The worst interaction I have ever had with a company. The company structure is specifically designed to prevent customers speaking with the people that can help them. They might be cheaper than alternatives but it is in no way worth it. With the time and hassle involved you will end up worse off. I wouldn't go near this company again.

Genuinely impressed with it. I had sky Broadband previously, I know, same owner! With Sky I was only reaching around 3-6mbps but with NOW, I actually get my full 11mbps.

The hub was easy to install and came in great packaging which was all easy to recycle.

The hub is the same hub as the Sky Q one they provided. It’s just NOW branded. It was convenient as only had to swap out the AC adaptor and the hub itself. Then renamed the device and changed the password and it was all done.
The only issue is when editing the hub details, it thinks you’re still logged in as an Admin, but if you restart the hub at the socket, it will soon figure this out.

I was with these for 2 years, for the last 2 months I noticed my speeds were around 20mbps when I should have had 54mbps guaranteed.

They then said I would need to pay £40 for a new router to fix this. I mean really?? I have to pay to fix there faulty equipment?!

Needless to say I have switched to another provider.

Just be carefull as the customer service is totally crap

Received box early September, due to be live and working Mid September.

Now pushing mid December, was supposed to have 2 engineers visit the apartment on separate occasions (none of which showed up) and still have no internet.

    Waste of time.

Customer service is non existent. Trying to arrange engineer visit to move entry to house socket from window . Keep being told the team will get back to me and it does not happen . When I called again for 6th time I told I was down for a call out on day I am not available . Never bothered to inform me of a visit . Cannot speak to anyone in regards to arranging another appointment . Just told different team and I cannot contact them .

payment system nightmare as not accept direct debits and card payments have failed on many occasions down to their system error despite putting in new card their system fails to still take payments, so i get late payment emails, since day one . This is the only company which charges a £1 fee to change card as far as i know and takes forever to return it. If ever. Everything automated or online which is not good if problems. When signed up took 2 months to sort connection problems. when contract comes up for renewal, moving on never to return

    NOW - MORE LIKE NEVER!

We have waited 8 months YES 8 months for this shambles of a company to sort our internet!!!

I would appreciate some help and a contact number for someone who can help us!!

This company are awful we phone up and hear the same thing - we’ve updated your file and then no movement - we are at our wits end!!!

We waited 6 months for a pole to go in and now just need to be installed!!!! Why is it so hard to get them to book an appointment to hook us up? We should be HIGH PRIORITY BY NOW!!!!!

The useless people in the phone can literally do nothing. There’s no transfer to another team or anything!!!! I just don’t get it!

Does anyone in here have a number other than the generic one we can call???

Theives and liars. I don't believe for a second that this is an award winning service. Genuinely shocking customer service. I'm disabled and trapped at home and for that reason rely heavily on having internet. The day I was supposed to go live nothing happened. It was also the day my partner started an online college course which he ended up not being able to attend. I phoned up to try and see if there was anything Now Broadband could do to help, as when I signed up I explained my disability & how much I relied on the internet and they had assured me I would be connected smoothly.
I called them and was told that they had known three days earlier I wouldn't be connected on time but no one bothered to contact me. They said they would pass me to another department who may be able to help. I was spoken to like dirt by the member of staff I was passed to, who kept raising her voice at me despite me remaining calm. She said it was my own fault for not getting 'business broadband'? and kept telling me I needed to just deal with it. I was genuinely taken back by the way she was speaking to me, it's almost like she was taking my internet issue as a personal insult and became very aggravated and standoffish. I explained to her that I was worried because I am disabled I am dependent on having internet to be able to work etc and she started mocking me with her tone. I told her I was taken back by her unpleasant tone and asked to speak to a different advisor and she left the phone off the hook for a few minutes and then put the phone down on me, it was clearly a funny joke to her. I called back and was passed around in circles trying to find a solution and kept having more and more days added to how long I would have to wait to be connected. Inbetween all of this I looked Into lodging a complaint with Ofcom who suggested I ask them for a deadlock letter which would state that there was nothing more that they could do- they couldn't even provide me with this within the month!
Eventually I spoke to a lady who was much more understanding and told me that I wouldn't have my money taken or the contract started until I went live so not to worry- this was a relief. However the next day the money was gone from my account and I still had no internet! I phoned up to ask why they had taken my money without providing a service, when they had promised not to, and they couldn't give me a straight answer, I was told it would be another week until I was connected. At this point I was mentally exhausted with it and said I wanted to cancel and I wanted my money returned asap so that I can buy an unlimited SIM to hotspot from. They said I had to wait a week to cancel and up to four weeks for a refund! I can't even do a bank dispute because they have the charge as pending. I am absolutely disgusted. I now have no Internet for the foreseeable so I can't work, can't go to college, I have limited mobility so there really is nothing that I can do other than sit here and wait for them to resolve this and refund me. I can't even sign up to a new provider until they sort their mess out and give me the money they are holding back. Horrendous. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy.

