Absolutely shocking! Was okay for the first 3 months then there after it’s been so unreliable! Can’t wait until my contact ends in January because I will not be renewing my contract I will be going with someone else!

Moving house and notified them, they strung me along for 3 weeks before telling me they would cancel the contract as they couldn't provide at my new address. I went elsewhere, they then claimed that I hadn't cancelled the contract and that they now could switch to my new address. Spent hours trying to sort it out over the phone and online chat. No compensation for wasting my time and basically called a liar, as they don't record their calls so couldn't clarify the 8 previous conversations I'd had with them. Absolutely awful customer service.

I would leave zero stars for customer service if I could. Trying to find someone to talk to to fix a connection that never went live is near impossible. Website is structured to keep you going round in circles without being able to contact customer service. Online chat doesnt work on phone or a PC. Every support page you try to gain information from has a broken link. I will never use talktalk again even if half the price of others. TV package is awful due to equipment and menu system, its very slow and hard work. We ended up putting the TV box back in the box after a month or so.

Been with Talktalk for a few years and the service has deteriorated. Made many calls firstly point out the issues of bad service ending up with frustration as nothing was resolved - over 2hrs on one call - passed from pillar to post. Explaining my situation on may occasions and the system notes are never complete. I am now at a point where I have no option but to stay until the of the contract even though they assured me that I could leave the contact with out penalties.
Do not recommend TALKTALK to anyone!

Useless; time wasters. Offer different packages online and on chat - which is plain dishonest. promise to put in a note to say that the broadband must be urgently installed on chat then say that they are giving you a discount. Except that the price is better online than this "discount" but then they refuse to add a note to say it is urgent. Once they have basically blackmailed you into getting the broadband over chat for a worse price by promising they'll install it earlier I received an email saying the the broadband would go live a day later than was stated on the website. Then complained and the customer service said the agent had LIED to me. Just don't even go there

No chance of getting broadband and house phone working at the same time. Engineer told me I could either have broadband or phone working only. Phoned up customer services to cancel to find out if you want a uk call centre they’ll throw you back in queue to get another call centre in another foreign country. After that they’ll still send you bills every month until they eventually try to take you to court through a debt collection agency. After speaking to said agency it gets sent back to Talk Talk only to be told they have sorted things out and apologetic but I still owe them for calls I managed to make (which I thought was fair). Guess what, the telephone numbers they gave me in the email don’t work. Still can’t get issue resolved and it’s been nearly six months now. Completely incompetent company.

We are paying for FASTER FIBRE with a broadband speed of 30 to 40 mbps, we are getting 10 to 14 mbps. Sometimes it is unworkable, very unimpressed with TALKTALK. Speed was ok until people started working from home, which has just rubbished our internet.

Customer service is outrageous. To cancel our never used account took 1,5 hours on the phone cause we kept being transferred to someone who could cancel it but it just ended up being another salesperson trying to make us keep the account. After cancelletion they are still charging us even though the router has literally NEVER been plugged in and is still just sitting in the box it came in whilst we wait for them to send another box to send it back in. When we phone to confront them about ongoing wrong payment they just keep hanging up. Absolutely insane. Spare yourself pain and never go for this company.

This service is unusable, it has been ridiculously bad since a few days after the 30 day cooling off period ended (convenient eh) you get nowhere with customer service, apart from a headache of repeating your full name, email, postcode, phone number etc, over and over in the same chat, very annoying when you're already annoyed at your Internet not working. I live alone so at most 2 devices in use at one time, yet they claim they provide good Internet for family use. I tried getting by with speed readings beginning with 0.0something, massively under their "guaranteed speed" before reaching my limit, I am now getting into a battle over my refusal to pay a fine for ending my contract prematurely whenin fact they broke the contract first by npt providing the service I'm paying for. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY BY JOINING TALKTALK,if needs be, learn smoke signals, much quicker and more efficient means of communication than trying to use their Internet!

The worst customer service I have ever encountered. Talk Talk cut our connection off without our knowledge or authorisation and couldn't work out why it had happened. They told us that we wouldn't have to pay the £170 early cancellation fee repeatedly as it was not our fault and then charged us anyway. When I asked for a refund or compensation the customer service representative laughed at me. We had to go for 3 weeks with no broadband because they made us wait for an engineer to come out to reconnect us. They will keep you on the phone for hours repeatedly putting you on hold until you're back to square one. Avoid!

no connection and zero customer service!!! I would rate ZERO if I could ! Worst ever broadband I have ever had with non-exist customer service. tried to phone them numerals times ended been transfered here and there a bunch of useless people who treat customers like mat who pay them each month for nothing but troubled. STAY CLEAR !!!!

