These guys want your money, fell for it,got £50 a month package for tv, phone line and broadband, happy days, the longer you stay the more you pay, now, after 3 years of loyal customer service i pay, wait for it, £129 a month, and this is with a reduced tv package, no sports, now the fun starts, try to add on, so easy, try to cancel they make it as hard as possible, i did'nt give in and have cancelled. Don't fall for the trap

I contacted sky to enter a home broadband and Sky TV contract in November 2023, broadband was supposed to be connected on the 8th of December 2023 and I'm still waiting to be installed, engineers have come out several times now, the last time being yesterday the 10th of January 24, again I was told by the open reach engineers that I would be up and running in a day, as they new where the problem was and had in fact known for ages, so I contacted sky today and now the connection date has moved to 16th February, to me this good enough, I have a daughter that is studying for her GCSEs and is currently having mock exams left right and centre in preparation for her final exams, she's not able to revise properly and this could potentially affect her exam results. I'm very unhappy about it and Sky keep fobbing me off.

Complete garbage. Have the essential package of 14 - 20mb because although being in the town centre next to the exchange fibre isn't available. Coincidentally i only receive the guaranteed minimum of 11mb. Can barley watch a youtube video and cant play games whilst being an avid gamer. No solution given when attempting to resolve and potentially upgrade, no help at all given to point me in the right direction. Genuinely the biggest piece of **** iv'e wasted money on.

I was with o2, they were taken over by sky, not much changed.
They are pretty reliable, but the download speed is less than a third of what I am paying for 5mb, instead of 17mb, so now they're putting their prices up, yet again, I intend moving to a different ISP to get fibre, and hopefully a faster connection speed, for the same price I am paying sky. It's time the government sorted out these ISP providers, you pay for one thing, but you get another, it's a scam.

In hindsight the biggest mistake I have ever made is signing up for Sky fibre broadband. It is utter *****. The price you sign up for is not the price you pay. Can’t even watch Netflix or Amazon prime due to not loading due to broadband dropping every other day. Our previous provider worked 100% all the time. We changed provider because previous provider prices were too high. Guess what I am now paying the same price do to Sky Lies. I have another 14 months of this **** I would rate sky with a middle finger. Avoid like the plague.

Stay very clear if sky broadband! Thus is the second time i have had an issue with there broadband; i was with them 5 years ago and changed broadband because it didnt work at all thus leaving me internetless for 6 months before they could give me a "solution" whitch as youve might of guessed didnt work. I then went to BT and they were absolutly fabulous it only dropped out once in the whole year! Now i have gone back to sky because they gave me a deal; i now pay over £60+ a month on tv and broadband and 5 years on they still havent learnt from their mistakes and their customer service is still a gastly as before! THE INTERNET DROPS OUT EVERY DAY! im lucky to be able to connect for an hour each day before it stops working. The wifi is also terrible, i can be in the same room as the router and still only get 1 bar. This is disgracfull expesally when i pay £60+ a month. Im defenatly goinv back to BT becayse worst of all sky wobt compansate me and say "tgey cant do anything" when iv been troble free with BT for 4 years with ZERO complaints. Futhermore, this effcts my sky tv because when i want to chill and go on demand to download a movie it cant download because the internet is utterly, utterly and utterly poor!

I hate sky. We ended up moving house with a 2 month old baby and for 3 weeks we have been without landline and internet. The first time no one turned up, then turned up to say connected to wrong exchange and again today no one turned up. Partner taking time off work to deal with them which has been pointless. No one calls us. We always have to call them. My mobile bill is through the roof as 4 calls to sky have cost £30 and the extra data bundles. Instead of enjoying the new house I keep going to parents house for urgent internet usage. Banking, new bill payments, contact baby doctors etc. And now its causing friction between my partner and I as to how long we should give them. Ii want to leave them for another provider desperately.

    Dont move to sky.
Moving House and current supplier cant supply new address. Decided to use sky for the first time. OMG. Terrible web site, terrible service. They cant cope with a different billing address and supply address. Also same with delivery of router. No option to send to current address.
New address is 100s of miles away basically suggested i waited outside for delivery of router.
One of their advisors suggest that i was causing sky a problem by moving house !!!!! lol
Need serious review of their internal system and IT system needs to be undertaken.
    Dont use

Joined in January 18. Was suggested my speed would be 15mbps.

My actual speed is 4.5mbps. The line drops out regularly and after 6 weeks the price has increased by £1.25 per month.