Always drops out. Reported faults, they admitted the problem was at their end and told me it would be fixed within 72 hours. A week later no broadband at all. If you ring customer service at any time of day or night there is always at least 20mins delay to be answered. Usually more like 40 mins. Decided to change provider as Now TV is RUBBISH.

    Things that have gone wrong:

    1. NowTV misdelivered my router, by spelling my name wrong.
    2. Openreach engineer could not connect our house to the fibre cabinet on the first visit.
3.Open reach engineer did not escalate the issue to NowTV. Instead job was falsely marked as 'complete'.
    4. Upon our followup with NowTV, they realise the job is not complete and aim to schedule an engineer within 3-5 days.
    5. There has been no attempt to address the issue of the late connection or the false updates.

Where possible, go with a better supplier. My prior one is hyperoptic, and their service was fabulous.

Now tv have consistently failed to collect direct debit payments. After 6 months of this I eventually changed bank accounts. Today they have collected their payment. For the last few months the Internet stops working for upto an hour around midnight. Ive been fobbed off with 'System updates' 'denial' 'manager to call you back and 'You could always go elsewhere'. Its frustrating, the website is as friendly as a hangry guard dog, the line check useless! It needs working internet to test line issues, so if there's no Internet connection, it cant test anything! getting in touch with them takes the tenacity of a bounty hunter & the realisation that you need more magic than Disney to get a phone number out of that website & instead have to Google 'Speak to human NowTv'. Once you get through, the staff are good its the crazy Nowtv frame in which they work that is the issue. Nowtv don't do good will, apology or rectify mistakes permanently. The same issues happen each month. Tonight Internet went off at 23.54. It finally came back on at 00.44. Tomo I will battle to contact them again, they will in turn show me these actions are the definition of insanity. Time to change companies.. Id recommend teasing that hangry guard dog with a big steak a better idea than choosing them as your Internet provider, dont do it!!

They obviously train the staff to be blatant liars. Worst service and it’s as bad as what seems like dial up broadband! The company is an embarrassment

We are students and have had a really bad time with this broadband. It constantly cuts in and out, we have rang up 7 times and it still hasn’t been repaired and are really concerned as exams are coming up and we really rely on internet. We have been promised products to improve the signal twice and have not received them, and keep getting told we will be called back and never are. Really disappointed.

This is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I am having endless problems with my broadband, so I tried their Contact system on their site (try it before you sign up!) which just directs you away from contacting them. No way to contact them at all through their "I'm having problems" prompt. The only way to get a number is to say you want to sign up, or cancel. But if you call it, their robot won't recognise your key presses when you go to the Technical Help department, and it hangs up on you. So if you go to the "Upgrade your package" telephone prompt, you are put in a long queue, and then they hang up on you before you get through to a human. This is disgraceful. For your own sanity, please stay away.

Now let themselves down with the old routers the provide. Had issues since day 1 (multiple connection drops) which were never related to the broadband supply coming in, but devices connecting to their hub/router (basically if more than 4 things are connected at once you risk issues). I’ve had replacement hubs, long phone calls to tinker with settings, openreach visits to relay cable…you name it, but still the cutouts remain. Considering we work from our home this is a big problem! After 6 months we finally decided to switch elsewhere!

