint has not been responded to. I wanted to be released from my contract given that I had a service I couldn't use properly. They wanted to charge me. I am so stressed and so unhappy. I will say that the telephone team themselves are pleasant and mostly try to help. Though the consensus was "you get what you get" for some of them. Dissapointed is an understatement. |

signed up for the basic option two years ago, and it was fine as long as I didn't use more than 3 or 4 devices, but the problems started as soon as I upgraded to the next tariff up three-months ago. Since then it's been unusable, cuts out for hours on end, I've tried liaising with Origin, hopeless, and finally cancelled my direct debit after three-months. They acknowledge a problem but fail to do anything about it. Customer service is pathetic, and their online chats have delays of over 20 minutes between messages; hopeless. Good bye Origin, I hope we never meet again!!! |

Router was temperamental, we continuously had problems with it not providing a signal even although the broadband strength that was coming in to the house was fine. Signal was difficult to pick up in various parts of the house, had to buy and install boosters but even so they couldn't always pick up a strong enough signal, real pain when trying to watch Netflix. Handed in my 30 days notice a week after the 18 month contract had expired and they cut me off in error, then refused to reconnect me unless I signed up to a new contract. Called them and raised a complaint, when I hadn't heard back I contacted them again and they didn't have a record of my problem despite 7 phone calls. Bunch of cowboys - avoid at all costs!!! |

If you like Nothing's Going to Stop Us by Starship and Get Lucky by Daft Punk, played through a £1 speaker from Wish, then you'll love holding for this outfit. I have had no internet for over 24 hours, and had to hold for a cumulative total of nearly 3 1/2 hours. The tech team try their best, and are nice kids, but largely ineffective. I am back on now but don't hold out much hope for the coming days |

Cheap. The helpline staff are very good & helpful. I bet they get lots of practice. I was barely able to get connected or stay connected. Watch out for the Anytime Landline charges too. Calls to mobiles are expensive. I got out asap. |

Having been with Origin for 4 years and been happy with the service. It is now turned into a shambles. Now interupted or no internet for 17 days. Promised a new router which hasn't come over a week ago. 16 phone calls later numerous emails to them to discuss the problem. I have now left them. Hope this doesn't happen to anyone else |

This is the 4th review I wrote due to origin not liking what I'm saying about their company because the truth hurts . Avoid at all cost . No Internet for over 46 days no help or compensation..... that had the cheek to say if I wanted to cancel to go elsewhere they was demanding over £300 . In the end spent a total of 9 days ringing them 16emails and over 30 hour on live chat for them not to fix the issue and still on going . Now seeking legal advice. Avoid at all cost or just throw your money down the drain now |

Absolutely fuming i was in and out of hospital so genuinely forgot about this bill they robbed my dads account of his weekly pension and i haven't been able to earn because of covid left us hungry for 10days would not recommend to anyone about as useful as a steak at a veggie bbq |
