Absolutely Awful.
I thought that combining my mobile and broadband provider would make life easier. Wrong. Things started badly when Vodafone changed my landline number without informing me (I subsequently found out that the number was allocated to someone else). That took a week to resolve. Since then I have experienced multiple issues trying to log on to my account (all I want to do is get a copy of my bill) and each time it seems to take 2 to 5 days to resolve the problem. Will not be renewing my contract.

Constantly drops out and not the speed advertised. Worst thing though is that I signed up for a discount price for 18 months, and within 2 months they hiked the price by 10%! DOn't fall for their specilal offers. Thats just to tempt you in and they don't last the length of the contract.

Worst tech support in the world! they haven't got a clue
Raised a case with 'support' about less than 1MB/s download speed in the evening only. Mornings and afternoons were totally fine, just dropped to unusable speed during peak hours.
Every time I called them quoting the ticket reference, I'd ask them to describe the issue I was experiencing... it would take them about 5 minutes (at least) to figure out what I was complaining about! and most of the time I'd have to tell them the problem again. I think they just write notes on their computer system which is a terrible way to manage tech support tickets - that coupled with poor grasp of English Grammar means that their notes are illegible so the next tech admin cant decipher what the previous guy wrote (and so on). It's really not the fault of the support staff - vodafone have given them this antiquated IT system and they have put draconian time wasting procedures in place. Vodafone are no doubt taking advantage of these cheap call centers in Egypt and provide them with minimal training,
Then they asked me to take screenshots from speedtest.net for morning, afternoon and evening and send them the results via email - so that they could escalate the case to 3rd line support. I did so, it takes them 24 hours to validate the screenshots and then they ended up rejecting it - because they want the screenshot to cover the whole desktop!.. then I submit again and they reject again. Then I submit again and they reject again for some other silly reason. Each submission/rejection process takes 24 hours (minimum). Total bunch of time wasters
2nd Line support may as well be an automated voice service. 'Have you tried rebooting the router? Have you tried an ethernet cable? Have you tried another device? in that case send screenshots!' That's all they've got.
Also 2nd line, cannot communicate verbally with 3rd line. They send each other emails. Turn around to respond to each email is 24 hours (min).. they just wasted days and days and days and did absolutely nothing. My cancellation has happened before the ticket even made it to third line. Last I heard was they rejected the screenshots again for a 5th time due to two chrome tabs being open in one of the screenshots
Cheap broadband, good when it works - if you have any issues tech support is a nightmare.
My two cents, they were quite happy to hear that I got so frustrated that I wanted to cancel. They pretty much rolled out the red carpet and gave me a months refund and said they'd fast track the termination to be in 48 hours. I guess every case they refer to OpenReach costs them money.. that's why they put so many barriers in the way. They're happier for you to leave and take the issue with you to your next supplier. It works out cheaper for them.

We signed up in late February, the installation was not great but the actual internet service was okay.
The main problem is that Vodafone have increased our price by 15%, a month after the service started. We can't leave without a penalty and they refuse to do anything about it. We feel completely ripped off.

I changed from BT to Vodaphone as cost was half that of BT with 5x faster speed promised. The experience has been a disaster. I live out of two addresses and Vodafone refused to deliver the router to the supply address as that was not the address recorded with the payment card. Not a major problem, as my wife was at the card address at that time. The delivery driver arrived at the expected time, but waited only seconds for the door to be answered before leaving - my wife answered the door to see the driver turning the corner. An email was sent promising delivery the following day but no time, and no facility to contact the delivery people. My wife stayed in all day to receive the parcel the following day, changing her prior arrangements, but there was no delivery. Eventually my wife drove a round trip 40 miles to collect the router. The following day my BT supply terminated. I tried connecting through the old BT router but could not make this work. When my wife arrived from the other property with the router I spent several hours trying to make it work. Eventually, on waiting ages for Vodafone service to answer the phone, I was told that my scheduled day for connection to Vodafone had been postponed a week as they had been unable to arrange engineering works. So I am left without any access for a week. When I finally did get service I find download speed is only a fraction of that advertised. I reported this, but two weeks later I have not had any improvement. On top of that, in my backlog of emails I find one from Vodafone saying that an engineer had called for the installation as arranged, and as I had not been in for the appointment I would be charged a fee. But no appointment had been made - this was the first I had heard that any engineer visit was necessary, and anyway I had been in at the property all day on the date they stated and no engineer called. When I did get service no engineer had been to the property for the supposed works. At this point I discovered that the internet was way slower than promised speed. I reported this, but two weeks later I have had no resolution. I really wish I had not signed up with Vodafone, but committed to an 18mth contract now. Hopefully, once everything is sorted out and working properly it will be OK, but not very confident. I would advise others to stay away from Vodafone.

