Worst service provider I have ever experienced.
Been a customer less than 5 months,
The initial connection was late and faulty, have to reset my router several times every week.
Had no Internet at all for two weeks in June, no automatic compensation, even though they are signed up to Ofcom compensation scheme.
Speed is no where near as fast as they quote.
I've spent literally hours on the phone with them, have been cut off several times.
Useless, hopeless, pathetic service and terrible, terrible customer service.

When things go wrong, very poor customer service. Intermittent broadband for 4 months. They promised to fix it and compensate me, no real passion to retain a loyal customer. So now moving to another supplier. I would not recommend talktalk.

The worst company I have ever dealt with. Customer service is not in the UK unlike what the adverts say, very rude people and you can't understand anything they say. We signed up 5 days ago and we are cancelling today and even that is a difficult task for them...We were mis sold the internet and tv package - internet speed slower than the minimum promised, tv signal is awful. We wanted to log a complaint but their system for complaints was down. We wanted to speak to a manager, the manager was away.

Lovel are also an awful firm save your money for a firm that knows what they are doing.......?

Their reps even fill in the form with out asking you the question who doesn't want that

If you could provide 0 stars I would have done so. What an organisation you agree to a new contract they don't deliver on it and then move you to a fall back rate without advising you. When you subsequently write to them they seem uncapable of reading the content of your correspondence and actually responding to your queries. I then tried writing to their CEO and the letter was answered again by the same individual who again didn't answer my queries but asked me call them only to have my call rejected as I am no longer a customer given I moved to another service provider.

Now writing to the regulator as it's a otal waste of time dealing with them when they fail to honour contract terms funny thing is they want to punish customers with penalties if they don't stick to the terms of their contract.

Trash! Run away from this service ! The Internet service is patchy , two laptops connected and it no longer works , if you have 10 minutes to spare every time you want to open a new page then this is the right service for you (spot the irony). Don’t recommend! They might be nice when you connect but it will be the only one, after that they hang up on you , ignore the email and every other rude attitude you can imagine.

Speed and reliability are not too bad BUT the customer service is absolutely diabolical. Worldwide call centres and the people you speak to have no interest in what you, the customer, wants unless it involves you giving them more money. They can be quite rude and sharp with you and half the time could not comprehend what I was after. Absolute wast of time.

We are the cheapest. We promise to never raise your prices. This is true. What they don't reveal in the sales pitch is that the call when they sign you up is the only nice call you will have with them, the only one from a UK call centre. Every other interaction with them us to people all over the world that do not listen to you, that cut you off and the internet is patchy at best, And this is what they call faster fibre, what fibre are you using? Cotton?
I dislike them with every fibre (get it) of my being. I ordered from them and I have been getting buffering when trying to stream. yes there was a time when that was normal and we just took it but it's 2019! So after 5 days of this I say I want to cancel and they say my cooling off period ended before I even got connected as it was so far in the future. So how can I know if I do want to stay??? You see how they trick you. We cant connect you for 3 weeks but you only have 2 weeks to decide if we're any good. Avoid! Walk walk away. If I can save just one customer from this misery I am currently battling, my work is done. Please spread the word!

At first all seemed ok for 6 months,then speed slowed down so much not able to use laptop or phone on wifi at same time.have had 2 engineers out new modem new master sockets and wifi booster sent and still no better.the staff on chat go through the same messages every time and not very helpful. called up to cancel and I still have to pay cancel my contract even though its been on going for over a month. even had the cheek to say let us try and fix the problem within 30 days to leave contract free of charge. what makes them think they can fix the problem? now when not before. Do not use this company. I am now going to try bt or use a wifi hub from 3 gotta be better can not be any worse than these cowboys.

Folks, don't get TalkTalk, they are worse than appalling. Currently I have no connection at all, an engineer was supposed to contact, none has, still waiting.

From the moment of installation it has been a complete nightmare. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Customer service is so bad it's funny - almost. It's like Groundhog Day on bad psychedelics.

I made a mistake subscribing to them, and will be cancelling my contract this week. Don't make the same mistake I did. Stay away from TalkTalk, you won't regret it.

If customers use the community forums, problems are sorted out far more quickly. There are a few TT professionals on there, who do their very best, plus you get useful peer support and advice. For that reason I am giving them 4 stars.