Dreadful on every front. Avoid if you have any expectation of being able to connect to any website (benign) without filtering. The homesafe/kidsafe filtering was set to off yet technical support couldn't fix it so I was left with a terrible service. Customer service experience was the most stress-inducing experience. I would rather pay more and go elsewhere

furious paid it off in full once i cancelled and still getting emails to demand late payments when its been cancelled and closed down. money grabbing thieves. only offer to waive the fee cuz appaz i still owe them money when i have proof. not happening. seeing them in court

Well they had us hooked with the offer and the price but they completely lost us with the customer service and online assistance. Trying to set up a simple payment date and failing to do so correctly as agreed on several occasions then trying to give us a late payment charge as they failed to do as agreed was utterly shambolic, we honestly wish we'd never left sse as the level of difference in their customer service is nothi g short of astronomical. When talking to a talktalk representative it still feels like you're talking to a robot, like really scripted and absolutely no other responses beside what's written in front of them and this why we are leaving and going back to sse, seen as this is after just over a month with talktalk just about says it all really.

I've been with T-T for nearly 4 years and I've always had a good Service from them whilst their Customer Services are always very polite, helpful and deal with my Enquiry in a satisfactory way. The B/B speed used to be a bit 'iffy' but since they've introduced their new fibre 35 service its much faster now, and that is despite my area being known for poor reception (I've had to pay to have 'free sat'installed for my tv).
I would recommend T-T.

Avoid at all costs...i signed up to their service last month, I asked them to install before the 01st June or after 06th June as I was on vacation for that week ... they confirmed on the phone install was going to be on the 27th of May. Holy behold after a couple of weeks they sent an email confirming the install was going to be on the 01st (the date I wasn't available). I called customer service and they were kind enough or I thought so to reschedule for 07th June. On the 01st of June I got a call from an Open Reach engineer at my home. I told him I had rescheduled to the 07th and I wasn't home so he left. I then called Talktalk again to reconfirm they had changed the installation date which they confirmed verbally - they promised to recheck with Open Reach and call me back - never happened. After 3 days I got a call asking me if I could do a service test as my service was now live and got an email as well. I told the support guy the service was never installed unless guy illegally accessed my property but he insisted Open Reach had installed it. He booked a review with Open Reach and promised to get back to me on the 07th. I received a call on the 07th from another CS agent who said Open reach had rejected the review as connection was installed. Guy promised to call back in an hour but never did. I then made a series of calls where I was promised that an engineer would come imminently but never arrived. They kept on insisting Open Reach might have bought the ONT so I should I just plug in my router to the Virgin ONT. My virgin service was thankfully still active. After alot of arguments with them on the phone to explain my virgin connection was still active I went to see if I could plug in the Talktalk router...Holy behold the Virgin ONT has a coaxial connection and the TalkTalk an RJ45..no way they could be connected. However, as the Open Reach system marked it as live they would neither come to do an install or acknowledge fault...customer service is crap with no contact notes taken...I made around 12 calls to get an installation and resolve the issue but to no avail. Ultimately, I asked them to cancel ... they confirmed on the phone and the next day received an email from them that a direct debit had been set up successfully

I cannot stand talktalk anymore.
With the intermittent connection failures that clearly started because of maintenance work. then they try say that the issue is within your own home.
Will never use TalkTalk again and will be warning everyone I know to stay away from this ISP

Left talk talk when my contract was up in December 2020, to only find that they have been issuing me with default after default on my credit score - with no communication from themselves! needles to say, i am taking this further and will be seeking damages. I recommend you avoid at all costs, considering they ignore your cancellation notice and freely default your credit score.

We’d been with TalkTalk for years and never had a problem until we switched to super fast broadband. We initially got great download speed but over a couple of months it went down to 10. Over the following 5 weeks we had 2 internal engineer visits, 3 Openreach visits, a new socket and 2 new routers. After every one of these events they marked the issue resolved without checking. By the time we left to go to Sky we were down to 1.9. Plugged in the Sky router - immediately getting 57. We did manage to get out of exit feed and the last month’s rental.

Simple the WORST hardware hardly works and there tech team doesn't know how to fix any issues i had. so i tried to leave and they wouldn't allow me, i spoke to 7 people today and 3 Tuesday then when i managed to get the manager i was then cut off from the call and still nothing is resolved!!... dont go with talktalk

Please please do not go with talk talk - My router came after the engineer came and then my router arrived 5 days late... it was faulty , waited for another one 3 days and does not work either - engineers so unhelpful so wanted to cancel and now have to call a number that charged to cancel - a massive joke

RUDE STAFF ! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BEOND SHOCKING !
Charged when I didn’t even have a box from the provider ! Over charged for 3 months when it was cancelled have made my life hell ! Utterly shocked by the awful treatment I received would never recommend will be contacting trading standards as they took more money out of the account than they should just rip off merchants utterly disgusting service

I was never contacted. I have the equipment sealed in its original packaging. They could not provide my with fiber, and tried to fob with slower speeds.
