We switched from BT when our 12 month Infinity 1 contract was ending. They offered us Infinity 1 again on a 2 year contract for £44 a month. We said no thanks, as that seemed expensive, and we hadn’t found their customer service all that great either. |

We switched to Vodafone from BT, who turned out to be just as awful as TalkTalk before them. The switching process went wrong. For some reason BT declined to release our number after we expressly said we wanted to keep it. BT weren't interested iunless we signed another 24 month contract and then with no guarantee we'd get our number back. I contacted Vodafone, who were (a) concerned, and (b) absolutely brilliant. They requested the number from BT, who immediately said it was available! So after a couple of days with a rogue number, Vodafone had us back on with our old number. NIce work guys! |

Changed to VD Fibre 76 from BT Infinity 2 in order to save 60% on the price. Excellent communication prior to the change with plenty of explanation. Router arrived a couple of days before activation allowing me to set it up. VD was up and running 10 minutes after connecting the router and has provided solid connection at the same speed as BT. Absolutely no complaints and I'm enjoying the financial savings! |

Had Vodafone since March and have to say I’m really impressed. Speed and reliability and he and and shoulders above previous suppliers (had plus.net, Sky and BT over the years). A recent issue where my builder had cut the phone line going to the house by accident was sorted by Openreach on behalf of Vodafone within 2 days, free of charge, and we were given 100 GB of additional mobile phone data allowance across our 4 mobiles so we could stay connected. |

Switched from sky, was getting 8mps and a connection that was constantly dropping. Now on 40mps and a flawless connection.... no complaints at all, switching was easy and it was cheap as chips!!! Love the UK call centre too |

The best broadband switchover I've ever had. We had to switch from the appealing BT broadband service even though we were on "BT Infinity" package at the time. The switchover was excellent with no interruption other than changing over routers. Days later when I mentioned the connection occasionally dropping out, a U.K. Customer service rang back almost straightaway to talk me through switching the channel to 5Ghz. At the moment, I'm gobsmacked by the sheer perfection of service and the product and just hope it lasts! I would highly recommend Vodafone Beoadband |

Move from BT due to increasing costs and variable download speed. We were away for the actual switch over but left the Vodafone router plugged in and switched on. On our return the internet download speed had jumped from 6 Mbps to a constant 37 Mbps at less than half the cost of the BT service and free landline to U.K. Mobile calls. So far, no outages. Brilliant - highly recommended. |

Things did not start well but got a lot better. Initially my broadband was due to go live with VF on Thursday, My Sky stopped working on this day but VF BB did not start working, many phone calls later and it was all finally working BB and phone 6 days later, I was not pleased although I do not know if VF are at fault or Openreach. But as I said everything improved. The router although hated by many seems good to me. Port forwarding was easy to setup and it is also doing port address translation (for example incoming port 2300 to port 554 on internal Lan) my Sky box did not do this. I have over 30 devices on my internal network which can be accessed from the WiFi correctly. I have a music 16Gb library on a USB memory stick plugged into the VF router and this is accessed by my 6 Sonos boxes. My download and upload speed is as it should be, quite high FEC on the stats page but does not seem to be a problem. The WiFi coverage is as good as my Ausu DSL-N55U. The CPU is showing only 10% and memory usage 41% |

I have been using Vodafone Broadband now since I changed over from BT on 20th March. So far my connection has been constant with no drops at all. On BT, my sky Q mini box had to be restarted about 3 times a week after losing connection with my BT hub. To date my sky mini has lost connection once in 4 weeks from my Vodafone hub. I am sitting out in the back garden writing this review and my hub in in the front room, my connection has only lost one bar. All my Sonos products, my 2 TVs, my Sky and mini box, 2 mobile phones, 2 iPads, printer, laptop and other little wifi devices are all connected and running perfectly. I have had 2 conversations with Vodafone customer services and found them extremely helpful. |

