Provision over the past year has been very good, with 14mBs download and 1mBs upload on average. Renegotiation of the deal was required as renewal cost was a steep rise. A pity they did not offer their best price in the first place! Your offer was not as good as I negotiated with NOW Broadband. Why is that? Pricing seems a bit of a mystery and your service is not necessarily the best/cheapest.

Transferred from Talk Talk everything ok speed 37 instead of 1.5 so good but when I looked at phone they had given me a new number?I ticked on online form that I wanted to keep my number that I have had for 35 years as at the moment my disabled in-laws have social care and if there is a problem we are first call so I will have to try and inform everybody my new number!!!! Now say I ticked box to say I did not want my number? Does anybody know how to get my number back as it is causing a lot of stress.

It's Sky Broadband with a no frills option. Support varies wildly from useless to good, depends on who you get and how helpful they are feeling.

If you don't get anywhere call back the next day and you will probably get someone who will help. Generally service is pretty reliable and speeds are ok.

No hassles with contracts, moving home or cancelling is ok no hassle, unlike Virgin where it can take weeks or months.

Basically you get what you pay for, service is pretty much identical to Sky Broadband which is ok for VDSL.

I marked the reliability down because I did have ongoing problems for a few months but this was mainly my fault. I changed from Sky to Now TV about 18 months ago, as expected, the Now TV internet worked without any need to change the old connections or Sky Q hub. When I started to experience problems, I suspected it was probably down to the router, however, I delayed connecting the Now TV hub due to my own laziness and not wanting to reconnect the many devices to the new hub. Last night I gave in as the speeds had become unusable, since then, everything has worked just fine and we don't even need the wifi booster that had been necessary to get wifi upstairs without the Sky Q multiroom box.

In response to the reviews claiming terrible customer service, I've found them very good when I have bothered to contact them. When moving house, the change was quick and seamless (much better than past experience with Sky and BT), even extending the special offer I got when I signed up without extending my contract, giving me the reduced fee long after I was free to leave.

All in all, I think for the price, they offer a good service. You get what you pay for and if you want better speed and reliability, it's going to cost more.

Speed and reliability OK, but within a week of starting with NowTV I've been receiving a constant stream of scam calls from "Sky Broadband" (multiple landline numbers but obviously from overseas judging by the accents) claiming that my internet speed is slow and they have to update my router by getting me to download some dodgy software onto my 'phone or PC. Never had the problem with my previous provider - which leads me to question why it started so quickly after the switch? Will persevere but if it doesn't get better soon I'll switch providers.

Found them a mixed bag. The actual broadband has been pretty good (good speeds and wasn't too bad for dropping out). The online account system is pretty minimal though and does not confirm what your contract end date would be (you have to work this out from your timeline and original email stating contract length). They also do not inform you when you are nearing the end of the contract, they just up your DD without notice. I contacted them regarding this saying it's ridiculous that they make it so difficult to find your contract end and that they should be at the very least emailing you as a courtesy to say your bill is changing. I did get a fairly quick response but it basically said your end date will have been in your joining instructions...

Ok so no, it's not the best broadband I've ever had but it gets the job done. I live in a small flat and there are still issues with coverage. What I must say though us their customer service has been excellent. They answer straight away, give clear and helpful advice and are just open and honest, I called around 4 to 5 times in total with several different queries and every person was excellent. Very good price, shame they don't supply my new address! No hassle to cancel at all 10/10 service - thank you! Keep doing what you're doing

When I started there were no problems, but my contract was coming to an end I foolishly gave them the opportunity to retain my custom. Speaking to the advisor they agreed to match the new customer offer.
Unfortunately they want to charge me more, I have written and spoken to them to get it resolved they are not interested.

I have tried to leave and retain my number but its company policy to refuse to port a number, so when you leave you loose the number.

They do not want to give a recordable means to communicate so they can claim nothing was agreed, then again you submit via their web form and nothing happens either.

This would probably be ok if you live in a small flat, but the router is so weak it won't penetrate around a bigger property and will drop out frequently. My complaints were listened to, and I was allowed to transfer without penalty.

I had a no contract service with NOW for 3 years. They advised me that the price was increasing slightly. However they increased my bill by a mystery £15.

Apparently they roll in a free calls package (even tough i don't have a landline phone) and then jack up the price. However this still didn't account for the increase.

