Ridiculously low broadband speed and although told when I committed to the contract it was the best I could get because no fibre in the area I have found Virgin can provide much better service with cable. |

The speed of the fire is terrible, I dread to think what normal broadband is like, constantly cuts out for no reason, I have been with sky, talk talk, virgin and EE are by far the worst provider I have ever been with. Id rather go back to dial up, stay away, if your looking for cheap broadband go with talk talk or plus net. Just awful connection and speed. |

Am with ee for both broadband and mobile, no issues with either. Good mobile coverage - internet too new to comment on speed/ reliability but so far so good. Moved from Vodafone recently. EE Probably the best customer service I've ever had- in stark contrast with Vodafone who I hated having to deal with. You get to speak to someone within minutes and they are helpful and communicative and happy to put things right. Would confidently recommend ee to friends and family. P. S. I'm not being paid to write this |

Up to six weeks ago I would have rated EE broadband (Up to 38mbs) as 5 star, always reliable and good customer service such that I have renewed contracts several times. In the last six weeks my speed dropped 1Mps per week from 26Mbs to 15Mbs where its now bottomed out out. After checks, tests etc it turns out that EE have altered the line IP profile to just above 15Mbs so in layman's terms this is capping the line and means that I can no longer achieve a speed within the sold range of 16.5Mbs to 42.5 Mbs, ok now this is where customers need to be careful, EE detailed in the small print that at busy times etc the speed may drop and detailed a minimum contracted speed on 11 Mbs, therefore their stance is its within contract. I find it amazing that a company is allowed to cap the speed below that of the range it specified when its nothing to do with a line busy, just an organisation treating customers unfairly. I'd advise anyone to check the minimum guaranteed line speed or you may end up paying for fibre and receiving a speed of normal broad band. |

Spent £400 on a games console, however can't play online... speed is bad and inconsistent drop under 1mb/s download Speed all the time. When I get 3 mb/s it's around 3am but apart from that always bad. I switched from post office to ee. Would rather chop off my toes than stay with EE |

This is the worst broadband I have used or in the UK. The speed is so slow and most times no connection. Customer service cannot do anything to help all they do is to keep on the phone for very long time and be transferring you from one department to another. I have used sky in the past before switching to ee. It was a mistake I've been regretting since I joined ee. I can't wait to finish this rubbish contract and run back to sky. |

as of now I have had 5 ee routers all keep going faulty, We have just found out the problem!!, I am a ham radio and have got a hf antenna on my roof and according to bt it is my radio that is blowing the routers with rf affecting the routers, because ee only supply cheap routers they are no good for me, ee want me to buy a 3rd party router and they will pay upto £50, but as I have told them if that router goes faulty in 12mth time will you buy another one NO they say ??, I am on a 18mth contract and they will not let me go with out paying them £105 "half of what I owe", it is not my fault if the routers are not up to the job. |

Switched to EE from BT. Although I was happy with BT, it is very expensive. What a mistake! from literally the very moment we switched it all started to go pear shaped. I like to stream films but had to cancel now tv and net flix as it never worked so wasn't worth paying for. Every time I phoned nothing was done. I'd say it was usable 20% of the time. The only thing that was different from bt was the hub of which we had 3 from EE. For the las 3 months of my plan I didn't have to pay as I was so appalled by then and annoyed as I was paying for something I wasn't getting that I told them I'd cancel the direct debit anyway and wouldn't pay another penny. After all if this was electricity or gas I'd be sat in the dark freezing. Switched back to BT and from the moment of switching everything started to work ok again. Moral of the story- you get what you pay for. |

EE has become hopeless recently. I am on 38MBPS fibre contract, but usually get 12 to 15MBPS. For a brief moment last night I got 23MBPS but it didn't last. Gaming is a nightmare - the PS4 drops out, while the smart TV regularly freezes. Can't get anyone to answer the helpline due to 'high demand'. I want to throw my dinner at the TV when Kevin Bacon does his adverts. |

I have to say I'm absolutely appalled at your company I was going to leave EE broadband and go to talk talk but you guys persuaded me to stay so I did a terrible mistake on my part I have been without internet now for a month and despite continuous phone calls from myself to you this issue still hasn't been resolved your customer care staff have done nothing but continuously fob me off this is the worst company I've had to deal with and will ensure that my review of your company is put on social media sites and my friends repost it to save someone else having to go through what I have you do not care about your customers only how much money you're getting from them |

I was supposed to have a 4GB max sum plan that I could use abroad, however, they never set me up for abroad roaming so now my phone is set to the wrong time and I can't text, call or use data abroad. It's annoying as I don't even get the he message to confirm i'm in another country. The workers also don't know what the he here talking about. I asked about my plan and they said it wasn't for abroad, yet when I checked it was. I called again and they said it was. They have no idea what they are telling thwir customers and are not fully educated in what they inform. It's devestating. |

