Very bad connection. We were frequently unable to complete simple search engine tasks when this is was the only device connecting in the household (obviously steaming on those days was out of the question). Customer service gave us a complicated billion point troubleshooting plans for us to follow, which we completed to a T, twice, to no avail. After what must have been days if not weeks of hours of time given over by ourselves to resolve our terrible connection we are thankfully now at the end of our contract and will happily never return to this terrible broadband supplier

Stay clear of now broadband. They take money you shouldnt be paying. They wont help over the phone. They pass you from pillar to post. Your activation date says a specific date but it can be two weeks after that date before it becomes active.

Absolutely the worst broadband we have ever had. Keeps disconnecting for no reason and loading takes forever. Customer service is absolutely useless, cant even solve the problem. Had a new router sent to twice now and the problem still occurs every day. Avoid at all costs.

AWFUL. WHY is the internet broadband industry set up at the mercy of Openreach engineers. Internet should be like electricity - when you move house you should be able to plug in router and it works. NOT wait 10 working days for an engineer to flick a switch in a local box. NOW and other providers need to campaign for openreach to supply shorter work times.

If you are interested to order Now broadband I wanted you 4ead this feedback please first before further action.
One star is too much for them. 5he worst and awful customer service ever. We didn't receive our hob we should contact them 6 times they didn't even contact us to say our engineer appointment was cancelled. After about a month now that we are calling them I spoke to their manager (if you can call it manager because I doubt if that is a company) she said we can't update you and you should wait for another company to update us then we will update you.

I can't believe what I heard after a month and me and my husband both working from home and she said your company that you are working for should support you and give you the tools that you need it is not our problem. I will definitely cancel my order but please don't go through whole this situation that we went.

Appalling, rip off, agree to a plan and they then charge you more stating you have not got included calls when that was what you bought. Luckily I did keep proof through topcashback, where I am taking it to CISAS complaint handling as NOW Broadband have not bothered to answer 8 emails of complaint. Terrible customer service, wish I had looked into the terrible service first. A con firm that needs shutting down. Broadband also poor intermittent. Stay away and if too late take it to CISAS and get them fined.

Taking them to cisias complaints ombudsman. Poor service that keeps logging out, missing speech on tv, bought through topcashback with anytime calls and now broadband are trying to charge me for extortionate calls saying I need to provide proof it was anytme calls when I bough it. 8 emaisl ignored so had enough of poor customer services and taking it further whilst changing providers. Thsi company needs shutting down please report them.

Very unhappy with broadband. Cancelled my service well in advance and they have still taken the money out of my account. Then said that I will have to wait a month for a refund and I will have to contact them again to get this. Absolutely shocking. We have changed provider as the service was rubbish, very slow and always dropping out, in the first place and them doubling the price. Would definitely not recommend

Worst decision Ive made for broadband. If you're thinking about it,... Run away...run away fast.
Intermittent connectivity. No customer support to resolve it.
BT and Talktalk must be rubbing thier hands when customers go flooding back to them.

    1. Download speed fluctuates a lot.
    2. Mostly reliable through 2023.
    3. Price rose from £22 -> £25.50 and now £38.50 with 12m contract (automatic).
    4. Customer service is mostly through a forum where you can read FAQs or ask other users questions. Most customer service links are circular and go nowhere. There is a number to cancel the subscription, where wait time is ~5mins.

I originally signed up with NOW Broadband as they offered the best value deals, but as I've discovered that comes at a cost. I have no issue with the broadband speeds, but I've had several issues with service drop outs. After line tests they have insisted on having an Engineer access my property at great inconvenience even though the faults have all been at the exchange.
A few weeks ago I received an email telling me another supplier had requested to take over my line. I immediately phoned them and told them this was a mistake and not the case. I was advised they would put a stop on the line transfer and I'd receive an email confirming when this had been done. No email was received, so I called them back again. I was given no explanation as to why the stop hadn't been actioned, but they would deal with it straight away and I was assured my phone line would not be cut off. On Friday my phone line and Broadband were cut off! After numerous phone calls (you have to go through the same set of security questions twice every time and they have a habit of cutting you off when they try and transfer you) I've been told my only option is to sign up as a new customer again - which will take 14 days. Also, my phone number of 26 years has been deleted and I can't have it back! They have accepted they should have actioned the 'stop' on the line transfer but just didn't bother, so tough luck it's too late now!!!!!
I now have no phone and Broadband for at least 2 weeks during our 2nd lockdown in Aberdeen.
Don't be tempted by the cheap deals, they're hopeless!

    AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID
This really is a truly awful Internet service provider. When I contacted Customer Services I was put to 3 different advisers and had to explain 3 different times the same issue. They deny all responsibility and do everything they can to avoid a resolve. I have never ever came across such poor customer services, they try and pass the burden of blame elsewhere. One of the best excuses I had when trying to resolve the issue was that I am using the wrong web browser (even though I had tried Microsoft edge, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer & Safari) so I was told to download Firefox and this what definitely, without a shadow of a doubt resolve the problem. Guess what, even after following their advice to the letter it still did not resolve the issue.
I cancelled account and am now out of pocket.
This really is the worst provider I have unluckily had the misfortune to subscribe too. Do not be drawn if by any special offers you see on any comparison website, spend a fraction more on another provider if you have to as it will be worth it and you will save money in long run. If I could've gave it negative stars I would've.

I have been with Now Broadband for several months now. Having moved my service from Vodafone. What caught my eye was the price, plus I already had Now TV and had no issues at all.

Sign up and install was easy. The transfer of service was quick and smooth. However having said that, there was a broadband fault the day that I was due to transfer service. Luckily I had topped up my data sim to unlimited and was still able to use the net via Wifi Hot Spot.

Since then I have had no problems with the company themselves. But since changing from Vodafone to Now Broadband I have been receiving countless "cold calls" I have no idea how this has happened? As my number is ex - directory.

But recently I have noticed that things are stuttering such as YouTube, Facebook and Google Search. The connection drops out all the time for seconds at a time but it's continuously doing it. I have checked the speeds and I'm getting 18.2mg to 1.5mg so there shouldn't be any issues but there are.

On the whole, I am happy with the service just not with the dropouts. I've only contacted Customer Service twice. And they were helpful and friendly, the wait time was I think about 10 to 15 mins.

Ive just experienced exact same problem as previous post from Kai. Email received in December from NOW as my contract was ending, with choices which included do nothing and pay the same, This was confirmed further on in the email to keep same deal for same price. Only realised today have been charged additional £15.00 for last two months. Phoned twice to complain and ask for refund. Cut off both times when I asked to escalate my complaint. Their email is not only misleading, but also fraudulent. I think that the intention of their email is to knowingly deceive their customers. Im currently in process of looking for a new broadband provider. Absolute shocking customer services.

Was looking for a flexible option for to my situation. Did not want to commit to 12/18/24 month contract. This provider seemed to be the solution. FabFibre £20 a month broadband only. Cash up front for installation and first month. Installer could not put router into living room. He had to install into a bedroom. Showed me good service at 36 Mbps. But... When you moved away from router the service dropped off to less than 12 Mbps sometimes as low as 5 Mbps. Customer service say promise delivered but as it was unusable we'll give you a tenner for your troubles. Didn't accept was going to cancel but with 1 week before Christmas was not ideal. Took the increased offer of £15 and bought a mesh booster system at £118. Beware promises delivered but not usable. Unless you can sit in your bedroom kitchen or wherever they deign to install.

Very quick to take a payment but when it comes to actually getting it activated I am left waiting. No feedback, just told to wait another 24 to 48 hours after the due date.

Working form home without broadband is causing endless hassles. Should have gone elsewhere.

