Awful. I moved house and it's taken 2 months to try get WiFi to move with me. Sent out engineer who didn't even complete the fitting of WiFi. I then have 4 other dates I have taken of work for engineer to come around and he has not turned up to any of the 4 dates. Not one apology and still being charged when no service being provided. Fuming |

Same problem as others have mentioned on here, paid upfront but still got charged a monthly fee about 6 times and had to chase them to get it back. Cancelled the Direct Debit but they set it up again. Even after I left they kept billing me and even called to chase up the money! |

Having paid for a year's service up front, I have had "bills" for monthly line rental on 6 occasions within a year. Each time, I had to call their helpline (no other contact possibilities given) and wait 20-30 minutes to be told that they'd fix it and it would not happen again. In August, they actually managed to steal £18.095 from me and to date have not paid it back despite me contacting them several times. Actual internet service is fairly fast but had to reboot rooter about once a month when it crashed or the service failed. No outages of more than one hour. |

No service was provided and I was promised a refund for my years broadband paid for in advance. Still waiting after 8 weeks. First it was going to be a cheque but was told had to wait up to four weeks for it to be processed. Next it was going to be a bank transfer that never arrived. |

This company is totally unprofessional and their service is less than satisfactory. My late brother died APril2018 and after numerous emails and presentation of a death certificate they have continued to debit his account for five months after his death they are not a company I would recommend doing business with besides bad service you cannot get rid of them |

The worst “fibre” broadband ever. Constantly being kicked off, the connection is so slow it’s ridiculous. It may be cheap but honestly just pay the extra few quid and go with a better company. I’m 10 months into my sentence now, only 2 months until I can change my broadband supplier. CANNOT WAIT!! Avoid origin like the plague. |

We struggled on with Origin Braodband for 6 months before finally cutting our loses and giving up. Slow speeds, poor reliability, seemingly on desire to improve matters. To cap it all, 2 months after my 12 month up front line rental ended I became aware that they were still charging me for line rental. They refused to refund me claiming I had never informed them I was ending line rental! |

Worst service I’ve ever had, I’m literally the most laid back person but I’ve had to wait 45 days since the original live date was set and still no service, every time I ring up they tell me to do the configuration crap which I’ve done so many times exactly the same thing and obviously same result, any other provider sends someone straight out of problem, still awaiting news on engineer but nothing whilst I’m still paying and being told by there social media team to check this and check that which has been done so many times, I’ve barony so much on mobile data, absolute rip off and should be on watchdogs for scamming people |

We live in the middle on nowhere so speeds will always be slow. I am writing this review because my renewal price was c50% higher and they sent my renewal c 2 weeks before my contract expires, but demand 30 days notice to leave!!! Be careful of them I would say? .... I have found a deal the same as last years so am now happy - just have to pay for the notice period... |

Daily disconnections, sometimes for whole days. Customer service and technical support lines always busy (once spent 2 hours waiting). Had to get updates on service from other users through twitter. After 12 long months waiting for contract to finish, they continued trying to bill me for a further 6 months and demanded I return the router or pay £40 for it (it's hidden in their T&Cs). Avoid like the plague. |

I can't lie, I've had great broadband with origin it's fast enough for me I use between 6 and 10 devices tv, iPad ect.. but this month 2 payments have been taken out not really sure why and I've checked all payments and they have all been paid I know it's not alot of money but it's not a service I want to be paying double for? |

Hand on my heart, the worst broadband I have ever experienced in my life. Not only is it the slowest, but also the most unreliable and inconsistent broadband available. I promise you if you waste your money on this junk you will regret it massively. Minimum 25/30 times a day you will loose all access to the internet, you phone customer services and because you are receiving the download speed you pay for there’s pretty much nothing they can do. I assure you, get this broadband, you’ll regret it. |

A fault was found with my broadband as I have only been receiving 0.2mps download and zero upload . I consulted Origin and went through all the technicalities with them but either intermittent broadband was achieved or none at all . Engineer appointment made over a 3 day period and nobody turned up or phoned . Got in touch with Origin again and apologies all round and appointments made for another 3 day period . Again nobody turns up but did get a phone call which was not convenient at the time so they said they would phone next day . They didn't and you guessed it nobody turned up again . Now been waiting for over 3 weeks for a better service . I appreciate they are cheap but I cannot see how they could charge more for this terrible service. I am out of contract but don't know where to go as all the reviews of other broadband providers are pretty bad . |

AVOID AVOID AVOID ORIGIN at all costs! Try to leave and your stuffed. Will send you a massive bill so cancel any direct debit before you ring them. Charge £40 for the router unless sent back... no other provider does this. They disconnect you from your account portal as soon as you inform them you are changing providers so you're unable to access it to check your bill or personal info. Give you duff information to get you off the phone and make the rules up as they go saying 'someone has just informed me that ...' |

Garbage service, customer support 'hadn't been trained' on the modem they supplied me, modem was supplied with incorrect credentials, had to factory reset and find settings on google, garbage service drops out every twenty minutes. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. |

As a young mum and starting off in my own home with my 3 year old son, I wanted a cheap and realible broadband but since having origin installed into my home I’ve had nothing but problems with the internet. Every time my house phone rang the internet would lose connection and I’ve rang the company several times and I cannot fault the customer service as they’ve always been helpful, but I’ve noticed just recently my internet always looses connection before it’s due to be paid and a few days after. My stepdad is also a customer with origin and after speaking to him and addressing my issues to him about the situation with my broadband he has exactly the same problem. I feel like I’m forever restarting it, I know longer use my house phone and still have the same issue. I also went 3 months without internet it still made payments to the company and when I rang up about this they failed to tell me they recalled the first router as there was problems so then I waited another few days to receive the new router and I do believe it’s just as bad as the first one. I am so used to sorting the issue out myself I no longer have to ring the company to talk me through what I need to do to restart my router. |

Fantastic service! While it isn’t the quickest, the broadband is absolutely ideal for my needs (at such a cheap price too) and I haven’t had any issues with reliability of the service. Customer service is outstanding - really friendly, helpful staff who genuinely care about their customers. |

As soon as I signed up with these clowns my internet speeds were on the low side and suffering from constant outages. Sometimes outages for hours, a few times a week. At other times 1 or 2 minute outages repeating every 5, 10, 15 minutes or so for hours. On average not more than 2 days would go by without some form of sustained outage or multiple, rapid-fire outages. |

Really want to say how pleased I've been with Origin today! My internet connection failed, which is only second time in 12 months.. I am not very good at technical stuff and rang Origin. The girl who answered (Milly) was so very patient with me and talked me through re setting procedures.. I always dread anything going wrong that requires technical help, but Milly put me at ease and helped me through it!! Thank you Milly and Original! |

Appalling. Customer service non existent. Tech support useless. Billing department can't count - always to their advantage. No service for over 6 weeks. No reason given. Speeds should be around 11mbps. Currently 0.14. Seeing other reviews about overcharging, I'm thinking perhaps the fraud squad should be getting involved. Would have given zero stars if possible. |
