This is a first day review. All kit delivered on time with easy instructions. Wifi up and running in minutes, phone line a little longer to make/ receive calls. As was suggested in paperwork, internet speed started sluggishly but has really picked up as the day has gone on. Haven't given 5 stars throughout because this is day 1 but I am very pleased so far.

After switching from BT and reading reviews about Vodaphone I wasn't expecting a smooth switch over. "I WAS WRONG" my switch-over date was 29/06/22 the engineers from Openreach called at 8.15 am and asked where I wanted the connection terminated and as I have a mesh system to extend out my wifi they took a longer route and fitted it right next to my existing setup and made it very easy the set up to what I had before. On completion of the installation which involved a fiber cable running about 200mtrs and clipping it to my neighbors house wall for 10mtr and then stretching the fiber cable to my house and running it to the back of my property(a very neat job well done) After unpacking the route etc and setting it all up, I was back online and all was working apart from the phone which I was told by the engineer it is the following day for that to start working. Just as he promised it did. I did have to telephone customer service on the day as we were not sure where the phone was plugged in and after a long conversation given the wrong information, figured it out for ourselves eventualy so cs lose a star for that. The performance is over double what I was getting with BT and has been stable throughout. Overall I have been impressed by the engineers (Openreach) and Vodafone and hopefully long may it continue.

Utter rubbish, since day 1, I have had issues with this service. They sent me an extender to boost my signal and still it does nothing but drop out!
I have asked to be released from my contract as it’s not fit for purpose and today they asked me to start undoing the faceplate on the BT Open reach socket - this should not be expected of customers. AMD still they won’t let me leave, instead promising yet again to fix the issue

So disappointing! Had Vodafone in West London before moving to NW, was good, never had real issues with it. Since we've got it installed here, first they couldn't get it live because of some sort of line issue, then some exchange issue, after another week another exchange issue. Customer Care DON'T CARE, all they know is "we can't guarantee Wifi speed". Dear Lord, does 0.78 even qualify as speed? Wasted hours on the phone with them, I am pretty sure there is something with this router, but they won't bother sending an engineer to check it, because I am - they say - getting the minimum guaranteed speed in the router. I can't connect with a cable, I have a laptop and don't want to be tied up to the a cable. I understand that wi-fi is slower than ethernet, but 0.something is not even speed!

Switched from uber expensive BT has soon as Fibre was available in my area and what can i say.
Vodafone took care of everything and the switch over was totally seemless, everything was up and running on the day stated.
I'm on the 78MB fibre package, my guaranteed speed is 76MB which is delivered consistantly my upload is 20MB.
Well done Vodafone for providing a brilliant product and super customer service who kept me informed every step of the process.

Switched to Vodafone fibre from basic sky broadband assuming it would be better as basic sky wasn’t great.....but oh no Vodafone fibre is worse than the basic slow sky broadband. I can be the only person browsing on my phone and all I get is that whirling circle all the time. And the app is a joke saying it’s working faster than it should be ...AVOID!!

I was with Vodaphone for nearly 2 years. When I joined I didnt get the promised speed, it was only 25Mbps, they discounted the cost. for the last few months i was getting drop out and speeds of less than 10Mbps, I kept having to reboot the router. Their help team were no use. just moved to BT and now getting 47Mps, wish I moved earlier, Vodaphone had me under the impression that I was only getting 25Mps to the property.