If you’re a casual user, you might get by without issues - otherwise if you do you’ll need a better router, and Now won’t tell you which other router models work with their setup.

Having a nightmare with this company over something which seems simple. I cannot access some websites I need to as they are blocked by NOW. I cannot update my preferences as my account does not appear to be linked to my broadband they tell me. Using the link they provided tried to link this but, although I am entering the correct information, it says I am not and can get no further with it. Have phoned their customer service who had no clue. Someone did phone me back and went through the same steps of trying via the same link with no success. She then told me someone from their IT would be in touch - three weeks ago and heard nothing. On their community forum it appears this problem has been ongoing for the past 3 and a half years. Now any emails or complaints forms I fill in are being ignored. That's their customer service for you - abysmal. I am out of contract in November, sent them an email to say as they cannot solve my problem I would like confirmation that if I move to another provider I will not have to pay any charges for early cancellation. Ignored.

I have had absolutely no problems with Now broadband, There customer service staff are mostly based in Ireland are always very friendly and helpful. Speed is great no issues or any dropouts. Been with them years at the end of year year prices goes up they send the reminder out and always offer me a new contract at the same price or lower. Highly recommend you try them as they offer a 30 day cooling off period where you can change you mind which i really liked when first signing up.

I was a returning customer to Now Broadband having previously not had an issue with them, however if you're a returning customer they cannot link your email address to your account as your email address will be linked to the original no longer active account. I have never experienced this problem at any other company.

I pointed out that it is illegal to take payment from anyone without first providing an invoice, but this doesn't seem to bother them in the slightest and their only solution is for me to create a new email address just for them. I don't see why I should inconvenience myself to help them not to break the law. They just shouldn't break the law.

Anyway, whilst that argument has been ongoing for 10 months, last week my Internet became intermittent over a 2 day period... 2 green lights, middle light flashing orange. Advice online suggests this is a fault with the line, but when I rang I spoke with the most unpleasant customer service agent whom suggested the plan I had was only strong enough to connect one mobile phone and wasn't enough to stream TV on. I had used the Internet for just that for over 2 years without incident so I a) don't see why it would suddenly cause a fault and b) cannot believe any Internet provider has a plan only strong enough for a single mobile phone and nothing else.

The customer service agent was so horrifically rude to me that I actually believe Now Broadband cut me off to get rid of me.

I now understand why they are in no hurry to solve the email linkage issue - its because returning customers is a myth for this company. Nobody goes back. Definitely nobody should.

Had a good start with fast delivery and fast set up. Then it all went down. Very slow internet to a point I couldn't get to the website for help. On the phone, they tell you everything is fine and they lie on the delivery speed. After many complain, they came up with the excuse that they deliver broadband to the socket, the rest is not their business .... yes it is as it is their box ! Don't bother!

Worst company I have ever had misfortune to deal with. Customer service is non existent. Broadband generally very slow. When Broadband went down it took more than 90 minutes to finally get a human on the phone. Every part of the troubleshooting sends you through interminable loops until you are disconnected at the end of each loop. The fault requires an engineer but they don’t work at weekends. How is it that I see engineers working at the box at weekends for other companies? Avoid at all costs.

If I could give -100 then I would. Placed an order. Asked for the service to be supplied in my new home, but the hub to be sent to my current address. I wanted to have the hub arrive at my current address so I would be able to accept the delivery and have my internet available for the day I moved. Apparently they did this. I logged in to check on the hub delivery and it was being sent to my new address, 503 miles away. Called to have the address changed. Clearly that was stupid of me to think that was an easy fix. Had to cancel my order because the hub delivery address could not be changed!!!!!!!!! I was told if I placed another order, my internet active date would be 6 days later to what I had ordered. That is utterly idiotic considering my date was already booked. Ended up complaining. A manager was supposed to call me today, but obviously that was far too much work. Called just before 5 to find out when the manager would call and I was told I could get my chosen date. Placed another order. Then I got an email with them delaying it 4 days. Called and complained again. The agent, for the third time, requested a manager to call but he could not amend my active date. Again I cancelled. BT can get me online the next day, and I do not get why it was impossible to change my hub delivery, nor keep my original date. Apparently the manager who couldn't be bothered to call me today will call me tomorrow. I have a feeling hell may freeze over first. If they are this incompetent in placing an order, I've had a very lucky escape. I would rather pay an extra £5 a month to BT than deal with this incompetence, inconsideration and pure ignorance. Good riddance.