Call handlers were hard to get hold of, off-hand and unable to explain my bills. They also wouldn't refund over charged payments or rectify the issue without forcing me into a 12 month contract. They also continued to charge a call package after termination of my account and switching to another provider taking 3 months to refund this.

    Just appalling

I was quite happy with Now Broadband until I tried to cancel. I had to tell them to cancel my membership three separate times (so far) to make them stop charging me. "oh we charged you by mistake" "oh we had system issues the last time you cancelled" unacceptable to try to make money from people who don't pay attention. V disappointed.

I give Now a zero rating for customer service and satisfaction, I have requested a "shift and lift" on the line into a property ( in other words to move where the line comes in) Now firstly couldn't understand what was required and sent a fault engineer and now deny they can order this from Openreach, who tell me only the phone supplier can order a line shift. Absolutely hopeless don't go to Now.

Going from Virgin was a risk but it am on brilliant broadband after a few teething problems caused by old line connections getting great typical speed and streaming now tv , can use I pad for movies etc good home reception and saving money . I have wasted a lot of cash on fast fibre I didn’t need. So goodbye Virgin. I highly recommend now broadband I guess others have been unlucky . Don’t hesitate to join or switch .

Useless. Had ordered Now Broadband package, BT Openreach engineer never turned up. I was at home all day and they couldn't be bothered to just knock on the door. Hiding behind the excuse of a missed phone call. Usually you're told to make sure someone's home on installation day. Now Broadband have been absolutely useless. For weeks I've had to chase them up for another engineer appointment. They said they would resolve the issue. A couple of times I was told a new installation date had been booked - lies. Apparently they were waiting for further advices and no appointment had been booked. When I confronted them about being lied to, the worker claimed there had been errors in the system for booking the appointment. Nearly a month later, they drop a casual email stating that my order has been cancelled. Hiding behind a vague email, not bothering to phone me to address what the underlying issues for cancellation were. I have stressed repeatedly to them that I have a lot of back log and I need the broadband installed ASAP. Too much miscommunication within their own organisation and staff are giving out mixed messages. Keep having to wait for 72 hour updates and in the end you feel that you are constantly chasing them up and they barely have the time to ring you. Really disappointed.

Seeing all the negative reviews almost put me off getting Now Broadband but my experience has been more positive. My circumstances meant that I was only interested in a non-contract agreement, i.e. leave whenever I wanted without exit fees. "Now" were one of the very few providers in my area that offered broadband without tying you down to 12/24 months so this was a great plus for me. The speed is not the best but I knew that before I signed up as they provide accurate estimated speeds, however the speed is fine for my uses.

The price is reasonable too for £18 I get broadband, line rental and unlimited local and mobile calls AND can cancel whenever I want with no costs being incurred.
Now also arranged for BT to connect my line to the phone network which was done quickly and the engineer came exactly when expected, so the setup was trouble-free. Getting the modem-router setup was simple too.

The biggest complaint I have is customer service since it's so difficult to connect to an advisor. On 3 or 4 occasions when I called, the call just disconnected. On the single occasion I did manage to get through, the advisor was helpful and was able to setup my account promptly.

I'm sure everyone that has complained about Now have legitimate qualms, but my experience has been mostly good and I have got everything I needed from them for a good price - something no other provider was able to offer.

I'm getting good speeds when it works but it keeps dropping around 7 - 8 times a day. Engineers have been out at least 6 times and I've phoned at least 20 but everything is a temporary fix. Sky use the same router and people have the same problems. I know it's the router but they don't want to accept it not to mention the signal only reaches one room. Definitely avoid now broadband, get BT who can offer the same speed but they have the best routers, that's who I'll go with once my contract is up

They decided that my “offer” was over and took an additional £50 out of my account.
    How is this even legal?
I had straightforward broadband, there was no offer.
Please do not use this company, I am struggling to get anywhere to recover my money, I will be reporting them to consumer ombudsman.

Very disappointed, as I was shopping around for ages to find an affordable to fast broadband and found NOW. However, it took them nearly 3 weeks to get the 12 month contract started which resulted in lot of extra mobile internet expense and couple days after starting thew contract they don't me they will be raising their prices next month. Had I known that they aren't any cheaper than their competitors but are much slower, I would have never signed up.