Not so good Broadband speed. Just about OK at c 10mbps, but years ago they managed much better than this on "Simply Broadband". The current "Fast" version has probably been downgraded to help push customers into taking out the Fibre options. More noticeable connection loss in recent months too, despite a new router.

A tendency to change terms of service unilaterally, without warning, and watch out for the boost elements of the contract NOT being fixed, despite superficial headline descriptions. Only the Broadband and line rental get fixed.

Boosts carry a 1 month minimum commitment or you will have to pay extra for breaking the minimum term.

speeds are a scam!! Frustrating customer service
Terrible customer service I was emailed in July saying I wasn’t getting speeds I payed for. After two engineers vists they couldn’t resolve problem customer service tried have you switched it on and off again? Shall we send another engineer? Each call taking at least 40mins of my life to get no where. I leave yesterday to go to BT miraculously they fixed the issue (very suspicious are they limiting customers speeds even though they pay extra for fibre?) after I confirmed I was leaving the speed dropped off again so it’s quite clear where the issue lay and the 2 engineers vists where a waste of time I was a loyal customer for 5 years I would never use these scam artists again as it’s clear they limit the speeds also I was not offered compensation despite paying for service not received

over 2 10 day periods I received on my superfast broadband less than 5mbps instead of the 20 to 35 mbps as promised
both times talktalk admitted liability but were reluctant to compensate
first time I received £38 and for the same thing the second time £3 !!!!
intermittent loss of service is a regular thing and trying to get sense from their asian call center is a waste of time

The worst customer service I've ever had.

Promised a 12 month contract for £24.00 per month.

Been charged £38.50 every month, spent over 11 hours on the phone with talk talk across 7 calls in my first month with them.

I am not 3 months into the contract and it is still not sorted.

Couldn't give a worse review of the customer service and situation.

Big problems with connections ,very very slow internet,but the worths of all custumer service. The minimum speed they promise is 10mb I had about 2mb!!!!! They said that to fix it ,it will take 30 days but I still have to pay for that superrrr slow internet...

Why is this business allowed to continue. An eighteen month contract resulted in 11months without broadband and three months without a a phone line. Brainless moron call centre no help. Any sane government would close this business immediately.

Absolutely nightmare customer service if you want to cancel mess you around so much and lie about package speeds Mbps I'd say avoid at all costs call center mess you around and keep you on the phone an eternity in the hope you hang up 41 mins on hold to cancel. 2 mins to join. Tells me everything

I am unhappy at all with their service. My broad band keeps cutting off and I have to change to my mobile data most of the time when I am planning to do something important like paying my bills online because I am worried that the connection will stop half way through the process and I have to repeated it again.I keep complaining about it and when ever I chat or call the same check and the same procedure but no difference. The broad band start to work ok for few days and the same problem starts again.
When I chat with the agent they keep advertising about another expensive broad band option which is I am not interested in.
I am planning to leave them.

I have my mum moved in with me because she has dementia, i tried to cancel her contract but was met with a complete bunch of idiots, its all very well having people in India dealing with British problems but they dont understand a word your saying and certainly dont understand what dementia is ,even though i explained everything they still wanted to speak to my mum and call the house that is empty with no phone ?? unbelievable, complete morons

I'd suggest anyone who wants broadband and a decent service to stay away you will get nothing but brickwalls in your way, I am still fighting with talktalk for compensation which for those who don't know majority of broadband services offered these company have signed up for a AUTOMATIC COMPENSATION SCHEME which means if you are receiving less or no broadband speed that you sifned up for your entitled to £8per day, TALKTALK won't tell you this, you ask TALKTALK for compensation they change the conversation, TALKTALK advisors are overseas and this is just another hurdle trying to get information, with regards to INFORMATION you will get told one thing and then ve told another from someobe else. All in all I've now had to request a DEADLOCK LETTER, MY COMPLAINT TO BE FORWARDED TO THE CEO, I also need to wait 4 more weeks to open a complaint to a independent company cifas or someone like this as I DINT TRUST TALKTALK, and feel its the only way to get closure, BEWARE STAY AWAY, it's still on going as I write this, the complaint was opened 24/7/2019, problem still not rectified, I am drained, I have No energy now and this is probably there tactics, I've also found out you can ask or request to speak a ENGLISH ADVISOR, IN ENGLAND and I suggest do it, but first things first just DONT SIGN UP, SIMPLE you only get what you pay for.

