My advice is if you are thinking of switching to EE...don't. It is truly woeful. They offered to upgrade for a small amount of increase 3 months ago when the service didn't work and now they have offered to upgrade for a further £12.00. The internet is wholly unreliable, seems to go off during the day when clearly they are on repairs and it is a thoroughly miserable experience all round

I have signed up to alerts when there re service problems in my area. The inbox is full with text alerts. Currently there is a major problem and internet is down. The help line on 150 is either not taking calls or hanging up after 15 min of holding.
Overall the reliability of broadband and the achieved speed has been appalling.

I switched to EE, from Hull based KC, a month ago, and have been 100% satisfied. They promised a minimum speed of 8mbps, which was faster than the 6mbps I was getting from KC. I've checked my speed almost every day, and it has never dropped below 17mbps, and has been as high as 35mbps, it's also very stable, so no more buffering problems with Netflix and Amazon Prime. Upload speed is also much better than KC. Recommended.

After placing an order for home phone and broadband 1 month ago, nothing apart from 2 lost days (taken as holiday) no communication from EE,and when I contacted them all they did was blame BT and said it was not worth complaining as nothing would happen. Terrible Terrible service from EE

Avoid by all cost moved from talk talk to EE after they phoned me and convinced me they had a better speed than talk talk this was going to cost me an extra 12 pound a month. At Christmas I got my kid ps4 who likes to play online and watch Netflix , I only have two devices connected to wireless so when my kid told me he was losing his online connection whilst playing and watching Netflix I called EE customer service trying to explain I wasn't happy the agent decided she wasn't going to let me finish my complaint and talked over me and tried to get me to take the new fibre contract at this time I asked to speak to a supervisor which I did she went on to tell me the 28pound service I was paying for would not support my kid playing online with ps4 or watching Netflix, I was totally flabbergasted by this statement so basically she was saying the service they provided was pish and not fit for anything apart from looking at pages online ,disgusting lying waste of space , avoid avoid avoid

Absolutely terrible, if you ever think about getting this broadband... think again. The first day I got 38Mb/s which was exactly what I was meant to get which was fantastic! the next day it dropped to 17Mb/s and since then has been fluctuating between 22Mb/s and 3Mb/s and 90% of the time I get under 10Mb/s which isn't good when I play video games and trying to download new games. This internet always drops out at random times and is very unreliable I hope i'm able to get out of this terrible contract and move to a different one.

Been with EE from the Freeserve,Wanadoo,Orange days.Never had a problem with my service from day 1.Just upgraded to EE fibre 38mb. got a free router, delivery and connection with 1500 free minutes to mobiles and 01,02,03 numbers and it is costing me £9.50 a month LESS than I was paying for the up to 20mb package. EE rang me out of the blue and offered me this new package and the guy on the phone could not have been more polite and helpful. Everything he said would happen did happen. I just replaced my router with the new brightbox 2 and was instantly back on line with no problems. Consistant speed,no dropouts it is spot on. From the way my upgrade was handled I cannot praise EE enough.

Very pleased and more than happy with the transfer - easy - prompt delivery of Hub and good communication in respect of transfer. I'm pleased I changed as my other provider was expensive and not always reliable.

Absolutely dreadful service. We signed up during an offer for an £75 Amazon voucher that was meant to be paid within 90 days of service which we still have not received. Customer service takes a week or more to reply and the service itself is terrible. Weekends and evenings the internet is incredibly slow and it's constantly cutting out, sometimes even 5 times in one evening. I would not recommend their home phone and broadband to anyone. Why couldn't they put the same quality and effort into this than they do their mobile phone service.

Very slow broadband speed ( 0.95 Mb/s - 1.15 Mb/s. No broadband for 1 week. Engineer sent to investigate the problem was unable to carry out the work as he came without necessary equipment ! Reconnected after 1 week, bb speed as per above-free internet on Stagecoach bus works faster !

