    at the same address have been with talk talk which is rubbish with bt it was ok with sky it is great.
    constant connection on a very very little amount of drop off and the speed as promised.
    never had an issue in more than 2 years
    so I can not comment about customer service as since two gentlemen came an connected my sky tv and broadband and that's it since then never have had an problem

    I have only been with sky for 4 months and it has been a very turbulent time for me, having become very unwell and having to move homes just a few months after initially installing sky and from start to finish they have been absolutely amazing I honestly wouldn’t have been able to cope had they not been so kind in assisting me.
    Very good broadband never cuts out and the price can’t be beat overall my experience with sky has been phenomenal.

    Sky Broadband Everyday Lite has been fantastic! I moved to Sky from TalkTalk a few weeks ago. At TalkTalk the reliability was terrible. But at sky the speed is good enough but reliability is excellent. I was looking for broadband that wouldn't disconnect when I'm playing online video games, and sky were
    perfect for me. I'm glad the reliability is good and I can make do with the speed.

    no problem with staff. had wifi 9mnths goes off will nilly use our own phne data,programs wnt record sky said wifi reboots between 2am 7am. moved all living room round as cnt have rooter on glass near glass.paying for a service which is not being provided

    Literally only have good thigns to say about sky. I've tried other companies, sky is by far the best in every regard for where I am.

    Is your router acting up? No worries, your browser will automatically do a router reset, you just sit and wait.

    Still a problem? No worries, without even phoning someone you can run a problem test on the website. What's that? You see there's a fault? An engineer already booked? 10 minutes this took without even a phone call? Yes, this is what happened.

    I did this at 10pm, next tday by 1pm the fault had been found and fixed. My speed went from Steam download speed 1.8mb to 4.8mb.

    Before you say anything, I'll have you know any other provider I've tried at best was hitting 2mbps actual download speed. Sky started at about 3-4 then when it dropps I did the thing on their website.

    Anytime I've had to speak to people at Sky, it's been super polite and actually made progress, this is the handful of times it's veen required in the 4+ years I;ve been with them (on and off as I tried other companies who subsequently failed miserably to outshine sky).

    I seriosuly have only good things to say about them which in the modern era of internet providers is a rare thing indeed.

    Awesome service. 13Kb/s here all day every day. Can get a bit slow when downlaoding big files @ 1.14 MB/s and surfing but that's fine. All day everyday local calls to 01,02 and 03 and a lot of country's worldwide thrown in. Netgear router at first was awful but now got Skys Sagem F@st 2504 and never looked back. Been with Sky for nearly 20 years, no need to change.

    Never had anything but amazing service, and so much better than Talktalk was. Constantly receiving over 30meg download and no sign of slowing. My only criticism is the rubbish router, but you can get around that by bridging in your own :)

    I moved from Post Office (Talktalk)following dreadful service and bought the Sky Fibre BB and Talk package two weeks ago.My Hub was not delivered on time and the support person was immensely helpful and it was delivered the next day. My speeds were still as before (0.07Mbs evenings)but the fibre tech support chap was amazing and took me through the Hub settings until my speed was over 21Mbs. I am really impressed with the support I've received, so impressed that I've already upgraded to Sky fibre unlimited.
    Are the many complaints a Regionally based thing I wonder as my experience contradicts the majority view.

    I used 4G for ages while living in the sticks, but when I moved into a fibre area, I decided to switch to sky fibre. I thought the 4G was great, but they put the price up, so byee. After I placed the order, I read a few negative reviews about sky and seriously doubted what I was doing, but it was connected on time and I got 37Mbit from the outset. Hasn't changed since. 4G did show 45+ Mbit at times, but it was erratic, whereas my fibre seems to be pretty consitent and is much much faster when using Netflex et al. Maybe other people have had genuine issues, or maybe they just aren't doing their speed test when no-one else is downloading. Uploading is admittedly slower than 4G, but I don't game, so I don't care. Just worth a mention. Ping latency is much lower with sky tho (150ms 4G vs 50ms Sky)

    Had a router problem after one or two issues finding the correct department.
    Eventually I spoke to SHABANA at the technical office who was so very patient and efficient even phoned back when the line went dead, very impressed.

    We have had a nightmare 10 years with Broadband, ending with an appalling service from Plusnet which had us at breaking point. However, we recently switched to Sky and could not be happier. The broadband switched over exactly as planned and we are receiving 30meg download, 6.33 upload and perfect reliability. To top that, when I called with a query, they offered me Sky+ HD, box sets, set top box and installation completely free for 12 months !! I think all my birthdays and Christmases came at once. Sky have been just amazing to deal with, their advisers are so friendly and helpful and our engineer was just the same. I only wish we had given Sky a chance long before now.

    I know there a lot of bad reviews, but my thinking was that many people feel the need to review (and rightly so) when they receive a poor service, but not many of think to write a positive one when things do go well. I not only believe in better, I now have it too. Thanks SKY.