I was a returning customer to Now Broadband having previously not had an issue with them, however if you're a returning customer they cannot link your email address to your account as your email address will be linked to the original no longer active account. I have never experienced this problem at any other company.

I pointed out that it is illegal to take payment from anyone without first providing an invoice, but this doesn't seem to bother them in the slightest and their only solution is for me to create a new email address just for them. I don't see why I should inconvenience myself to help them not to break the law. They just shouldn't break the law.

Anyway, whilst that argument has been ongoing for 10 months, last week my Internet became intermittent over a 2 day period... 2 green lights, middle light flashing orange. Advice online suggests this is a fault with the line, but when I rang I spoke with the most unpleasant customer service agent whom suggested the plan I had was only strong enough to connect one mobile phone and wasn't enough to stream TV on. I had used the Internet for just that for over 2 years without incident so I a) don't see why it would suddenly cause a fault and b) cannot believe any Internet provider has a plan only strong enough for a single mobile phone and nothing else.

The customer service agent was so horrifically rude to me that I actually believe Now Broadband cut me off to get rid of me.

I now understand why they are in no hurry to solve the email linkage issue - its because returning customers is a myth for this company. Nobody goes back. Definitely nobody should.

Having a nightmare with this company over something which seems simple. I cannot access some websites I need to as they are blocked by NOW. I cannot update my preferences as my account does not appear to be linked to my broadband they tell me. Using the link they provided tried to link this but, although I am entering the correct information, it says I am not and can get no further with it. Have phoned their customer service who had no clue. Someone did phone me back and went through the same steps of trying via the same link with no success. She then told me someone from their IT would be in touch - three weeks ago and heard nothing. On their community forum it appears this problem has been ongoing for the past 3 and a half years. Now any emails or complaints forms I fill in are being ignored. That's their customer service for you - abysmal. I am out of contract in November, sent them an email to say as they cannot solve my problem I would like confirmation that if I move to another provider I will not have to pay any charges for early cancellation. Ignored.

The service provided was generally very good until the contract came to an end...then the problems began. We moved to a new provider who were faster and cheaper but discovered Now Broadband were still charging us despite us emailing them to cancel the standing order. It's almost impossible to speak to a human and their chat bot is designed to drive you insane. Finally we spoke to a very rude customer service guy who said it's their policy to not read emails and they will only take cancelations of contracts on the phone (which they don't answer). Although we had cancelled our standing order they still managed to take money from us and now we are having to make a small claims court application to get our £100+ back. Do not use this company!

payment system nightmare as not accept direct debits and card payments have failed on many occasions down to their system error despite putting in new card their system fails to still take payments, so i get late payment emails, since day one . This is the only company which charges a £1 fee to change card as far as i know and takes forever to return it. If ever. Everything automated or online which is not good if problems. When signed up took 2 months to sort connection problems. when contract comes up for renewal, moving on never to return

Like many others i wish we had read the reviews. speed improved since we have been with them (as ours was dismal with talk talk) but why oh why does the internet go off when our land line rings? wonder if these company's want us to get rid of landlines and only use mobiles!!

The service was fine, the router they provide is absolutely shocking.
Terrible Wifi and would constantly need to restart the router.
    BT/EE router is considerably better.

Advertised at 63mbps, only guaranteed at 33-25mbp!! And, guess what, that's what you get.
The router is so weak the wifi signal cannot even get 6 feet outside of the room where it is without dropping to 6mbps.
Drops signal all the time at peak times, customer service do the usual round of, it's not us it's the line, engineer appointment, new router, boosters, separate router, TP links, tried them all.
Only thing that is worth congratulating them on is being better than Talk Talk!

Left sky to join Now broadband and transferred my landline number with no problem. I now want to return to sky but now broadband will not release my number, absolute disgraceful company. Don`t touch Now broadband with a barge pole.

Like others received an email to say am now out of contract and have choices.
One is to continue at current price plus other options that all were dearer.
To stay as is you need to do NOTHING.
Now find this is untrue as you have to call them.
    Totally misleading email beware.
Customer service is offshore and poor English speaking.
Will be leaving after this year but will involve lots of work transferring everything over.
Have to say have not had problems with the broadband service reliability
    Just the totally misleading email