Wow!! I'm bowled over by the consist bad service I'm receiving, apart from the awful customer service (I am constantly promised agents will ring me back and they never do) I have had 4 engineers out to fix my Internet the 5th is on Tuesday. I am hoping that the supposed "customer care team" will finally resolve the issue,I've had money knocked off my Internet, phone and tablet and I'm still annoyed lol. What is the point in selling a service that clearly doesn't work?

Paying for 38G speed getting 16G at the mo. The line deliverd 37.8G when the contract started but gradually got slower and slower after that. Also broadband has dropped out over a dozen times in the last 2 days, have complained. Will change provider as soon as the contract runs out.

Can't really find any words of praise for EE, have been with them since 2012, and following the BT takeover of EE the broadband has been absolute rubbish, countless calls to India invariably were full of empty promises to sort it out, the number of engineers that have been booked to come and test the line, some showed up some didn't, those that did turn up kept telling me the issue was at the BT Exchange and they would escalate the report to the tech team in BT, but nothing ever happens, just carry on with drop outs daily and line speeds that are utterly dismal. The EE Executive Team are now dealing with the complaint, and quite frankly they seem to be struggling, booking and engineer to get the exchange line card replaced has been cancelled with no notice today after staying in specially as requested for the 5 hour AM slot. Best to steer clear of EE if you are thinking of being conned by their overly rated advertising.

I have been with EE for the past four years! And how do they re-pay you for loyalty? - By constant price increase and decrease in their service!
When I first ordered EE - I had 17MB broadband speed with no issues, no disconnections, no problems. I was really happy with it!
After the contract ended the price increased and broadband speed dropped to 15mb. Year later price increased again and broadband speed dropped to 12mb. This year price increased again, and the speed dropped to 6MB.
They do not watch their lines for faults at all. If your connections drops you will have to prove them its their fault, as they will never admit it. If you contact them by mail, answer will arrive just about a week later.
If you are with EE and your contract ended, change the provider, as your service will drop and they just don't care about you no more.
I had enough, switched the provider last week.

Our speed 0,25 Mbps - contract for 18 months - no possibility to cancel the contract. After time-consuming calls to EE technical support there is always improvement for 3 days so the speed is 3 Mbps, but after 3 days there is 0.25 again.

The customer service is awful.

The most insane company I have ever seen !
Try to figure out a set up on our account since 3 month , this is a nightmare. Can't close the account, can't pay because can't set up the details .. nobody on the phone .. totally useless by email , totally inexisting services !
They lost our ID paper , that we sent 2 times ,
they continue to send the bills with the wrong name and say it's unpaied .. but we can't access to the account as they don't change the name .. they are totally idiot , I have never seen that. ! Don't but a suscribtion with them !!

I was lied to by sales saying that my brother on T mobile could easily migrate over to a bundle package if we take it out with EE. They can't do it, and I didn't find out until after the 14 day returns window. Also I cancelled one of the lines on my bundle and they still took the money out!
Shocked at how poor their service is.

EE has been the worst provider I've ever been with they say there bright box 2 is amazing when it can't send signals up only straight and they stated I'd get 72mbs real sale 13mbs,
Customer service team are just out of this world rude and don't right insulting. I asked for an engineer to come out and the only availability they gave me was for 3weeks and still charged me for no Internet. Overall use as a company I give them 1/10 never again and I'm constantly spreading the word!

Always on a BT landline was with Freeserve from 1998 on pay monthly dialup, then broadband from 2005 onwards. (Government forbade BT providing broadband in my area). They called themselves Wanadoo, Orange, EE and now owned by BT? They started double-charging line rental on "MAXIMUM PAYMENT PLAN" ? I already pay BT for this so I changed my broadband to BT since January. EE continue to extract £35 monthly payments from my debit card as they have my card number.

I can't star any of the others as I was misold my broadband,tv,phone which by the way keep crashing. I would not have gone with them if I know what I know now they reel you in then bang bills are twice as high as they promised. I have been with them 2 months and the have had over a100 quid already a I phoned to cancel and they want nearly 400 quid of me even though they misold it to me so anyone thinking if going with them think really hard first