Need I say more...avoid sky broadband. It may seem cheap but it most definitely is NOT worth it.

again router just all over the place with speeds but had to listen to another idiot telling me that it is fine
Getting 0.6 down and 7 up on a wired connection but the router is reporting 67meg down and my slow speeds might be due to peak times lol
Fuming with the "computer say there is no problem so it must be true culture"
Switched to bt before writing this
Sky router was obviously from the toys r us closing down sale

NEVER AGAIN.

Absolute trash of a service. Opted for the 40mb/s optic fibre plan and for the past year or so, I have NOT even reached close to the advertised speed. To add further insult to the injury, the speeds I am getting is 2-5 mb/s and fluctuates and changes more often than Donald Trump changes his mind. The customer service does not help at all. They simply deny any mishaps on their side saying the connection seems stable on their side. Stable my arse. DO NOT GO WITH SKY! Easily the most regretful decision of my life.

I had Sky Superfast Fibre Optic Broadband installed 13 October 2015 and I wish I had stuck with Three network dial-up dongle. I cannot even browse Amazon because I keep getting "Time out" messages.

Only phoned up once because the Non-Customer Service Rep was so abrupt and gave the impression he did not want to know !!!

Wish I had checked this website before I signed up. I am going to contact Trading Standards to see if they can advise me because this product is not fit for purpose.

The broadband was initially set up swiftly with no fuss and never had any problems with it. The speed was decent for standard broadband (decent enough for my needs anyway). We had some problems with the broadband when we moved house (this was found to be the openreach socket or line at fault) but the Sky customer service person dealt with this excellently. The guy over the phone (which was from a UK based call centre) helped me eliminate all the basic problems and then he booked engineer when it was found that it was a more serious problem. The internet was fixed about a week later with minumum fuss and has been running perfectly ever since. Would definitely recommend.

As i sit here writing a review on my phones Internet as it is more reliable than my sky 23mbps broadband i am confused. My date of installation went as planned and my broadband 10 days later but still havent got a reliable connection many of my evenings plans have ended in me cursing the sky (company). It has been 3 weeks now and still nobody seems to know or care about. Virgin must be loving it who has their number lolz. Also the 'engineer' decided where the phone line was going and installed it like a 5yr old. A massive waste of time. TURN BACK AND AVOID ALL THE STRESS

Don’t know where to start from.As joining them on the 6th of December and having a credit check in they’re Manchester City centre branch I got told that the Sky Glass package & broadband with phone line shall start working on the 10 or 12th of December 2023.I told them that I was going to leave abroad for work but my wife and kids will be home to take the delivery. On the day of delivery the sky glass Tv came and when it got put out the haulier being known as Panther, their driver said Oh theyres no stand & we can’t put it out so I suggest I’ll take the Tv back and leave a note for Sky & you’ll get it delivered in about 48hrs or something. My wife going along with it thinking that it would get delivered let them take the Tv and the 3 multi room pods too.About 4 days later I get an email saying that we cancelled the contract by sending the Sky Glass back.As having the contract in my name nobody could speak to them but me due Data Copy act etc. Anyways as Christmas was approaching there was no broadband or Sky Tv at home.So I called them from abroad and including the wait time the call cost me £90 as I was calling from my phone as Sky couldn’t call me abroad. Anyway I was told to take another contract out and would have another credit check done again.Let me add that whenever any company makes a credit check whether it being a soft check as they put it 20 points get deducted off your credit score. Now that being 40 taken off I get told that your good to go and everything shall be delivered on the 22.12.23.It was an all day delivery & when my family waited and waited and at around uk std time of 6pm my wife rang me up to find out as it hadn’t been delivered.I made a call again to find out that it had been cancelled because I was so called sent an email which I was to sign and I didn’t receive it so hence the contract had to be cancelled.I was so furious and now out of £90 in calls plus the earache of hearing the wife and the kids for spoiling they’re Christmas. Anyways I came back in January and had to get a 3rd credit check done on me and signed up a third time. The date for delivery which was given this time was the 10th of January 24,on the day of delivery they didn’t have the screws for the stand again.Which wanted me to bang my own head against the wall, how incompetent can a big company be??. Anyways I called Sky again to be told them of the situation, but this time I didn’t send the Tv back as I got told that someone would come again by them and Panther hauliers whom they use and will sort the screws out.Come the following evening I get told that someone will come tomorrow to collect the Tv again.I was outraged to get my head around how these people work and run such a big multinational company. Keeping my cool I replied back to that email and got sent a message that that’s a standard message and they will know on that notes what to do.When they tried sending the sky glass the second time I got told that the company who come to set it up being Panther have spare screws and bits and pieces to sort small issues out and I should have told them to sort it out before they leave.Anyways the following day two more guys turn up and again they don’t have the screws & were told that they’re here to pick the Tv up.I had to explain to them again & they left saying to speak to Sky again. In between I made several calls to Sky to get this sorted out.So on Friday which has passed being the 12th of January 2024 someone came again to say that he didn’t have the screws and that we should call Sky again. My wife told them my husband will be very annoyed and will end up throwing that Tv outside including the equipment and told him of the ordeal of what we have gone through to which he said let me check and see if I have spares in the van.Luckily he found some and fixed the stand and we finally got to watch some Tv after a month and a few days.In between when my wife rang up to tell me that he didn’t bring the screws again I called Sky and spoke to someone & asked him that i wanted to speak to a senior supervisor for all the headache which I took and should be compensated to which he sounded half stoned and offered me a measly £15?So is that what Sky values it’s Customers time and values them at?I’m absolutely vexed at myself for taking this contract out and then being messed about so much.I got a phone call this evening by the same guy who offered me the same £15. They can keep the £15 as being in business if your customer is not happy with the way they’ve been dealt with then it’s not really a good or healthy business relationship. And i don’t like to do business with people whom I feel that don’t respect me or my business.Looking at the negative reviews plastered here just shows that Sky doesn’t care about its customers and when I would tell them about my experience then saying u feel for me but doing the opposite to me doesn’t help.Hope that ppl will learn & avoid joining sky & not make my mistake.

