    AVOID!!!!!
Never had a problem with any other providers supplying 11Mbps before. Too many drop outs with Post office internet, netflix looks like its running on low resolution, 480p. When I rung to cancel it I was told they don't do a trial period and would have to pay £128 to do so. Annoying as it is, unless I upgrade I am stuck with them for the whole year. Also the customer service was like talking to someone who doesn't care for its customers.

Disappointing, to say at least. I have more drop off in a week than with Plusnet in 3 years. I will leave PO broadband as soon as the contract will end (in a year or so). They must improve or many customers will do the same.

I don't normally write reviews, especially negative ones but I felt I had to warn others. Post Office Broadband is associated with Talk Talk. Currently it is the worst service I have ever experienced, its so unreliable you'd think your back in 1995. It cuts off and reconnects daily, not the worst thing but streaming isn't great, the signal is weak and after an update I can no longer access 5Ghz. My kids hate me for getting this shower of *****, as gaming is so laggy and frustrating they now need therapy. Steer clear from this one or I'm sure you'll regret it.

For the price this is a decent isp. Me and partner live in a 1-bed flat and the speed is great for what we need. We stream tv often and it handles it well, some occasional lapses but this is expected with broadband and it’s no worse than any other broadband. Speed is usually around 10-15 mps download but that’s very reasonable for the price (we do live near the exchange which helps though!). It’s also easy to find out when bills are taken and the 1 year contract is great as we have a 1 year lease on our flat. All in all very good for what we pay for, we could be paying a lot more with other companies for very little difference in speed and reliability.

Post Office employ Customer service workers with MANNERS!!!!! Disgraceful! I'm going to change providers at the first opportunity. Been a customer for nearly 5 years!!!! Treated appallingly.

Shocking customer service. Staff are rude. Was getting an internet speed of 4mb/s. Switched to plusnet and the same line is now running at 13mb/s. Post office broadband is actually talk talk .

I am sure by now that anyone scrolling through these reviews will realise that the service you will receive is adsolutely pathetic.
However i can vouch 100% that if you are looking for...
    1. The slowest internet speeds.
    2. Regular connection drops outs several times a day.
    3. Unhelpful and unsympathetic call centre staff.
    4. Excuses, excuses a plenty.
    5. Frustration on a daily basis.
    6. Being Forced to use your mobile data due to no internet connection.
.... Then this is the package to go with as they have built up a proven track record of dissapointing as many customers as possible.

DISGRACEFUL! Was with PO for 18 months, BIG MISTAKE!
Broadband is horrendous, and that's when it decides to work.
Asked them 3 times to cancel direct debit after my contract ended but they still have not and are taking £33 on an initial £20 package.
I have cancelled the direct debit with my bank but they said that PO can still take it if they think there is a contract. They know there is no contract but continue to take my money. I am at my wits end with them. Do not use them, seriously!

They are probably trying to get money any way they can as they have to pay out £58million to their previous workers that they wromgly blamed.
The POST OFFICE ARE THE ROBBERS
Avoid them or pay the price-literally

Most dire internet package I have ever had. Endless connection drop outs and very poor speed. Endlessly rebooting router box. Dial up was more reliable in the 90's. Customer service just log your comments but do nothing.
Counting down the days to the end of my contract.

6.5 is not a bad speed for £15.90 and phone line, I had to upgrade my phone broadband filter which helped as it stopped working for a while and slow speeds the only problem is that they do not contact you when your out of contract and you have to wait until you get a bill to realise

The speed was far below previous companies I used and only went with them because I only wanted a 1 year contract.
The broadband constantly dropped out, customer service was rigid in their interpretation of the rules, ie, they require 2 weeks notice to cancel a line and are unable or unwilling to stop any calls being made from the line while the cease is in place.
Ask to speak to a manager and you will be told someone will call you back in 3/5days.
I would recommend that everyone stays well away from this company as they clearly have no idea how to run a business.

We switched on to Post office Broadband to a less known provider to support the small players in the market. Although we had huge technical issues with our line, which unfortunately weren't resolved we were able to get a full refund and compensation in the end of our term. Customer service was slow in the beginning but worked out in the end. Kudos for that.

    AVOID !!!!!!!! AVOID!!!!!!! AVOID!!!!!!
Please Please Please do NOT choose this appalling post office broadband if you value your sanity. I have NEVER in all my life been so stressed with broadband! I sometimes work from home and I left Talk Talk who I thought were shocking. If I could give you -0 stars I would. I have lost track of how many times I have called customer services as broadband is SO slow under 1mps and I have to keep reconnecting ever 2-3 mins and so far today 10 mins to open my emails! I’ve had new routers, engineers booked in and never had an appointment, I travel with work and cannot sit at home all day waiting for you to sort it out!! I cannot wait for this contract to end. Post Office you should be ashamed of yourselves. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!.

