4 years and still wouldn't consider leaving Origin. We did buy a new router but my tech geek partner would probably do that with any company and this one is so cheap each month so it wasn't a problem. No one's house I visit has such a stable line as mine and no one has as much connected to their internet! |

I have never had any problems with Origin Broadband, customer service is Excellent and staff are always on hand to help out if needed, I have been with Origin Broadband for over a year now and no problems what so ever. Keep up the good work. Merry Christmas and a Happy new year to all. |

OK I've read all the negative reviews, but my real time experience is the absolute opposite, carry on reading if you have the energy.. I went with Origin because it was the cheapest provider; I'd read really bad customer service reviews, crossed my fingers and hoped all would be OK. I've been with them for over a year and everything has been fine. BUT HERE'S THE IMPORTANT BIT... Yesterday internet went down but phone line was still on. I rang them at 6:15 pm. pressed the options for 'tech service' and got ready for a long wait... Phone was answered on second ring, assistant was courteous, efficient, talked me through all the line checks and router checks, just in case it wasn't a line fault. Rang me back when I needed to sort something else out. Concluded it was a line fault, said they would get OpenReach to sort it AND would ring me at a time of my choice next day to check things. They did exactly that: Open Reach were with me at 09:30 am next day, fixed their fault, all sorted. Then Origin Phoned to confirm all OK. Perfect customer service when things went wrong. My last provider was Plusnet and a similar problem took over a week to sort, Plusnet didn't raise the issue with openreach and left me hanging around for days... Its why I moved. OK this is a 'one off' review but I have to rate as 5*. And it is cheapest for me.. |

Simple and easy to sign up, didnt need router, so comprehensive details were supplied for own router set up. On line consultation with operator, good and connected within 2 minutes. |

I went with this broadband company because the package on offer was very good. Not having heard of this company before, I was apprehensive. But I have been extremely impressed with them. Their service providers are friendly and helpful and the overall broadband connection and reliability service is great. Would have no hesitation in recommending Origin to friends and family. |

I switched to Origin in the last few weeks. The speed continued to be slow so I called customer service. They ran checks and arranged for an engineer to come out. With in two days my line was fixed and I’m now getting 75.57MBPS download speed and 9.95 MBPS. There was a long wait to get through but they sorted my problem very quickly. My experience is much better than other people’s reviews suggest theirs was. I’m very pleased so far :-) |

I have switched to Origin (never heard of them before) on the 7th of Nov from a well known provider. Great customer service, home broadband speed better than ever and better than the speed they guaranteed. Also a much better price. No interruptions at all either. So far I am very happy |

Cannot fault Origin for tech support and customer service ... been a customer for almost 2 years with only minor problems with connection, but all were sorted out quickly and without any fuss. Keeping my business local is also important to me. |

I've been with Origin since March 17 and took out their basic broadband package. The set up and transfer from Sky was easy and cheaper. I've never had an issue with the broadband and always had constant speeds thus opted to go on the Fibre package for 24.99. Yes I have read the reviews on here and did question upgrading but like I said I've had a good broadband supply since March. |

Origin have done exactly what they said they would do, exactly when they said they would do it. The customer services are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The broadband speed is better than we had with our previous provider (BT) and we have not experienced any breaks in service since we were switched over a month ago. Origin's part of the switching process was straightforward and seamless. So far, head and shoulders above BT for customer service, broadband service and value for money. |

Overall, great. Onshore help, speeds as offered, affordable prices. So much better than BT, Three and Talk Talk. It would be a full set of 5s if the tech crew cheered up a bit. |

Having experienced miserable service from other broadband providers, I am in a position to make a meaningful comparison of service providers and to provide informed comment on Origin Broadband. I have no hesitation and no reservation whatsoever in stating that I have found doing business with Origin's ultra-courteous and ultra-efficient employees an absolute delight and most refreshing. Origin's Broadband gives me not just a Very Strong strength signal but always an Excellent strength signal even though I am on WiFi. The only reason I have given Origin Broadband four stars for speed rather than the five stars that they probably merit is because I am spoilt, so to speak, by the fact that at my place of work we have superfast IT as befits a scientific establishment. I am more than happy to very highly recommend Origin Broadband to all and sundry. |

I decided to join Origin after suffering issues with Plusnet and a price hike of nearly £10 a month. My instal date went ahead as planned and I recieved a text and email confirmation to say that the service was up and running, however, it was not all ok and I was left with no phone or internet, I telephoned Origin to tell them of the issues and lo and behold BT turned up at the door 2 days later. |

Great company and customer service, i wish I had switched broadband & phone service before after many years of sticking with BT. The whole switch was very simple and good reliable broadband. The only reason i didn't give a 5 for overall satisfaction is because the router hadn't turned up the day before the switch & I had to call them to enquire but it did then arrive the day of the switch but I felt it would have been better to have received it a little earlier. Overall very happy though. |

Origin offer an excellent service. I have been with them for over 18 months. Never had any problems service wise and when something went wrong they were very efficient and kept me informed. Speed is only an issue I think due to issues outside their remit. |

I am generally shocked by all the negative comments as mine has been nearly faultless and defo no worse than any of the major provider's. I used have the full package inc multi room with Sky costing nearly £100 PCM, but after buying a firestick cancelled the lot and just needed broadband provider and Origin came up the cheapest £17.99 PCM for the basic speed. I have read people saying the first months payments was double but what these people forgot to mention you get the first 30 days to try it out then if you don't cancel you get billed double on your second month READ YOUR T&C's BEFORE SIGNING. I have a wife and a daughter and wife is always playing games on the tablet, daughter is on Youtube or her PS4 and I download a lot and its keeps up with everything fine. Customer service (once when I had to call them) got through within minutes not 20 min plus like Sky and the issue was resolved within 24 hrs. Really cant fault Origin and will stay with them for the foreseeable future. |