I read some very poor reviews of Vodafone broadband. Despite this, I took a chance for a few reasons. Firstly, they're £30 per month cheaper than BT. Secondly, I've had excellent service from them for my mobile phone accounts. And thirdly, they have a minimum speed guarantee or money back. Also, I was going on the belief that if the line was fast and reliable with BT (it was), it'd be a good foundation for Vodafone to work on. I have absolutely no idea if there's any technical merit in this belief, but I went with it anyway! My go-live date was 02-05-2018. No service by midnight, so I contacted them the next morning. They stated that BT/Openreach hadn't done what they were supposed to at their end. They said they'd look into it and get back to me. They apologised and credited my phone and my partner's phone with 50Gb of data each by way of apology and to see us through. Soon after, I received an email from BT that confirmed what Vodafone had told me. The service kicked in the next day. First day speed, 20Mbps. Next day, up to 32. Currently sitting at 46. I've paid for 76, guaranteed 55, and it seems to be gradually climbing in that direction. Their hub looks great, has good coverage in my 3 bedroom bungalow (performs better than BT hub in a blackspot in master bedroom) and I have not experienced any drop in service thus far. I have 4 firesticks, 4 echo dots, 2 smartphones, 2 tablets, 2 games consoles and 3 smart home devices connected to the hub. Six or seven of these devices could be operating simultaneously, and I have had no issues. So, one week in and I'm very happy. I know it's early days, but so far, so good. And I also have to say that I've always had very good customer service from Vodafone, and this time was no different. It appears that they are making a genuine attempt to mend their reputation in this regard, although as stated, I've never had a bad experience.

DO NOT USE!
Ordered my broadband on October 10th still don't have it! I've had 4 activation dates, none of which have been met. Wasted more than 22 hours of my time trying to get to the bottom of the issue and still no one can tell my what the problem is our when they will actually provide me broadband.
In the end it was easier to cancel and go elsewhere than listen to their crappy hold music or wait for another call from them that doesn't materialize.

Appallingly bad. Avoid Vpdafone at all costs.
When I contracted with them they assured me that my exchange and line would be able to handle the 76mbps download speeds. Shortly after installation I rang to complain and they put me off ewith some tests. Today I was getting 13Mbps rang again and they have now said my exchange and line are not capable of handling the speed. I tried to cancel my contract on the basis that they had sold me something they should have known they could not provide and they have told me sorry you can't because more than 30 days have expired. Yet in their instructions they say it can take up to 30 for the speed diagnostics to be completed and we should not worry or turn the router off! Wow talk about a scam. A totally unethical company. NEVER AGAIN !!!

Switched to vodafone for broadband and home telephone. 5 days and we are still barred from making outgoing phone calls. Customer service completely inept, they are literally inventing answers and keep telling us that everything has been resolved and in 1-2 hours the phone will be working. Will definitely not pay for this non-service. Avoid if you can.

I signed up for Vodafone's 500MB fibre broadband deal. There was about a month's wait for the fibre-to-the-premises connection to be installed, but as soon as that was completed the connection was running and download speeds were up in the 480/490 MB region, and always well above the 250MB minimum performance guarantee.
Until the two week colling off period came to an end!
After two weeks, download speeds started to deteriorate and were at times as low as 50MB - one tenth of what I was paying to receive and one-fifth of the minimum guaranteed performance. Even using a LAN cable, rather than WiFi connection, made no difference.
Contact with Vodafone's so-called "customer service" team was an unpleasant experience. I was treated like and at one point inferred as being an idiot! They blamed the number of devices running from the router (TV, mobile deveices, PC, etc), whereas only a single device was in fact connected.
It was impossible to make any headway, and it appears I am left locked into the remaining 22 months of a contract where Vodafone is failing to deliver the service it is contracted to provide.

I contracted to take Vodafone's Fibre 500 product for two years. For the first two weeks after it was installed, everything was fine. Download speeds were up around 490MB/second. Very soon after, however, I noticed that speeds had plummeted and now it is rare for speeds to get above 90 - 95 MB/second - well below Vodafone's minimum guaranteed speed.
I contacted Vodafone and the customer service advisor could not have been more condescending and insulting. They said there was no problem with my connection and the slow speeds were due to having too many devices connected via Wifi, such as TV, iPads and PC. Only two devices were connected, so the customer service advisor was talking nonsense! Even an ethernet connction from my PC into the rouiter was unable to improve download speeds, which remained in the high 90s MB/second.
I can work with the speeds delivered, but that's not the point! I am paying for up to 500 MB/second with a minimum speed guarantee of half that, whilst receiving less than 100MB/second. Vodafone doesn't care thgat it is breaching its own service guarantees.
I am stuck with Vodafone for another 22 months, but I won't be renewing mu contract with them unless they sort out the issues with my connection. I know that the infrastructure can deliver 500MB/second, because it was doing that for the first two weeks after installation. Coincidentally, two weeks is the "cooling off period" during which the contract can be cancelled without penalty... Sharp practice on Vodafone's part?