Never ever refer a friend to vodafone as theyve not honoured the reward to my friend or myself after waiting several months. Ive wasted time chatting online, they keep givibg me different email addresses to send details to and never processed the reward. It should be straight forward and automatic. AVOID THEM IF YOU CAN. I WILL BE MOVING TO ANOTHER PROVIDER SOON

Whilst the price and speed package was very well priced and i gone for it, using it for 6 months it has been unreliable service on monthly, weekly and daily basis, i experience frequent broadband disconnections and reduced speed, for example for the last 7 days i am running on 8Mbps download speed where is my package is 65Mbps.
I didn't think its possible these days to have such unreliable connection and every time the speed issue gets resolved, its just matter of days when it drops again.
Never had this issue with Sky, and even think of TalkTalk its been better.
Its been such a waste of time constantly reporting these issues. Will be looking to move away

Tried to switch via Money Saving Expert. First order mysteriously cancelled (blamed 3rd party provider). Tried a second time , order seemed to go through and checked progress, confirmed. Next day their system couldn't find order, checked at 8 am customer services said its still there. 10.45 am another customer services person in India wanted to check if I wanted to add any extras ( odd call), 30 minutes later I had a new confirmation with different number, called again and low and behold she had put through a new order, losing my £100 voucher. CANCELLED. Seems like a bad practice from Vodafone,

Terrible company, poor customer service. I’ve had payment issues with them throughout the lifetime of my broadband. Since their communication with customers is so poor, I have no idea about what is going on with my account until I am disconnected and have to call them.
The final straw was when they permanently disconnected my service and sent me a text message 1 day before the disconnect saying ‘sorry to hear you are leaving us’ as if I had requested this. On calling them THREE TIMES and being told various things by different agents, on the third try I was told it was disconnected because they no longer offer the broadband tariff I was on a 23 month contract for, only fibre, which is not supported in my area. End of story, no reconnection, compensation, apology or anything. I was shocked and appalled that they would just leave a customer high and dry like that, not give enough warning for me to at least sort out alternative broadband and then being told various lies by their agents. Please do not fall in the same trap I did and avoid Vodafone at all costs. The broadband is sketchy and not that super fast anyway and you end up with price hikes every other month too. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

Vodaphone has the worst customer service. Spent over 5 hours on several phone calls but no resolution. Had to cancel in the end, very frustrating talking to lots of people and explaining it over and over again. Moved house twice in the last 6 months and both times they have disconnected the broadband weeks before we were due to move. They tried to blame openreach for disconnecting us but they were told the correct dates at least 10 times. Terrible company, not supportive of key workers and those who need to work from home, avoid at all costs.

Their technical team is one of the worst teams to speak to in terms of:
1: Listening to you describe the problem.
2: Providing clear and easy to understand updates and next steps.
3: Making you jump through pointless hoops.
I called in with a problem on my broadband that started 9-10am Friday morning.
Many calls, hours of hold time and after reaching out to their twitter team, I'm still no closer to them being anything that I'd call hopeful.
I need to wait 24-48 hours (3rd time I've heard this now) and we'll see if they can help.
When it works it's fine, but that's like anything in life and a pretty low bar to hit.