Just noticed this morning in the press talk talk is one of the worst providers for customer service in the UK and i can see why. I pay £18.95 for broadbanf that is terrible i have to reboot every night 3-4 times. I dont download anything I only use the internet and facebook only 2 of us in the house doing the same. tried asking for fibre but the price is more than i can get with other providers. Not great service after been with them for several years just have to bite the bullet and see the last 4 months of contract out and move to new provier talktalks loss

Ridiculous. Engineer supposedly set up our wifi yesterday after we waited 2 weeks for it to be set up. Didn't check it properly and we have no broadband. I called yesterday and the lady on the phone said its because it takes 24 hours for it to work. When I questioned it she shouted at me and told me the tech team would tell me no different. Well I spoke to the tech team and she was wrong, apparently there was issues and it should have been working by midnight last night...It wasnt. Called again today and the tech guy said he couldn't get anyone out to me for another week. I said I did not wish to pay for anything until it was all set up and I was receiving their services and he said that wasn't possible, but they MIGHT offer compensation after the engineer comes out. I filed an official complaint, the talktalk manager spoke to me with a cold tone of voice. As a new customer, I definitely do not feel valued. Worst part of it all is calling and speaking to the machine, as you have to call about 10 times to find the right option to get through to an actual person. Very stressful experience leaving me feeling very tearful now. Think I'm going to shop around and see if another broadband provider will be willing to help me out sooner.

Since making the bad decision of moving to Talk Talk, our internet has been extremely slow and cuts out. Download speeds have been 1mb.

Customer Service AWFUL. they sent us two replacement routers which did absolutely nothing to help the situation, and on my last attempt they wanted to send another! They then told me the reason it was slow is that I have to upgrade and pay more for their premium broadband?!?!?! Absolutely no way.

Since cancelling they have been calling on a daily basis - but absolutely nothing would want me to switch back to Talk Talk, even if they offered me free broadband!

Speeds lower than promised. When you call they do a test!! Say everything is ok and ask if anything else they can do lol. When you do a speed test on there website they say you are getting the speeds you signed up for even though it is 10mbps average below. I would imagine there is alot of horses outside there call centre as they are truly 100% cowboys. Have a nice day.

TalkTalk sells a big lie right from the start. Stating you get 67MB unlimited fiber for 25£ pcm. As soon as it came online my speed was 30MB. I have contacted talktalk several (more than 3) times to complain about the fact that this company is charging me 25£ pcm and doesn't give me the promised speed. After checks that they've asked me to do, I had to book an engineer to come for a house visit. The engineer came and mounted some new sockets, but told me straight in the face "you will never get that speed that they've promised you, cause the maximum speed you can have in your area here is 40MB". Sadly because there is no Virgin Media in the area where I live I had to stick with this crappy talk talk internet. Just to mention, my speed has never been higher than 35MB (and I have more than 6 months now with them). I wouldn't recommend this company for someone who needs proper internet speeds. This is just surfing internet, if you need internet for gaming/streaming there is nothing like Virgin Media (especially with the new 350MB fiber now), too bad they're not in my area.

For the customer service and one of the managers name Angela I would give total of big fat 0, no customer service qualities at all, if you don't like your job don't do it. I have chosen the provided by talk talk automated payment over the phone. From over a year I have been raising a complaint that the automated line reads all the numbers but not the numbers on my card, I have been raising the payment issue every month at the end I've been told I should choose a direct debit! Why? I don't have to if there are other options available. YOU! as a provider should fix the problem. Because of this issues I have been paying charges,oh how lovely for this company that the automated payment works with an extra charges, no problem with paying them!!! I will be changing the provider, but I will not leave without the COMPENSATION!!! ENOUGH!

You guys are lucky that I am giving you a '1' when you deserve zero. Why should I have to write to you via the postal system or even phone you when this is an issue regarding absolutely woeful internet access/speed. How ridiculous is the fact that I cannot use a simple email method considering I am paying a lot of money to have internet access via your company. It's a bit like being asked to send a message via carrier pigeon during the 2nd world war when phone, radio and morse code were the norm. Come on, do something.

After six weeks dreaded callsafe is not removed, increase on a bill £2 monthly is not removed despite I was assured increase want HAPPEN.I have asked for adding my husband name as a account owner and no form was send. Better still my request was mixed with obtaining power of attorney! Disgusting service and lengthy calls from my site!!!!!!!!!!!