AVIOD - I called NOW on the 7th August 2023, to switch to their super fibre since I wanted our new contract to start on the 6th September, the same day that our current provider contract would expire. I didn't get any email updates, and on the 4th September, I called NOW for an update because our router hadn't arrived yet. I was informed that the person I spoke to on 7th had not actually processed our transaction!
NOW verified that the earliest day on which they could connect us was the 11th of September, which was not ideal, nevertheless we accepted and went over all the setup requirements once more.
I kept track of our installation update online and kept checking my emails for any updates, but I didn't get any. On the 11th of September our ‘Go Live Date’, I contacted NOW again and was told that our order had been rejected because there were no "ports" available from Openreach. I currently have no access to broadband, and other providers have given me a 2 week installation estimate.
I’ve had to pay for extra data because I work from home. For such a massive corporation, the lack of communication is inexcusable, and it is absurd that a broadband provider can't get ports to connect people.

So far I'm very disappointed with capabilities of Now broadband service.
I already had a "Nowtv" box and thought it would work really well with Now broadband, it does not. The box performance is very slow compared to previous broadband supplier which surprised me.
I'm having trouble even getting in touch with Now broadband, beginning to wish I'd never changed

It took me 2 months and I am still in the midst of a long process getting back my refund with them. After purchase, the box cam very quickly but there is no internet connection on the day it suppose to go live. Waited for 5 days, customer service is very poor with a lot lapses in communication. Get different instructions every single day and none of them works out as promised. Cancelled on day 5, and thought that was it but no. a month later and our refund is still not with us, called several times again with different instructions, message and timeline. Asked us to wait another month and we will get a full refund. Mid October, sent an email to charge us for early termination fee, which is more than the broad band we subscribe to. So without using their data once, i was charge the first month and now issued another letter for an early termination fee when we cancelled within the cooling off period. Called again several times, again different messages. Reassured us that is an autogenerated email and don't worry about it. Refund will be done in November. November, not surprise we got charged AGAIN. We are fuming by now and the customer services are just completely unreliable. Called again this morning and hope to get all the money refund in next few days. But this again, might be one of many promises that they can't keep. I just want to cut this relationship with nowtv asap. Wasted a lot of our time and causing significant inconvenience. Took me 2 months to decide to put it here, hope to save you from your time and unnecessary stress.

So far so good with NOW . I got myself mixed up when I left Vodafone and changed to NOW due to the Vodafone high prices and they wouldnt reduce them despite loyalty over several years. However put myself through purgatory trying to get my mobile changed to Tesco as NOW dont do mobiles. still not really sure what I an paying or what is included but the staff in Derry NI seem very pleasant .
So time will tell when I find out more ! I am 80 and drilled to not expect too much from the newish technology all around us. It was better and simpler 10 or more years ago.

Keeps cutting out. Huge pain, especially as I use the internet for work.
It’s Christmas Day and I simply would like some downtime and to watch a film on Netflix. I’ve had no luck today or for the last few days.
I input my problem online and I guess I’ll call after the Xmas break to get it sorted, but I’m actually hoping it may start working again.

Ordered their broadband and phone service several weeks ago and given a date for telephone and broadband to go live. Had already cancelled my previous internet provider 4 weeks earlier. On the day my services were due to go live - nothing. No broadband and no phone line. As I had not received any communications from them informing me of any problems with the installation date, I was told that there was a problem with Openreach and that I would not be getting my phone and broadband service and that I had to ring their Sales team and place a new order. I was left with no phone and internet service for several weeks and had to go back and re-subscribe with my previous internet service provider. Don't waste your time with this company's very poor service. They are unprofessional, unreliable, poor communicators, and very much 'second rate' They also have not returned the £5 router fee that I paid them in advance = maladministration.