Absolute worst company I've had the pleasure of dealing with. Customer service doesn't know what it's doing at all. Was promised full fibre. Promised an engineer that didn't turn up although I took the day off to see him. Next time he went to wrong address. Finally after a month and a half of waiting with no internet told me I couldn't have full fibre. Rubbish.

I have been with them for while but lately their broadband has become unusable. Been over a month since Ive had a day that I can use it. Here is an example of last 2 days.
Mon 5 October
Router dropped internet: 3.30pm,3.48pm, 4.05pm, 5.16pm, 6.55pm,7.27pm,7.40pm,7.54pm, 7.59pm 8.11pm, 9.25pm. After that I gave up
Tues 6 October
Dropped: 12.34pm, 12.24pm, 1.47pm, 1.58pm, 2.26pm, 2.45pm, 3.04pm, 3.28pm, 3.41pm, 3.46pm, 4.31pm, 5.44pm, 5.53pm, 6.00pm, 6.18pm gave up
Ive had 2 engineers telling me everything is ok and then I face the dropouts after they have left.
As for their help, trying to get through on phone is almost impossible and their online chat is a joke.
I have now tried to make a complaint using their online form etc. Will see how that goes. Not holding my breath.
I see I'm not the only one who has had a bad experience with them. Who does reliable broadband?

If I could give a minus review I would. The WORST company I have dealt with by far. Supposed to activate broadband services on 21st November. Two weeks later, still nothing. Spent hours on phone on three occasions, most of the time on hold listening to Fleetwood Mac. People I speak with are useless and can't resolve problem. Can't even explain clearly what problem is. They don't acknowledge e mail complaints or complaints sent by post. Trouble seems to be that they mis sell something they can't actually provide. They claim they can supply to your postcode but when it comes down to the activation date then it turns out that they don't actually have the capacity to supply what they said they could. You have to come to this realisation yourself as they won't tell you. They will just give you vague assurances that it will be fixed by Open Reach at some vague future date.

Ordered a new broadband package. Day before internet was due to go live still no router so contact Vodafone. After an hour found out due to an error their side the order didn't go through so would have to start from scracth and have two more weeks no internet.
As the order didn't go through I wasn't entitled for compensation.
I have just placed and order with Sky now and it is was easy!

Terrible broadband we pay for 76mbps but we are only getting about 9 - 10 mbps .
Had a bt engineer out to test and reset the line was fine for a few hours he suspected a possible router fault . then back to slow speeds , contacted Vodafone to be told I would be sorted but after a few days rang again to be told it could take 10 - 14 days to resolve. Avoid if you are after a reliable service in my opinion they do not care . Will be contacting ofcom to report