After a couple of months, so far so good. Move from BT was seamless. We are in the Perthshire hills relying on a couple of miles of copper wire from the fibre box. Best we ever got from BT was around 1.4Mb. I find it amazing that Vodafone have been able to guarantee over 2Mb and are consistently delivering 3.5Mb. It's not exactly super fast, but it's better than BT........and its over the same line, and for half the price (for phone & broadband). I can only assume BT were slowing us down due to the volume of customers they have? |

The CPU is showing only 10% and memory usage 41% so it would seem the router coping well with the more than average demands I put on it. All this for £20 a month, a bargain in my opinion. Its a shame it was a bad start. I found the VF support line helpful and courteous if not very technical. Openreach were very helpful the engineer gave me his mobile number so I could ring him directly if any more problems occurred with their side of things. Can't think of any other relevant points, I am now a happy VF customer, mind you its only been up and running for 4 days. |

I took the plunge and switched from Sky Broadband Unlimited to Vodafone 38 Fibre. I was very happy with my Sky service but Vodafone had a deal that meant I got fibre cheaper than Sky were giving me standard ADSL for. |

I gave up on Virgin after yet another fault with agent restarting my router for the 5th time and claiming my slow bandwidth was due to having wifi disabled. Also when I cancelled they claimed Netflix would buffer with anything less than 100mb. Terrible! Got my Vodafone router through the post. Plugged it in on the date. Got my advertised download and upload speeds on the date I was told. Can't give all full marks as not had it that long but to date very good. |

I've had vodafone fibre for just under a year. They have just increased the price mid-term but when I rang them up they offered me the initial rate (which is still being offered to new customers) straight away. My only grumble is I think its a bit cheeky in the first place to increase costs for existing customers whilst still offering the lower cost on their website. |

Okay, this is an update to my previous review, now we've had VF BB Fibre (and phone) up and running for 3+ months. Firstly, as a reminder as per my previous review, the original migration from BT was a stressful and sometimes laughable affair - taking 2 weeks, with no service, and daily "what is happening?" phone calls. They finally got it sorted (VF blamed Openreach, Openreach blamed VF, etc, etc) and 3 months on I'm happy to report the BB service itself is BETTER than my previous BT Infinity fibre. Connection is reliable (I'm only aware of 2 sub-10 minute drop-outs in 3 months), and average speeds are superb. With heavy household usage, we are averaging about 70Mbps (ish), with lows slowing to about 50-60, but highs often up to a whopping 80Mbps! My only gripe are infrequent (but noticeable) webpage responses/loading times. It's not that often, but occasionally there's a hesitancy to responses from servers when browsing. This could be a latency issue, as streaming is largely unaffected ('ping' times are usually around the 50ms mark - previous BT regularly around 20 - 30ms). However, as there is nobody here that's an online 'gamer' it's barely noticeable and hardly a deal breaker. Streaming of HD content is constant and reliable, even with a house full of ppl on various connected gadgets. A big plus to this is the ability to tweak the router to focus its attention on a single device (using the VF software). This is fab if you have a main device you want to prioritise (family room Smart TV, for example), however we've rarely needed to use it as bandwidth seems plentiful for our busy household. Finally, to top it off, the price for all of this, PLUS my home phone, is more than HALF what I was paying for BT Inf.2!! Was I happy with the transition from BT to VF? Erm..... NOOOOO. It was an absolute shambles, tbh. Am I happy 3 months on now the original mess finally got sorted? Yes - and if the speeds and reliability remain as constant, coupled with the solid router and competitive package pricing, I'll be staying with VF for a fair while I'd imagine...... |