Shocking company. Would not recommend. Waiting weeks for broadband and then it was cancelled, no explaination, can’t tell us why. Have to replace order and wait another two weeks. Told multiple times we’d be called to be updated, never was contacted by them. Had to wait on hold for over an hour every time. Shocking

I really wish I didn't enter into this contract, it was the cheapest on offer and I took it. Thinking what difference can there possibly be between the providers?

The price is good, for the deal period only. The router is very poor - you will find yourself wanting to get yourself a new one (£60+). The wireless range is abysmal, doesn't cover even a small 3 bed home with the router in the middle. Want to use it in the garden? Forget it.

However the major problem with Now TV is the connection reliability. It frequently drops out, then you can't connect for another 5-10mins - you spend time at the router, resetting and playing with settings and no change. Then slow speeds for periods of many days.

Don't get me wrong, we had periods of a month with no issues. However over the 12 months we have used Now TV, we have had 10 periods of between 3 and 10 days - with frequent drop outs throughout those times. Along with not being able to connect, and we live in an area where mobile signal is not the best so we rely on it.

I have read many reviews reporting the same issues on connection dropping out. Its not an isolated situation.

Customer service is poor, waiting times on the phone are long. Not particularly helpful when you finally do get through. Problems persist anyway.

I'd say, stay far away. Its better to pay twice as much and get reliable internet than this nightmare.

Go with Plusnet, EE or BT. The first 2 aren't much more expensive and from reviews seem to be far more reliable.

Don't cheap out on your internet, DO NOT USE Now TV - you will regret it when those periods of constant disconnects and poor connection speeds arise - while your waiting the 12 months until you can move without paying a fee.

signed up and excellent communication bordering on harassment for a few weeks leading up until installation day , apparently there was an issue with the socket for fibre broadband in the main signal box up the road even though he was an enginear he admited he has no idea what to do so the engineer said i will still get broadband but at a lower speed - LIES! no communication from now tv as soon as things went wrong . rang helpline and told we will answer ur call in under 5 minutes - LIES! actually had a wait of 15 . spoke to a northern irish gentleman eventually that was totally uninterested in the situation bordering on being rude saying i would receive a call from the back office team within 72 hours -LIES! after speaking again to someone today who was actually really pleasant i was informed they will not actually call u they will just send u an email in 3 days time .- LIes! the helpful rep today actually said the account is up for review in 4 days not 3 ! essentially if something goes wrong u are left hanging with very poor communication and them passing the buck to bt openreach or there back office team that u cant actually talk too! . i saw the price and thought its owned by sky so must be decent but up until this point have had a terrible experience with very little communication probably because i havent paid my monthly bill yet so they dont care. im sure some people have had a good experience but read the majority of the reviews this honestly is a very poor company with very poorly trained teams in charge .oh and one last thing i signed up for 25 pound a month fibre broadband which included line rental and free any time calls . guess what ? they still intend to charge me 8.40 for line rental even though no where in there 25 contract do they mention this of being a possibility of that exact price . even better than that there line rental is 7.99 so why would i be paying 8.40 ? i asked the call centre gentleman at first contact and he could not answer and adamant i am liable for this charge . i informed him ive read all 25 pages of my contract and perhaps he should read one of his company's contracts before making false legal statements . ive got no doubt someone somewhere will take legal action against this company at some point as its seems it is built on deceit . am i a disgruntled customer ? absolutely ! is everything i said true ? absolutely . use at your own risk ! and definitely do not switch provider until these jokers actually get things up and running or u will be left without internet like me with no idea when or if it will be resolved 1 shocking experience hopefully i hope u`ve read this review before signing up . i wished id checked the boundless amounts of bad reviews before i did !

so far so good (three weeks), switched from origin (different review), during sign up estimated speed was 4-8Mb/s (due to line), after 10 days (settling) period speed was just below 4Mb/s and going off once a day.
I spoke with customer services and after a few line checks an appointment was made for an engineer.
BT engineer visit next day - changed master socket, checked wiring, got the line reset - instant 7.5Mb/s and has been stable since. Pleased so far.