Vodafone have delivered the worst customer service I have experienced from any supplier ever. As a small business owner with 11 phone lines on the account, they make it very difficult to get any help at all when you need it (even to take out more lines). They don't want to speak to you and do everything possible - via their awful automated lines - to punt you off to a web chat, FAQ, or anything which means they won't have to actually speak to you and provide a service. Webchats are ridiculously long winded and the waiting times for calls are terrible. Expect to waste an hour of your time if getting in contact.
Add in the despicable sneaky charges which get bolted on to your account even when you expressly ask them not to be (for Securenet).
They cut off one of lines in February in error and when they were asked to reconnect it, they started the contract again (and started charging us for securenet again). The line should now be out of contract, but they are now claiming it is not out of contract because it was connected in February! I've raised 2 complaints about this and weeks later have had zero updates. I'm currently on the phone to them while writing this (1hr and 2 mins so far) and it's quite obvious they have no idea about the complaint!
It appears that when you enter into a contract with Vodafone, you are obliged to uphold your side of the bargain; i.e. paying bills on time, but they aren't obliged to uphold any minimum level of customer service. You, as the customer are just required to suffer whatever standards they wish to offer (or not). When the service becomes so unbearable that you need to change providers, they'll gladly charge you excessive cancellation fees for the pleasure of having suffered them. They clearly have no regard for their reputation and the lost revenues they must suffer through the terrible customer reviews. I'll certainly do my best to make sure as many people on as many sites as possible are aware of what they will be facing if they are thinking of using Vodafone.
539. That's the number of minutes spent on the phone with Vodafone in 2021 so far, sorting out issues which they've caused! And that's before I just discovered that once again they haven't cancelled one of the lines we asked to be cut off ages ago and we're still being charged.
Would strongly urge any business owner who values their own time and some simple customer service to stay away. Will be moving all of our lines to another provider.

If I could give no stars for satisfaction I would.
Supposed to have Gigafast broadband on 24th September but installers messed up the installation blaming City Fibre for a blocked duct.
City Fibre came out on the 28th and repaired the mess that Vodafone had done and even put the cable through to our back door so that Vodafone could come out to attach it to the router.
Since then nothing from Vodafone despite constant calls to them being passed from person to person.
Today spoke to a manager who said Vodafone couldn’t do anything until City Fibre had been out even though I kept informing him they had been out and left the fibre optic cable hanging outside to just be connected.
Sent a complaint through Resolver on the 1st October and Vodafone can’t even be bothered to reply to that!
Terrible service and intend to cancel Vodafone and carry on with old supplier EE which surprisingly is still working because Vodafone didn’t do the swap over on 24th August.....thankfully.

I have been with Vodafone for just over two years now. Started on the superfast plan but didn't quite get the speed I was supposed to however as stated vodafone gave me a discount for the remainder of my contract. I've had no connection issues as others mention and I have always had good experiences with customer services who have always been very polite and helpful resolving any issues. My area now has the full fibre broadband on offer which I'm due to have connected tomorrow. For me Vodafone have been my best provider for the money.

Hi All,
I don't know why this company even exists. I changed provider and supposed my new provider Vodafone will start on 04/10/2018. Now that I am writing is Saturday 10/11/2018 yes November it's not a mistake and I still haven't got broadband. Useless customer service, useless managers full with lies and promises. I requested all my recorded conversations and notes from my file and no one reply me yet. The biggest joke was on Monday, they send me message that I have to pay £56.65 and when I called them for maybe 50th time so far they told me that the bill is from my mobile phone and the internet that they provide me hahahaha, by the way I haven't got mobile contract with Vodafone or any other company but they insist, they even inform me the mobile number

I am lucky to livr in gigafast broadband area, so I took a chance to sign. And here where the pain started. The trouble to agree connection day, cancellation from their side, misunderstandings snd ect. Ok, after 18month the same story. I keep calling customer service for contract update, but nothing happens. They changed the speed I did not ask for, they increased my bill and when I talk to them they keep me on hold and promise to call and then I get text saying they couldn't reach me. Truly Nightmare

Vodaphone has the worst customer service. Spent over 5 hours on several phone calls but no resolution. Had to cancel in the end, very frustrating talking to lots of people and explaining it over and over again. Moved house twice in the last 6 months and both times they have disconnected the broadband weeks before we were due to move. They tried to blame openreach for disconnecting us but they were told the correct dates at least 10 times. Terrible company, not supportive of key workers and those who need to work from home, avoid at all costs.

I am promised call backs which never come. There were problems from the start and I know that a good perportion of the staff know very little about broadband