I signed up for Vodafone’s 18 month super-fast broadband deal. At first, everything seemed fine. Set up was okay, connection was stable and consistent.
My main issue and the reason why I have given Vodafone 1 star is because of customer service. When something goes wrong it is a BATTLE to try and get it resolved.
Problems first arose when someone mistakenly entered my address for an EE broadband account. I notified Vodafone immediately and was reassured that the attempted switch would not happen. I have proof of this conversation through web chat logs receipted to my email.
What happened next can only be described as a hilarious farce. The switch to EE continued. On 22nd July my broadband was deactivated and I received a “sorry to see you go” email at 4am. I had no prior notification of this switch continuing, and no knowledge of who was trying to pursue the broadband switch.
Upon seeing the “sorry to see you go” email, I contacted Vodafone immediately to cancel the broadband switch once again. At this stage I was told by the sales representative that my account had already been deactivated and the only way they could fix this mess is by setting up a whole new broadband order. The earliest they could get me back up and running was 14 working days.
I work from home, so this came as a huge blow to me that I could be deactivated from my account without my consent, without my authorisation, and without ANY warning. Vodafone have been incredibly obstinate and have tried to minimise this incident as much as they can.
At first I was offered a free dongle and free-of-charge data plan to tide me over whilst I wait for my broadband to be reactivated. I was told to go to a Vodafone store that same day and that I could collect one, free-of-charge. That turned out to be an oversell – I had to purchase the dongle and data plan. I tried to chase Vodafone for reimbursement for this, as I was promised and reassured multiple times over the phone. I eventually got a refund for the dongle, but the airtime bill came to £200+ (after repeated promises, recorded from online chat, assuring me I would not be charged). I then had to get in contact AGAIN, only to be told that I need to pay the bill repeatedly, until someone who knew how to read the notes on my account realised that I was in fact promised a free airtime bill.
Now we’re in August, and my new broadband order has been activated. It took a whole day to call up someone competent so they could ‘activate’ my internet connection, even though the line had now been switched to Vodafone and I should’ve been able to just plug in the router and go.
I was promised (lol) that once I reactivated my broadband with Vodafone, adequate compensation could then be discussed. Obviously this isn’t happening. AVOID VODAFONE AT ALL COSTS.
What happened to me is called slamming, and it's against ofcom's rules. I've been in contact with ofcom about this because Vodafone are truly ridiculous and about as helpful as a speck of dust. MY advice to other people is to get ofcom involved in any wrongdoing you suspect from Vodafone or other telecommunications companies.

Been with them six months, absolutely terrible.
1. Signing up was a nightmare - refused to accept details, tried to charge me the wrong amount, repeatedly rejected my card details.
2. When it went live service very very patchy - constant drop outs and slow speed. An issue that has never been resolved to my satisfaction.
3. Customer service appalling - nothing is ever done, you have to explain everything ten times over.
4. The router is sh*t.
Stay away from this clown company.

Contract was meant to start 14/12/22 but did not start 28/12/22 I called to ask why it didn’t happen after being charged an enormous sum from the previous company as I was out of contract. The advisor said they were sorry it did not start when I requested and I would be compensated £5.25 per day to cover my other charges up until 28th. I went on their chat today and after two and half hours on chat to be told they would compensate me £10 as there was no record of their employee advising me this. I refused this and have been referred to another system which will take 48 hours and they will let me know. Wish I had read more reviews before I went with Vodafone .

Switched to vodafone for broadband and home telephone. 5 days and we are still barred from making outgoing phone calls. Customer service completely inept, they are literally inventing answers and keep telling us that everything has been resolved and in 1-2 hours the phone will be working. Will definitely not pay for this non-service. Avoid if you can.

Several weeks ago I was offered faster broadband on a promotion. I followed the link thinking it would be a straightforward process. Of course it wasnt. Ive spent my time talking to people I could barely understand. Made appointments that noone turns up for. Then there's excuses stating BT Openreach are too busy. In the end I gave up and told them to do what they want. They are truly, all over the place. Poor service.

I joined Vodafone in July 2022 and they've been surprisingly bad. The connection has dropped regularly since the beginning, but in the last 10 days the internet has had complete outages for hours at a time, getting increasingly worse. Prior to this, I was supplied by Talk Talk and, latterly, Plusnet without issue. I regret joining Vodafone and hope - given that their poor service breaches the contract - to switch to someone else soon.

Didn't get as far as being a customer but want to review them based on my brief interaction with them today.
Went on to 'chat' to ask if Vodafone would increase the contract yearly by RPI as they do with their mobile contracts.
Was told 'yes' which is bad enough but agent then told me this was what they were told to do by OFCOM. Well if that's the level of support now then I wouldn't want to see what is was like as a customer. I decided not to transfer to them.

Switching from Vodafone today. Have spent 12 months trying to get access to the online MyVodafone account, to manage my broadband, which their technical team refuse to help with as 'it is nothing to do with them'. This isn't me forgetting a password. I have been through the process of setting this up 5 times now and receive an email each time confirming my username and password. I then go to log in with those same details and get an error code saying that I can't access my account. Despite this nonsense lasting 12 months Vodafone won't help. Absolutely shocking customer service - please avoid at all costs.