I have been with Sky for 3,5 years now and never had any problems. I am only a bit dissapointed in the download (10 mbp) and upload (1 mbp) speed of the internet. Wish that was a bit higher. TV is good. If you cancel extra packages it is cancelled at the end of the month and the next month you don't pay for those packages anymore. Very quick service. Very friendly customer service. Very outstanding with not having any problems for almost 4 years.

Moved to sky about 2 weeks ago from BT. Was dubious but the savings were good. Took the fibre max package and am getting 62mb download and 20mb upload, matching that from BT. Early days but so far am very pleased. The savings will be the icing on the cake.

First had broadband with them about 8 years ago. Our package includes line rental and anytime uk call package with normal broadband -cost about £36 pcm. It is ok if you only have a pc maybe laptops. Add in smartphones, games consoles tablets etc and its pretty slow and unreliable.

I was with O2 until I was transferred to Sky Connect. Initially, broadband was OK but more recently, the download speed drops regularly at 4 pm each weekday and all day Saturday and Sunday until midnight from about 6Mbps to under 1 Mbps. At one point it bottomed at .09Mbps! This, despite my house being about 700 metres from the BT Exchange and 100 metres from the Control Box. Sky Customer Service, however, has been excellent and sent an Open Reach engineer on 4 occasions to try - albeit unsuccessfully - and determine the problem which, I suspect, is caused by extreme 'traffic management'. Sky Customer Service have acknowledged the problem, and I am now in the process of moving to another ISP. I am afraid, therefore, that I could not recommend Sky Connect broadband.

Absolutely appalling! Broadband is slow and router needs constant resetting. Download speeds as low as 700 kps and never faster than 1.4 most. Apparently that's normal according to Sky! Our phone line continually ceases to work and we are only 100 m from the exchange. Avoid Sky at all costs as their services are rubbish and customer service is not existent!!

Internet keeps dropping, if I've watched a few programs on my smart TV the next day my internet goes off...if I use my Sonos speaker for a few hours ..my internet goes off. Like Sky are metering your use? Then the usual switch off and on, unplug wire....it's a fault outside your home- engineer came next day it was broken again. You can't get any tech support before 9am! Just rubbish, I regret getting sky broadband.

It started off well, then over several months the service (internet speed) dropped off! I rang them to ask why, but they insist that it has been improved? It doesn't reflect the reality when I tested the speed online I got 2.54 when the promised 8.0. OK, it was 18.20 when I needed the internet.... but this is something they should prepare for. This is little better than dial-up!

    Disgusted.

Our broadband speed has never gone above 3 mb/sec.
In fact when on dial-up years ago, the speed was better.
During peak periods, I might as well not bother.
As we on SKY CONNECT we are charged £17 per month.