Switched from BT Infinity 2 to VF as I've had my mobile contracts with them and they were very competitive with their Fibre deals. Sign-up was painless, however the line take-over was an utter shambles. Phone went over on day of switch, but no BB? At all. It eventually took 12 phone calls and 9 days to get it sorted - with VF blaming Openreach and vice versa. HOWEVER, now that I am connected, we're consistently getting 70 - 80Mb, however that does suspiciously appear to slow to 40(ish) in the evenings (- congestion??). We get a strong and consistent wi-fi signal with the smart-looking VF Hub (better than my old BT HUB4), and so far no disconnects - even with 7+ devices all connected at once (via dual band). The Hub 'BOOST' feature is excellent - allowing you to boost signal to a single device (i'e' for streaming / gaming). Re. their helplines, their staff answer the 'phones quickly (all 12 calls answered within 20 - 30 seconds or so), but I'd argue they need more training regarding how helpful they can be. They were always sympathetic and polite - just couldn't really give me any answers. Overall - now that I'm FINALLY up and running, I'm quietly impressed. Would have given 4 - 5 stars IF they hadn't have left me 'internet-less' for 9 whole days... |

I signed with Vodafone on the strength that they had a comprehensive international calling add-on particularly as it includes UAE - it doesn't and that was a great disappointment and why I left (I may as well get free European football with an alternative provider) |

I have just switched from BT to Vodafone and switch-over went exactly as Vodafone said it would go. I plugged in the Vodafone router before 8am on the switch over day, waited until midnight and the next morning it was working (after a router restart). So far, so good. I already had fibre broadband with BT so suspect some of the issues people have reported have been as a result of also changing from standard broadband to fibre. |

Although the package was sold as "up to 2.2Mps" i think that i have only ever seen the speed hit 2.1 Mbs once in the 6 months that i have had it. I would like to see providers state a guaranteed minimum speed before selling the "best case" scenario as fact. |

No hassle with USB dongle and connecting up from standard Vodafone box. Pay as you go was fine for three years. There was a monthly expiry date and so I'd buy a £15 voucher from shop and from the box would simply type-in the number and I was again connected up to the internet. Then Aug 2013 they brought in data packs, upped the price to £20 and I had to open an online account. I couldn't manage the top-up and went round in circles and always ended up having to get their help in converting my voucher to data. I then had to wait up to an hour (usually) for internet connection.I wondered why they just couldn't tell how it wa done and they kept telling me they were going to update the website. I'd visit the shop and they'd spend 15 minutes connecting up my laptop! Then they advised me to get the tech team to do it by phone. Then it was customer services who did it. Then 14 months later I was told that I couldn't do it online/account top-up myself, that I would ALWAYS have to ring up monthly for them to convert my voucher (or card payment) into my usual 3GB data. As my mobile phone wasn't with Vodafone I had to pay for this at UK rate. I was put through to Indian, African and Scottish people, all friendly and with helpful attitude but have never once got an immediate response to my call (usually all-back) or internet. This month (Nov 2014)they couldn't get me on the internet for two days! This is a long review. It's been a long time frustrated and inconvenienced and I just want you all to be warned. It's PAYG dongle works just dandy ...once you're finally connected! |

Purchased a £15 a month contract with Vodafone while living in the UK. I've only just found out two months later I'm being charged nearly £80 extra during this period for a few calls to Ireland, something I did not realise incurred extra charges. |

Setting up the account didn't work first time, they then sent three routers so the internet wouldn't work until they sync the correct router serial number. Customer service is awful. Have had to reset account every time I try to log in. Now log in doesn't work if you use Safari (Apple) browser |

I got this PAYG dongle in November 2010 as I've moved house and needed broadband. This was a great deal at only £15 a month with 3GB allowance. Sadly, Vodaphone have reduced the monthly allowance to 2GB from 1st February 2011 so I'm desperately trying to find another provider to change back to 3GB. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS IF YOU NEED MORE THAN 2GB PER MONTH. |

Beware of this ISP if you wish to connect wirelessly to the router! My broadband was OK for the first few months. Now, with no additional equipment on the system and nothing extra to cause interference, the wifi is totally unreliable. It randomly disconnects from phones, tablets etc then the next day different items won't connect. After a hard reset it lasted 2 days before having problems again. I have tried every channel but nothing helps. Vodafone's official view is that -to quote - 'your contract is for wired broadband. The wifi is not included in this and we have no duty to ensure you can connect wirelessly to your router' They also advised me to switch off the wifi on all phones, tablets etc except when it is being specifically used because the router cannot cope with too many devices at once! Obviously it is only suitable for single people or technophobes! |