Terrible, when first installed the connection was poor, I called customer services and they said I should buy a booster. I live in a town so not exactly in the sticks. Ive been having problems again lately and they said they needed to send an engineer out. Failed to show twice, had to wait in half a day both times. Now on hold and have been for 40 mins trying to get through. To put salt in the wound they issued my bill today. |

So impressed with EE. I have been a customer with them for 3 years and nothing but fantastic customer service. I just spoke with them regarding moving house... was expecting a lengthy phone call to arrange. Took a few minutes and everything was sorted, no charge, no fuss, just fantastic customer service. Would definitely recommend. |

EE broadband is absolutely rubbish. I only went with their broadband because I was renewing my phone contract at the time and they offered me a better deal if I went for their broadband. Worst mistake I could've made, I still have 1 year left in my contract and I'm better off using the 4G on my phone than connecting to my home broadband. EE customer service is absolutely useless and I would've give them the time of day. They messed up my phone contract, I've never been so frustrated on the phone until I spoke to them so I now refuse to ring up EE. It's a shame because their phone deals are good but I can't imagine myself staying with them due to such poor service. I cannot wait for my broadband contract to end so I go elsewhere. |

Our EE broadband package started of great. We paid an upfront charge of £187 between 2, and our monthly bill was £1.85 a month for the next 12 months. Internet speed was good and there was generally no problems with our service. |

Well, here's a fine too do. I have been with EE for two years and have been looking for a better deal, so I have been reading the reviews for various providers. My only conclusion is that I am amazed that ANYONE gets any broadband connection. All the reviews seem to be negative, so here is mine for EE; A bit of a rocky start, had a couple of weeks of non-fibre broadband at the start 'cos EE said they had fibre when they hadn't, but eventually .... all was good. Download & upload speed good, the very occasional reset of the router, no more than 2 or 3 times a year and after the initial hiccup I have only had to contact support once - nice lady, based in UK, spoke English, not tech and the problem was sorted by Outreach who found the council had been setting up new street lamps and had mucked up our broad band line, All sorted. Only reason I'm thinking of leaving EE is to get 78 Mbs at three quarters of the cost. |

Avoid like the bubonic plague. I opened two contracts out and internet is slow as slugs. Issue cannot be resolved by the internet so you have to call and speak to them. Intercut cuts off and slows down very annoying, tech team can't do much as well. Really don't know what to do feel like I've been scammed. Don let fall for the cheap price if you u get is a rubbish connection. |

When it connects the speed is ok but it constantly drops out, I was with EE a couple of years ago without any problems then I moved to Sky, again without any problems but since I've moved back to EE its been terrible, every 5 to 10 minutes I have to reconnect. Reconnecting itself can take a few minutes before it allows you to, the end of my contract cant come quick enough. |

Problem with the line, multiple calls and engineer visits, line constantly cutting out and stuttering not reliable, cuts streaming off locks apps up, game play hard latency problems, and all this could be fixed by not having fibre to my local green cabinet then an old fashioned copper wire to my house, pointless it's not fibre as a true connection, only to the area connection box then your on your own suckers. |

I got my act sorted when told that fsnet will be discontinued end of May and signed up to Gmail and sorted well in advance only to find orange / Ee continued the server until today which caused some problems this last month but today I have not been able to send or receieve emails and was told when I phoned 10am that by 6pm all should be fine. A busy day running a business with no email and now just finished 9.30pm and no one available to talk to. Nice some can finish early and leave behind faults and poor customer service until the next day. What do I do in the meantime unable to run my business...and where is my refund of months payment of poor service, if I treated my clients like this and just 'walked off' leaving problems on a very important change-over day, I wouldn't exist. I would have thought all working through the night to make sure the inconvenience caused to customer resolved.... |

Advisor cheated us! He said one price for me and partners phone contracts but at the end bill come much bigger with different prices. On contract advisor didnt write down prices. The last step when he put a receipt we didnt check it but there was all truth! Even for insurance he said its 8£ a month but at real its 12 £. And we can't prove it cuz all information is on receipt not contract. What should we do? I dont wanna pay that money monthly....im not ready for expensive bills! Its Lincolns store on 309 High street. Sales advisor who cheated us is Raymond! |

Replaced my Tescos with EE as it was cheaper. Sometimes the speed is good but for the most part the pages keep dropping out and you have to cancel the page and re load again which is particularly annoying on pages like banks where you've filled in your passwords and secure info. Am moving to Staffs soon and to be honest I would go back to BT as I never had an issue with broadband speed :) |

Have been with EE mobile for many years and had ups and downs with customer service however, this review is for broadband which I switched over to just a couple of weeks ago and, touch wood, so far it has proved to be a seamless transition from BT and speed and reliability are already improved. |