Just joined them this week. Setup was on time. But quickly found the router would not cover our terraced house. Then the line keeps dropping every hour or so.
Customer service tells me the signal will get better over time... er how? So they have lost any trust.
Am now extremely unpopular with kids.DO NOT COME TO NOWTV land. It is as bad as it sounds.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
I signed up to Now Broadband after seeing them on a comparison site. I wish I hadn't.
I waited weeks for the broadband to be set up, and was then told an engineer needed to come out. First, the engineer turned up unannounced and didn't have the right ladder to set us up. The day after, another four engineers arrived and got us sorted.
The internet was good for four days, until it was cut off. When I rang them, it turned out our order hadn't been placed properly, and I was told it would be sorted within 24 hours.
I rang back a day later, and was told actually the whole order needed to be re placed, which would take a week (even though it worked fine one day before).
This was supposed to happen on 27th July. When I phoned to confirm it today (26th), it turns out I'm now booked in for early August.
So we're out of pocket, I'm spending half my life waiting for engineers or speaking with call centres, and still have no broadband to allow us to work from home.

Shocking service, useless company, do not use.

dreadful company, and service. 8 engineers were sent to look for the fault, all 8 said that it was a problem with the Now tv/Sky equipment.
Now tv offered to let me out of my contract early with no early leaving fee, so I switch providers and then sky informed me they would fix their equipment if a cancelled my leaving them.
They then had the cheek to charge me for 9 days of faulty broadband.

Found them a mixed bag. The actual broadband has been pretty good (good speeds and wasn't too bad for dropping out). The online account system is pretty minimal though and does not confirm what your contract end date would be (you have to work this out from your timeline and original email stating contract length). They also do not inform you when you are nearing the end of the contract, they just up your DD without notice. I contacted them regarding this saying it's ridiculous that they make it so difficult to find your contract end and that they should be at the very least emailing you as a courtesy to say your bill is changing. I did get a fairly quick response but it basically said your end date will have been in your joining instructions...

I was with these for 2 years, for the last 2 months I noticed my speeds were around 20mbps when I should have had 54mbps guaranteed.

They then said I would need to pay £40 for a new router to fix this. I mean really?? I have to pay to fix there faulty equipment?!

Needless to say I have switched to another provider.

Just be carefull as the customer service is totally crap

Switched from Talk Talk to Now TV in October 2019. The Now TV broadband reguarly matches the advertised speed so that's not a problem, but almost every day at different times there are moments when you open an app and it won't connect. You try to open a web site, and it won't connect - even though it says connected to the internet. This is across multiple devices, TV, IOS iPhone, Android tablet. Looking on line others say it's the Now TV router that's the problem. I think they're right as my previous Talk Talk account's speed was half the advertised rate of Now TV's, yet I never had any problems connecting to or with anything. It's specifically bad with apps/sites that use heavy data such as YouTube, Plane Finder, Google Earth, Netflix, and sometimes even a simple site like Ebay! About 50% of the time with those apps/sites you just sit watching them trying to load - it's so frustrating. Been to Now TV web site to troubleshoot - also frustrating. It recommends all the obvious stuff that I've already done, (thanks)! So I try to contact them and there doesn't seem to be a way that works. There's a Chat Live button, but it doesn't work. As soon as my contract runs out (only 8 months to go) I'll be off to another provider. Not impressed.

Absolutely awful, their “customer service” is shocking, I wish I had never joined and will NOT be renewing with these clowns. Avoid at all costs!!!

I changed provider because of the terrible customer service from my previous provider. NOW broadband are definitely better customer service wise but when streaming TV or music the broadband constantly drops out for seconds only but causes buffering, which was not a problem with previous supplier

Total shambles, no reach to all rooms, even though I am living in one level flat of less then 80sqm , pure sluggish internet, even my Mac is sick and tired of the none moving blue line ( reminded me of old good times when you were getting old by looking at the blue line going of the speed of slug) .... after god knows how many phone conversations regarding the issues I was suggested to elevate the HUB above 1m ???? Avoid ... and better pay more and have a good reliable service. According to NOW, and their small print they do not guarantee the wifi service within your home ?????????

I am due to move house in 1 month. I called them a few weeks ago to schedule this and even had email confirmations to say that the broadband will be switched on the correct date. They shut off my broadband a month early and couldn't get it back. They then said it would take up to 2 weeks to get back, until someone else took the last spot in the green box outside. Now I am without broadband for a month until I move. Thanks NOW TV!
