Bad, incompetent customer service. Firstly didn't process the order, but didn't reach out to flag. Had to cancel this 'phantom order' (as they casually call it) and reorder. This delayed our setup another 2 weeks. Unfortunately in that time, Now increased the cost of their broadband service by 15%. This means we have to pay more overall due to Now's error. Customer service couldn't care less, were condescending, patronising and basically abysmally shocking. They were beyond useless at every turn. Pray that you have no setup issues, else you'll need to deal with this group of mouth breathers.

Switched from Talk Talk to Now TV in October 2019. The Now TV broadband reguarly matches the advertised speed so that's not a problem, but almost every day at different times there are moments when you open an app and it won't connect. You try to open a web site, and it won't connect - even though it says connected to the internet. This is across multiple devices, TV, IOS iPhone, Android tablet. Looking on line others say it's the Now TV router that's the problem. I think they're right as my previous Talk Talk account's speed was half the advertised rate of Now TV's, yet I never had any problems connecting to or with anything. It's specifically bad with apps/sites that use heavy data such as YouTube, Plane Finder, Google Earth, Netflix, and sometimes even a simple site like Ebay! About 50% of the time with those apps/sites you just sit watching them trying to load - it's so frustrating. Been to Now TV web site to troubleshoot - also frustrating. It recommends all the obvious stuff that I've already done, (thanks)! So I try to contact them and there doesn't seem to be a way that works. There's a Chat Live button, but it doesn't work. As soon as my contract runs out (only 8 months to go) I'll be off to another provider. Not impressed.

Outrageous customer service. They missed multiple appointments and lied about us not being at home while we waited all day at home not being able to go to work serveral times over the course of one month. When you called their customer service, no one knew what was going on and the only suggestion was that we keep waiting.

Turned out they have pushed back the go live date by one month and offered £40 compensation when we should have received more than £100 by the calculation on their website. While we made a complaint, they said 'there is nothing more we can do' and offered us £0 evntually.

6 months have passed and we did not receive any compensation. Big outrageous liars.

I have NOW TV wifi installed. Which necessitates a landline. They said they would send an engineer, but hey never did and when I called, I was told they had already hooked it up. Not! They then sent out a BT engineer a week later and got it working.

I got my statement and there were about 30 calls made to Angola. The date of the calls happened between the time of the first installation date (when the line wasn't working) and the second installation date (when the line was sorted correctly).

We obviously wanted the call charges taken off and NOW TV escalated to their manager and came back w an offer to take £10 off the bill! Why in the world should I pay for calls that were made by someone else when the line was not functioning.

All of this took literally hours of calling NOW TV, waiting for one person after another and that's their resolution?

DO NOT USE FOR BROADBAND. Cut me off one month early. Took no real responsibility. Left it for me to sort out their mess. Only response was a patronising and unhelpful email.

I am due to move house in 1 month. I called them a few weeks ago to schedule this and even had email confirmations to say that the broadband will be switched on the correct date. They shut off my broadband a month early and couldn't get it back. They then said it would take up to 2 weeks to get back, until someone else took the last spot in the green box outside. Now I am without broadband for a month until I move. Thanks NOW TV!

I've been with NowB for a few years now. Back in Aug 23, I received an email saying I have two options and one of them was to keep what I had for which it said: "Do nothing and continue with your existing membership for £30.49 a month". Overall this was a better option and I "did nothing" to remain on that package. However I noted they started charging me £48 rather than 30 (do nothing option). I called today to seek refund, they say you never called back to confirm your new package and that's why you're on the standard rate.
    I called this daylight rubbery!

How petty can you get I've decided to go to a new provider leaving on the 19th of this month cancelled my contract last month by phone to give them enough notice no problem booted game console up yesterday the 2nd March to install a new game, the download speed was low went on to pc to check the speed should be 63mbps through wifi which I have been getting as my router is downstairs it is now 22mbps so just because I was leaving at the end of my contract they have been so petty to drop my speed down. Read the comments on this site and now agree with them if you are leaving NOW Broadband at the end of your contract give them the minimum notice you can because they will drop your speed down so it's virtually unusable will NEVER use this organisation again for broadband or any of their services including their TV services which I have also cancelled.

I'm coming to the end of 18 month contract and can't wait to leave. My main gripe is the pathetic wifi signal and lack of ports with the router. Also fed up with Internet dropping out. I don't bother calling about it because customer service leave a lot to be desired and it eventually comes back. I could live with that but not the rubbish router. Bradband speed OK most of the time.

I had a contract for phone and broadband that was billed at £23.50 per month.
I received an email reminder on the 2nd February 2024 that my contract was about to end saying it will continue at 23.50 per month if i do nothing:
"Do nothing and continue with your existing membership for £23.50 a month".

Further down the email it says:
    Keep what you have:
    From 03/03/2024 you will pay:
    £23.50 a month
(No contract, keeps rolling unless cancelled, cancel anytime)
    Super Fibre
63 Mbps Average Speed, Unlimited Downloads, includes Line Rental
    Anytime calls
To choose this option you don't have to do a thing.

However my bill for March was £46.50, an extra £23!
I have called Now and was told that I should have scrolled to the end of the email for further details.. I was also told that the offer was no longer available and the new contract would be £33 per month.
    Misleading and deceitful communication. AVOID!