    I was transferred to Sky from O2 a few years ago and am more than pleased. The speed is consistently 37mbs against the 'offered' speed of 40MBS. I get virtually no drop outs and always get through to someone in minutes and always find that they will do a deal at the end of the contrcat.

    i have been a sky customer for many years.i was using sky fibre unlimited and it was great,fast,reliable and good value.i recently decided to upgrade to fibre max unlimited.have to say I wish I had done it before now.almost double the speed of sky fibre.i am delighted.maybe because I live a few hundred yards from the exchange that I get good speeds.

    We called Sky last Saturday morning because our wifi couldn't work and they said that their engineer would come either Monday or Tuesday to fix our wifi. Amazingly, immediately after that the engineer came before afternoon and we have our wifi live before waiting for Monday or Tuesday! So efficient!

    Very very poor broadband. Came to sky as no Virgin in this building (and yet available across the street)! Initially ok, slow compared to what I was used to (from 50 mbps to 4). Then no internet, dropped connection for hours or days. Can't even watch a half hour show without it dropping. Hours and hours spent with customer services. Credit to them they did their very best but they never got to the bottom of the problem. So glad to be moving back to Virgin territory.

    I have had Sky Broadband for over 2 years having had lot of other providers previously.
    I can honestly say that I have had nothing whatsoever to complain about.
    I have had one or two outages over the years that have lasted for a very short time. I was immediately compensated for this without having to ask or apply.
    Speeds are excellent and reliability is second to none. I am more than happy to recommend Sky Fibre Broadband. I have just renewed my contract and Sky have kindly dropped my price by another 4 pounds. Very happy

    Got to be one of the smoothest interactions with sky we have ever had, and we’ve been with sky for over 10 years now. Patrick got us a deal and a discount, no hassle, no pushy selling, just great and genuine service. Sky should give this man a pay rise!

    As a customer I had a problem with my broadband. It was slow and kept dropping.from the conversation with one of their agent I understood that the land line is really important for the quality of broadband. So we did troubleshooting and we found out the main problem was from the microfilter. They sent me two even for free filters.now 3months later my broadband is up and running perfectly fine.sky is really good company and of course if your broadband is free they will not give credit for the loss of service. Even the engineers are free.that is why I gave 10out of 10.

    fast reliable connection.i get 9mb connection speed all the time.i had a problem with a noisy line rang sky and they got bt out to put a new line from the pole to my house within 24 hours without charging for it.very happy with them.

    Just had faster fibre installed for £25 a month for 18 months and up to now everything went smoothly from ordering to job done. Can't fault speed as I am getting 39 mps at all times so at the moment I can say that I am happy with Sky

    as a long standing sky customer for over 25years I have nothing but praise for the services I receive,tv,phone and fibre.Custmer service is first class as is my fibre etc.never have a problem with speed or dropping out.highly recommend sky to anyone.

    Using the broadband.co.uk speed tester I achieved 37.71mb of my up to 38mb download and 8mb on the upload. I realise that location can affect performance but I am very satisfied with what I receive. Further to this, I got a very good deal off Sky and the service has been virtually faultless for the 8 months I have now had it. I will be renewing it next time around.

    Sky has been great for us for years and we have only just started to have problems with it. I think this is because working from home is a lot more demanding but when we rang to end our contract because we where moving to Zen the person was very understanding and polite overall I would get this if you have young children through their first faze of using technology overall great!

    I have been with Sky for a year now aand have not had any problems.
    The speed has been the same all the time.
    When I have called Sky my call has been answered in under 6 minutes, all in all very pleased with Sky broadband.

    Have had Sky broadband for 5 days now and I am extremely impressed with the quality and speeds. I was happy with TalkTalk, but this deal came cheaper (actually completely free for 12 months, and monthly line rental 100% offset by a M&S voucher).
    Onto the more technical details, ping has gone down from an already very good 21ms to 7 ms (usually fibre broadbands have 7ms ping, not dsl!,) and download speed increased from 10-12mbps to 13-15 mbps! So very very happy!!

    A big thank you to Darren at sky customer services. Rang Friday 11th March 2016 as after having new broadband connected the TV was not connecting. Needed rebooting basically but Darren talked me through the steps 1 at a time. He was very professional and personable,a pleasure to talk to and a complete God send and a credit to Sky.     I cannot understand all the negative reviews on here. I have been with sky since they took over o2. I get a consistent top of the range speed ( 37mbs ) very rarely drops out ( I have not had a drop out for months) and on the odd occasion I need to speak to them I always get through in a couple of minutes. When I did have a problem with my BT main socket they arranged for an Openreach engineer to put in a new up to date socket for free.Top class

    DO NOT LET THE OTHER REVIEWS CHANGE YOUR MIND...Nearly all the reviews on this website are negative because they're all angry. My service with Sky has been fine, there were problems but they were fixed in a timely fashion.

    I have been a client for sky broadband for 3 years and am more than happy with their service . Their customer service team are always friendly and helpful. Technicians are knowledgeable, professional and ready to explain anything I don’t understand as always one of the team member called Amruth assist me and was able to solve the issue immediately he even gave me a discount for my next few months bill as a way of apologising on behalf of sky .