The service is borderline criminal, the internet stops every day with zero signal..this happened since day one. Im now a few months in and have got used to it..the signal stops for around 3 -8 minutes and then is very poor..usually under 1mps.for about 30 mins then back to normal. They state they can not gaurantee wifi but it still fails with laptop plugged in. Support is poor and used to be with sky without any issues ...i just decided to go a bit cheaper and paid hugely. I CANT EXPRESS HOW MUCH THIS IS FRUSTRATED ME and i may just pay to leave as i cant work from home any more.avoid this service at all cost.

I've had this broadband for a week now and so far very satisfied for the cost.

    £15.90 for 15mbps.

There was £60 upfront cost to connect the line. However, most providers charge for this service and believe that BT charge £130

No need for the Fibre option 15mbps is fast enough for everything.

    Good value broadband.

It does not even deserve 1 star, would give 0 if I could. Late on live date by a week which isn't much but they messed us about and lied to us saying that it would go live day after day.

Once it went live connection kept cutting off and it was still within 14 days cooling off period but apparently they have a small print that says as soon as it goes live you can not cancel.

Phoned to get it sorted but the guy said I need to leave it for 10 days to let itself sort out. I did and barely get 200kb much less compared to what was advertised. Can not even watch youtube on one device.

If you need something reliable go with Sky and if you have money with virgin. It has wasted so much amount of my time. The worst experience I have had with customer services and just the overall product.

I was supposed to have my internet up and running over a month ago. The post office have been absolutely useless and unable to get it working at all. They are sending a 4th yes 4th engeneer out to my flat to again try and get it working. They expect me to book yet another day off work so they can tell me the same thing that the other 3 told me. I am going to cancel as this is not on. They have also already billed be for set up and first months payment. Avoid using this broadband company!!

The worst 'broadband' I have ever had. Avoid at all costs. Don't be drawn in by the low price because you'll still be paying something for a terrible service.
So far since joining I had no broadband for 2 weeks in August, another 2 weeks in September and daily outages since then. Today it's gone down again. And no promised refund of my monthly fee ever came through.

Post Office BB in 2019 = Appalling line, drop-outs and router disconnecting all the time. Oh and speed typically 1 Mbps (yes one!) 8 weeks to get connected, 5 BT openreach engineer visits since to fix problems and service STILL NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. If you read about Post office being highly rated, its a claptrap award!!

This is the worst service for broadband. I totally regret getting trapped in this deal. Have had nothing but problems. They are slow to react and don't think it's an issue Internet dropping off a few times in an evening . They have a rubbish router you have to use. The customer service have a weird habit of phoning me in working hours to rather than emailing a reply to an email. Eg a password, by phone? The set up is complicated. I hate everything about post office broadband.

I have been a customer for 5 days.
I still have not been connected.
Been lied to on 3 separate occasions by customer services.
Tech support work 8am to 9pm.
If you have a problem do not expect it to be dealt with for at least 24 to 48 hours if you are lucky.
I asked to leave today at 4pm. Tech support asked me to contact them at 7pm for one final attempt to get services.
8.05pm tech support gave up and offered me a new router in 5 working days.
I declined and asked to be put through to cancellation department. They closed at 8pm.
Po broadband are cheap for a reason.
    Awful customer services department.
Tech support and website is second rate or worse.
I would give 0 stars out of 5 if I could.
Worst customer experience I have ever had.
Do not go near these cowboys.

Went online at work to talk online, got communication so i asked them to cancel my order as they had not connected me yet- they said please contact the call centre again. I laughed considering thats what id being trying to do. P.s. where do you think the extra call charges go to, oh yes thats why they are so cheap......AVOID AVOID AVOID

second bill £62, apparently mobile phone weren't included. Wasn't happy, its over £300 to get out of the contract or add as I was told on the phone while complaining £2/month additional to include mobiles.
So third bill £40. £19+2 does not equal £40.

    Time to complain again.

These please lie, I will be out of this contract asap and will never use them again.

I had always suffered slow broadband even though I have tried several providers. It was always just blamed on my distance from the exchange. Post Office immediately sent an engineer to investigate and found a fault in my main telephone socket and replaced it. Bingo, the best broadband speed I have ever had. Plus when you contact their service team you are connected to a UK based team who you have no problem at all in understanding, happy days.