I was with PlusNet for a number of years but noticed a drop off after the BT takeover. Once they'd hiked their ADSL to £30 I decided to switch to Vodafone Fibre as they were offering the whole kit for £26. |

After being with this company for almost 2 34 months It is time for change, the network has become worse, the service is terrible and the reliability is useless on average i have to call their customer services atleast once a month to get them to fix something, i have already had 4 dongles in 2 18 month contract periods due to the dongle breaking (not my fault) pluss you cannot open your nat types for use with Xbox 360 (i have tried everything). if you want mobile broadband dont get it from Vodafone |

Customer service quite poor i wouldn't recommend them. With one or two exceptions i was promised call backs that never came ,was given information that was wrong and simple problems took an age to sort out. |

Customer service good in that people I spoke to helpful and professional but the service itself is poor. I switched from BT and VF didn't switch my home phone number over for a week. The service worked well initially but after a few days my Amazon Echo Dot stopped working never to work again (on VF). VF are not concerned with this, its not their kit. After 2 months the service got worse and worse with constant disconnects. A new router seemed to fix it for a while but then the same experience. Eventually I tracked it down to having an un-managed ethernet switch connected to the router would frequently stop all other devices from working. I never had this issue with BT. The price rise allowed me to switch back to BT where the service is seamless, switch over taking 20 mins nice and early in the morning and now all my devices work again. I would probably switch back to Vodafone when they iron out their technical issues but I don't see that happening soon. They had issues with the firmware on their routers and they seem to be far from fixed. |

Went live yesterday Friday 8/4/17, our 9 Sonos devices failed to work immediately resulting in 2 hours of investigation and a router flash from Vodafone. Fixed the immediate problem and then Saturday morning (9/4/17) slow website speed and wired and wireless devices failing to connect. Extensive call with Vodafone and the eventually admitted that *we* were not a normal family and that there were limits on the number of devices that could connect to their router..... Worked around the problem and installed an old router in access point mode the take all the wireless connections which was fine until about 1800 when connectivity failed completely - result= going back to BT as soon as I possibly can as although they were more expensive we had no problems in three years of usage |

I have took out a plan with Vodafone just over two weeks ago unfortunately we are in a position that we cannot get unlimited broadband locally so after a recommendation from the neightbour and the advise of the the store representative at currys that there is no option for more than 50GB we have picked your home wifi package which we were pretty happy with. |

I received no broadband, It took them 30 days and I still had no connection. They never cancelled BT so I had no choice than to go back to BT. They said they could pay the cancellation fee as it was their fault but they would only be able to pay off my mobile phone bill with it. They said that I could use my phone as a router free of charge, that was not true. Having to explain and explain again, they took of a small amount off my bill. I had a bill of £103 I usually a have about £50 to pay. I had a guy called Hamid Khalique, who worked there, tell me "Come on, Lorraine, you haven't lost any money from our mistake"!!! I think he should be trained in Customer Care better, I don't know him, so I'm not sure why he addressed me the way he did. I did have to pay for a much larger mobile bill, I spent ages on the free number phoning to try to get it sorted, even their own system went down. Then to top it all they sent me another email saying welcome to Vodafone broad and they were going to connect me in two weeks time!!!! Come on Newbury sort yourselves out!!! |

Terrible, frankly criminal usage system that makes it very easy to slip up and go over your limit and then they charge you utterly extortionate amounts. Their online and phone services are a ridiculous bureaucracy. EE has a much saner system. |

Firstly Vodafone lost my phone number even after me explicitly asking to have it transferred, nothing they can do apparently. The router loses ADSL connection several times a day, 3 months after install it hasn't stayed connected for more than 24hrs. The router itself is terrible. Wireless connected devices can't communicate with wired devices, eg my Apple TV is connected to the router via Ethernet and my iPad cannot see the device as its wireless. Several hours of phone calls to customer services to try and solve these issues with no joy so I'm stuck with this for another 15months. AVOID!! |