Extremely bad customer service, very disorganised, no coordination between employees, everyone is saying different things!!! I referred this service to my friend and he has to wait 2 months to get the service. Now, I wanted t transfer the ownership of one broadband to my friend and this is what happened since last 5 days:
I called them today and they said the transfer of ownership will start on 23rd of May and I need to fill a form on that day?! Before 3 days I spoke with another person at Vodaphone and he told me that the transfer of ownership will start on 2nd of May and he gave me a link to a form and asked me to fill it and I did, Last week we filled another form at a Vodaphone store in Derby City in the UK transfer the ownership and they said it would happen in 10 days!!!. They sent me 2 emails asking me to call the department of transferring but when I am calling them everyone is saying different things. NOT recommended unless if you want to make yourself in a big trouble. I would never refer to anyone or recommend to anyone else

STAY AWAY If you work from home, relying on internet access, DO NOT trust these guys to honour their promise. I signed up with Vodafone for a home broadband in mid December 2022. Connection date was set for 2nd of January but within a week they postponed my activation day to 10th of January. I waited patiently as we had a contract. The date came and it did bring no broadband signal. Apparently something happened, no one thought it was a good idea to at least inform the customer that things are not happening AT ALL! Nevertheless, the "FLYING START" team (as they call themselves) tried to sign me up again few times on the next day. The cheek of it! I am not waiting for another month to be told that I need to re submit my order again and again. Customer service advisors are brilliant, however they are not able to rectify the problem for you. So, look elsewhere and save yourselves the troubles, delays and wasted time.

As per other reviews on here. The WiFi router is absolute junk! The signal constantly drops out. The router has to be rebooted at least once a day and sometimes multiple times in order to regain a signal. When it works, it’s great! The problem is, it fails to work more than it does!
Customer service is an endless loop of being fobbed off. This issue has been going on for two months now. First I’m told an update didn’t install correctly, then I’m rod it’s a cache issue, then they reset the router, then it’s more updates! The excuses go on and on. I have requested a replacement or an envy - they won’t provide either. The latest response is, everything is ok from their side, so as far as they are concerned, there is no problem - even though I can’t connect to the internet! I was also told to run an Ethernet cable and use that instead!
The company is a joke. I’d like to know why ofcom are not taking them to task, as they are in breach of contract by failing to provide the service being paid for - and seem incapable of resolving the issue.
To cap it all, they couldn’t provide me with a copy of their complaints procedures. Only to say they have raised a complaint on my behalf! Utter and complete nonsense.
I will not be using them again.

Tonight I was on customer contact centre chat, managed out of India for an hour, after 15 mins agent 1 passed me to agent 2. Agent 2 asked me question after question about cancelling including numerous security questions! Agent 2 then said after 45 minutes oh sorry I have just been informed cancellations are closed until 8am can you callback Sir.....
Then when I complained he offered me £5 how to make it much worse.

Vodaphone broadband has a very patchy signal. Great when working, but regularly loses signal for extended lengths of time. I tried contacting vodaphone a couple of times, but all they did was try to sell me a more expensive package.
When I came to cancel my broadband due to moving house, they stung me for a £29 cancellation fee, in spite of my protestations.
Avoid vodaphone broadband. In my opinion they are a disgrace.

BEWARE - A few weeks ago we started experiencing intermittent service and slow speeds , so I complained and after more than an hour on the phone they agreed with my theory it wasn’t my laptop or my connection that the was the problem ! I insisted they raise the query and I never heard back . After 4 online chats and 2 calls all iniatated by ME not VF they have agreed I can cancel at no cost or fee as they cannot provide the speeds or close to it at peak times . They are not delivering on their contractual obligation - that’s all! After 4 weeks and them saying it’s a BT Opemreach problem they now say it’s been resolved as best as possible as it has to do with congestion and overcrowding on their lines. Basically they were customer greedy and are now chocking on their greed ! I’m going to write to the ombudsman’s as it’s poor service and poor sales management that have led people into signing up for something they cannot deliver on ! I have 3 mobile contracts too so it’s not like I’m trying to get it for free but I’m not paying £20 / month when I should be paying £2 as I only get 10-15% speeds at peak times . C u VF BB .