Broadband speeds seem ok but the router they give you is pile of poo, worse Wi-Fi range I’ve ever had and only 2 Ethernet ports, cheap and not cheerful, been with them for 3 months and they put the prices up, can’t wait to leave to be honest, was with post office broadband before, excellent router and great customer service , opposite end of the scale to these people.

Was looking for a flexible option for to my situation. Did not want to commit to 12/18/24 month contract. This provider seemed to be the solution. FabFibre £20 a month broadband only. Cash up front for installation and first month. Installer could not put router into living room. He had to install into a bedroom. Showed me good service at 36 Mbps. But... When you moved away from router the service dropped off to less than 12 Mbps sometimes as low as 5 Mbps. Customer service say promise delivered but as it was unusable we'll give you a tenner for your troubles. Didn't accept was going to cancel but with 1 week before Christmas was not ideal. Took the increased offer of £15 and bought a mesh booster system at £118. Beware promises delivered but not usable. Unless you can sit in your bedroom kitchen or wherever they deign to install.

0840 on a Sunday morning and trying to talk to someone at Now. Taken through various menus which you have to listen to in full before you are allowed to select an option. Then advised the department is closed. Opening hours are 0830 to 2000 7 days a week. Standard fare from another parasite company that exists to provide minimal service while trying to bleed as much money as possible from their customer base.

I've been told by two ppl at now tv that the routers they provide are old and unable to maintain the speed they promise but when trying to raise with someone to get a better router the managers insists that the information is not correct.

    1. Download speed fluctuates a lot.
    2. Mostly reliable through 2023.
    3. Price rose from £22 -> £25.50 and now £38.50 with 12m contract (automatic).
    4. Customer service is mostly through a forum where you can read FAQs or ask other users questions. Most customer service links are circular and go nowhere. There is a number to cancel the subscription, where wait time is ~5mins.

Their broadband is the worst on the market. It is even worse than TalkTalk and that is really saying something. Even loading a webpage takes forever, and forget about streaming Netflix or Prime. It is pot luck as to whether you can even log into them. Never ever again will I use this company, so unbelievably disappointing. They do not have enough channels to run their broadband through so you sometimes get on sometimes not, and their routers are weak and wet, so the signal is ridiculous even in a small house its a weak signal.

Customer service is enough to avoid using NOWTV. Wanted to move the broadband to my new home, which we move on the 14th. The closest date they could give me to switch was the 25th and I would lose broadband from the 24th in my current place. They gave the incorrect details to BT meaning they rejected the appointment on the 25th, 6 days before we move. We had to cancel with NOWTV and go with Virgin as they don’t use BT broadband lines. Now we don’t have wifi in my home until we move - nobody seemed to know/care what to do

Failed to transfer broadband across on switch day and offered no alternative in the interim. How do these companies get away with behaving in this way? Broadband is an essential utility.

Now let themselves down with the old routers the provide. Had issues since day 1 (multiple connection drops) which were never related to the broadband supply coming in, but devices connecting to their hub/router (basically if more than 4 things are connected at once you risk issues). I’ve had replacement hubs, long phone calls to tinker with settings, openreach visits to relay cable…you name it, but still the cutouts remain. Considering we work from our home this is a big problem! After 6 months we finally decided to switch elsewhere!

If you’re a casual user, you might get by without issues - otherwise if you do you’ll need a better router, and Now won’t tell you which other router models work with their setup.

Absolutely dreadful customer service. No internet 8th December 2022, called Now and was told we needed a new router, don’t know why other than it was clearly kaput. It’s 22nd January 2023 and there’s still no sign of the router. Thankfully the internet spontaneously began to work again some days later or I wouldn’t have been able to work from home. Had the connection suddenly not rectified itself I’d be nearly 2 months down the line with no internet. Tried contacting Now who honestly and frankly don’t give a monkey’s [even I you are recently bereaved] and the biggest insult when you DO get to speak to someone is that your complaint won’t be picked up until the new router is in situ because “you might want to claim more” - claim more what? I want a refund for the period I was without a viable internet service and I want a provider that can be relied on and who actually cares about their customers. DO NOT GO THERE, there’s a reason Now is so cheap and that’s because they are, cheap and downright nasty.

Router is seemingly useless outside any room it’s in. Speed is as advertised so can’t really complain there. Customer service is ridiculously bad. I submitted a complaints form two days after installation (bearing in mind I had a 2 week period available to cancel with no charge or repercussions) and they contacted me after 18 days!

Hilariously bad. If I weren’t moving again soon I would’ve cancelled after day one due to bad router.

I watch TV shows on my phone, us using data because this cannot handle the basics.

So far I'm very disappointed with capabilities of Now broadband service.
I already had a "Nowtv" box and thought it would work really well with Now broadband, it does not. The box performance is very slow compared to previous broadband supplier which surprised me.
I'm having trouble even getting in touch with Now broadband, beginning to wish I'd never changed

This provider gives decent broadband. HOWEVER. There is absolutely no app available that lets you control who uses the broadband in the house, device management, diagnostics, remote management. Nothing. It is something that they really need to address as it is lacking severely on its competitors. Is will be looking at alternatives when my 12 month contract is up.

I was offered one price, then left without broadband for almost 2 weeks, then told my offer had expired and I would have to pay a different price (10% more). I asked for the the automatic offcom compensation for the delay (as it sais on their website) and they knew nothing about it. They automatically forwarded me to "the relevant custom service department", which turned out to be at SKY, so they obviously couldn't help me because it's not even the right company. How can they be so useless?!
